This experience was top tier. My burger came out looking AMAZING the buns were toasted perfect I love they have a "pick two" on their appetizer list. The ranch was good. Our waitress was so nice & SPEEDY. We were there for 45 minutes!!!! 10/10 would recommend ‼

This is a three star but I will go back for sure. My husband and I were looking for an easy lunch on a rainy Saturday last weekend. We ended up getting two easy meals and they both tasted really good. My husband got the grilled chicken salad with balsamic dressing, and I got the half sandwich and a half soup combo. I picked a deli turkey sandwich with tomato and mustard and a bowl of stuffed pepper soup. I thought the soup was really good and the sandwich was a little bland but that's what I picked to put on so more my fault than theirs. We will definitely go back especially for breakfast which while we were there people were eating and it looked delicious. Also the night before we picked up some gallons of ice cream and the buckeye and strawberry cheesecake were both great.

Cheesesteak and curly fries

I've only ordered to-go from Valley Dairy due to Covid but the food and service was great both times! Both times, the food was hot and ready when promised. One time, my mom ordered sweet potato fries, which came with maple syrup. The lid of the syrup was loose and spilled all over the cheesesteak. They immediately remade it and even gave her a coupon as an apology. We were very pleased the great customer service! And most importantly, the food was also really good. I tried the Reuben with regular fries and Cheesesteak with Curly Fries. The reuben was delicious and had a great proportion of saurkraut and corned beef. The cheesesteak was also really good - and it was big! Overall, great food and service! I will definitely return next time I'm in the area.

This is a very nice little breakfast/ lunch restaurant in the fairly deserted DuBois Mall. You can…read moreaccess it either through the mall itself or from the outside (drive to the back of the mall, their door is located to the right of the mall back entrance but is unmarked). I honestly didn't expect much, but my Mom had been there with friends and wanted me to try it. The interior is well decorated and very clean. Our server couldn't have been nicer. We ordered breakfast sandwiches which were served quickly, hot, and were large. They were also delicious. The coffee is some of the best I've had at a restaurant in recent months (thank you!). We were very pleased with our meals and plan to return often. We've heard that their soups are delicious, and look forward to trying them!

We had the monte cristo deep fried with raspberry sauce. It was beautiful with plenty of stuffing and a light fluffy crust and the raspberry sauce made a delightful sweet and savory treat. We had an omelette with spinach (fresh), peppers (multi-colored and grilled), ham and Swiss. The eggs were fluffy and it came with nicely seasoned breakfast potatoes and grilled toast made with house-made rye bread that almost melted in your mouth. My husband had eggs over easy with bacon, French toast and an English muffin. All were good. I would definitely eat here frequently if we lived in the area!

Really cute local place with very fair prices. I went twice for lunch last week. The service was…read morevery friendly and very attentive. Never had to wait for anything. The food was decent, better than national chains and priced competitively. The ambiance really did it for me. Reminded me of going to an Italian restaurant in the 1990s with my grandparents. Loved the kitschy walls, the tablecloths, the bread on the table. Seemed to be a local institution.

I almost never write negative reviews, but I get the feeling a lot of people pass through this area…read moretraveling and would want to know, so here goes. We got there somewhere around 7 o'clock, were seated within 10 minutes. I was super excited because the atmosphere in this place is outstanding. I mean really great looking restaurant. Old school Italian is the only way I can describe it. We ordered mozzarella sticks as an appetizer and they were fantastic, as well as the salad and wedding soup we ordered. Bread was also really good. However, the main course was not very good at all. My eight-year-old ordered mac & cheese, which I was shocked to learn was Kraft. (as an authentic Italian place, that was kind of weird) I ordered the chicken Romano and the waitress suggested I change the side of pasta to capavelli with a sun-dried vodka sauce... I think that's what it was, but it was a different sauce than on the menu, am my daughter ordered angel hair with basil Alfredo sauce and chicken. First thing, my son said was his mac & cheese tasted funny, I took a bite and it was extremely overcooked. The noodles were mush, and there was no sauce or flavor. My daughter's Alfredo was already separated when it came to the table, and the bottom of the plate was filled with a ton of oil and the noodles were extremely dry. If you bet me money that was an Alfredo sauce, I would've lost that bet. I didn't taste Alfredo at all. We ended up asking for an extra side of Alfredo, and that came out separated as well, and no amount of stirring would put it back together. I'm guessing all of this was microwaved, except maybe the noodles. My chicken Romano was OK. The pasta suggestion from the waitress was absolutely delicious, but the chicken was definitely not panfried long enough, and there was so much butter or Whirl, on it and on the plate that I tried to use my napkin to sop it up. (i'm thinking it was a butter substitute like Whirl based on the taste) Everything was reasonably priced, but we took almost all of the food home accept the mac & cheese, we tossed that. I'm gonna try to fix the pasta with a trick when Alfredo sauce is overcooked and separated, and hopefully I can save it. I think I'm gonna set my chicken breast on a piece of bread to try to soak out the stick of butter (Whirl?) that's on it. Usually I love a great chicken Romano with a well-prepared butter-lemon-caper sauce, but there was no lemon, no caper, just A pool of butter/Whirl. If I can't fix this it's $80 in the trash. I don't make it through this area often, but I will try this place again and order other items because maybe they're way better at something else.
