I would rate the food quality and taste as average. Overall, nothing to write home about. Server was pleasant but missed the mark on a couple of things. My son enjoyed the half-pound bacon cheeseburger. I had the turkey avocado bacon burger. The turkey burger was ok but it was on the dry side. I think they use extra lean ground turkey because that is what it reminded me of (both texture and appearance). In addition, my burger was missing the standard condiments: lettuce, tomato, onions and pickles. Didn't realize it until I was halfway through and I'm sure it would've helped make it taste better. We ordered a side of ranch for the fries but the waiter forgot it. I flagged down another waiter who said he would take care of it but didn't. Ultimately I asked our waiter again and he brought some. We were not offered ketchup for our burgers or fries so I had to ask for that as well. Not sure if that is the norm here. The salad bar was pretty basic. I wish they had feta cheese as a topping. It's possible that I missed it but I only saw shredded cheddar. The biscuits were promised early on but due to apparent snafus in the kitchen, we did not receive them until after our meal. I asked a few times throughout the meal but they weren't ready until about 45 minutes later when we were done. Our waiter was nice enough to pack them to go for us so that made me happy. They are yummy little morsels so make sure you try them. P.s. 3 of us went tonight to take my mother-in-law out on October 4, 2023 at 6:55pm in the Clermont, Fl location and waited until 8pm to get our entrees. The entire time we only got 2 waters and 2 mixed drinks, the server stopped by twice in the entire hour and let us know our entrees would come out in 5 minutes. 15 minutes later (at 8pm) my mother-in-law was so hungry she had to leave and I let the server know we couldn't wait any longer for our food. The servers were respectful, however but the way the manager handled the situation was extremely underwhelming. She brought the manager who didn't seem apologetic or surprised about the wait, and didn't even care to provide any explanation for the wait (restaurant wasn't even busy). He just said "ok" and removed one of the items from the bills and we paid our bill and left. It was an absolute failure and disaster of an evening as we had wanted to take her out for a nice night out since she likes the food here. I hope this serves as a warning of caution for anyone wanting to give this place a try. read more

Terrible restaurant, after being seated we were told they were out of all types of hamburgers and fries. The serving staff weren't advised of the problem by management until after drink orders were taken. We were a group of 8 and 2 of our meals were cold when brought to our table. We had free desserts through the reward app but even though there were supposed to be free our bill reflected a 2.99 charge for each dessert. I saw the waitress twice, during a not so busy lunch hour. Once when she took the order, someone else brought the food to the table, and again to bring the bill. I mentioned that the ribs were tough and not very good. She asked if I'd like to tell that to the Manager. He came over and basically tossed a card on the table and said that's for a free hamburger with no apology or regret that I didn't enjoy the meal. At this point I was a bit annoyed and said fine. Then the waitress brought the hand-held billing unit to be signed. The tip started at 20% then 25% and other. As I was verifying the bill I noticed that the tipping percentage was on the total amount of the check including the tax which boosted the cost of meal even more. Very disappointed in Ruby Tuesday in Clermont. We've eaten here before and enjoyed it. However, It's gone downhill. I checked the website before we left home and saw the salad bar was included with the meal between 4 and 7 pm. The server insisted this ended at 4 pm. I thought maybe I read it wrong. However, when we got home, the web site did say the salad bar was included between 4 and 7 pm. Also, the food was truly tasteless. Our Sever was Ben, he is great, he made suggestions, and we got starter, which was amazing. His AGM Ray came buy to see if all our needs were being met. He told about the Toys for Tots campaign, and my husband and I happily donated. Ruby Tuesdays is a great place to bring the family and there is something for everyone. My husband and I had an excellent experience at this location today. Our food was served timely and was delicious. I had the bourbon salmon with broccoli and mashed potatoes and my husband had the pasta with broccoli. Our server, Dawn, was helpful and courteous. I ordered the Crispy Chicken Mac 'n Cheese to go. I usually order this when dining in. What a big difference from dining in to ordering to go! There was no sauce whatsoever on the chicken and the cheese in the Mac 'n Cheese was very runny. I called the establishment several times to speak to the manager leaving my phone number and email address each & every time several days in a row including the day of ordering. We went on $5 garden bar day so couldn't use bonus card. And Hubby got the fajita which was a joke, nothing like what you get elsewhere & since that is a limited promotion yep can't use bonus card. I'm very disappointed with the handling of our larger party a couple weekends ago. We called ahead and let them know we'd be eating there with 15 people. We had four families from our soccer team and showed up at 1:30, the tail end of the lunch rush. Upon arrival we were told we had to sit separately all in different parts of the restaurant for various reasons. Scheduling, food dropping times, another large party (that never showed up), Staffing etc. It just felt like we were lied to and the reasons didn't make any sense to any of us. Anyways we were hungry and had hungry children so we sat the kids together and two adults had to go with them then the rest of the families were sat in a different area of the restaurant. The most peculiar part of our visit is the area surrounding the children had ZERO other people in any of the tables or booths - just bizarre! Let me start with the server was awesome! She was kind sweet attentive and understanding. That being said I prefer my fruit garnish in drinks to not look like someone already chewed it up. According to Chris the manager and John- who I assume is the regional manager- this is the new normal. You have to request the fruit not be juiced in your drinks if you don't want them to look like the attached. I walked in right smack in the middle of a dinner rush, was seated right away, and met our great server,Keila A. right away. Up first, our appetizer, the Southern Sampler. That dish featured 4 juicy meatballs in a BBQ sauce, Pimento Salad with Ruby Tuesday's flatbread seasoned crackers and Bacon Deviled Eggs. The eggs tasted salty to me,but I usually don't salt my food, otherwise, everything was delicious. This place is so good I don't know why it's not busier! They have an unbelievable special all day on Tuesdays right now. Burgers, chicken sandwiches and blackened tilapia sandwiches with fries or tots for just $5 each!! I love the tilapia so much I order 2 of them! It's a bun with a full size tilapia hanging out both sides, lettuce, tomato, onion and pickles. Best fish sandwich around! Sometimes on my 2nd one I leave the bun and just eat the fish like a meal. Fries with my first order, tots with my 2nd. You can also add on their great salad bar, but salad bars still worry me with the virus around. Note: if you go for a $5 sandwich, don't just tip 15 or 20% of that. It's just as much work for the server whether your meal is $5 or $20. Be fair. Some of the veggies were a bit outdated but overall the offerings were fresh, good looking, and the staff attentively replaced missing pieces of the bar. The waiter was friendly and quick (granted the restaurant was almost empty). The only objection I had was the repetitive "are you doing ok?" Every five minutes when the personnel sees I'm in the middle of my lunch. Bathrooms were clean (which is always a plus) and I was in and out of there in 30 minutes. 4 star for the slightly annoying "checkins" from the waiter and some of the veggies being clearly old, yet served anyways. read more

No my favorite restaurant, but I frequent it a lot because of location and friendly staff. I do like their Grilled salmon. I don't care for their cocktails - never seem to be made to my liking. My first and last visit ever to this place. We were in there about 2 weeks ago. We stood at the front waiting for someone to greet us and seat us. Waited 10 minutes all the while an employee saw me and was talking in her phone and using a sweep broom going over the same place again and again. A couple came walking by her and said we're leaving since we have waited for 30 minutes and no one has taken our order. She looked at them and didn't say one word to them and mumbled to herself..,okay. (She was thin with black hair that wa died purple at the ends. ). They asked to speak to the manager and this girl just stared at them and didn't answer. They were fed up and walked out. She came over to me then complaining about the couple that just left then said oh, do you wanna sit. As I walked through the restaurant about 60% of the tables had dishes on them. No one was bussing the tables. Finally a waitress came over, talked to the gal with purple hair and asked her what was wrong with her. Again this gal mumbled. She even asked what happened to the people at the table, the purple hair gal lied and said oh they just walked out. Our order was taken. Waited for our food. The whole time we waited then ate that gal kept brooming the same area and talking (either to someone on her earbuds or to herself). The most unprofessional people I've ever seen. We used to enjoy this restaurant, but it has been continually going downhill. Tonight is a prime example. My husband had a coupon for free hamburger for his birthday. We ordered ice tea and coffee. After ten minutes we got our drinks. My husband asked for cream. Server did not return for another ten minutes. We asked what happened, as coffee was now cold. Told us no one knew where the creamers where. What?? Okay, now hamburger and grilled chicken sandwich delivered. Both were cold. No employees in sight for quite awhile. Husband went up to bar area. Server came and said he would send manager over. She came and said she put it up for delivery immediately after being plated. We said, but it was cold. Her response was it couldn't be. I asked my parents what they would like for dinner? They said how about the salad bar at Ruby Tuesday's. So off to restaurant we went. We were greeted right away and seated. The waitress was very sweet and attentive. Both my parents had the salad bar as a meal while I had the salad bar and a burger that was cooked to the temperature that I requested. The baked potato was ok but not piping hot. My wife had the veggie trio paired with the salad bar. She liked the veggie trio very much. Now the salad bar is where things fell apart. First let me begin with the restaurant was not very crowded. The 4 lettuce bowls needed to be refilled along with many of the other items such as chopped nuts, bacon, eggs, spiral pasta salad, croutons, and just about all of the dressings needed to be topped off and wiped clean. The philly cheesesteak sandwich looked good, what a joke, The beef was almost burnt, shredded and I found one piece of burnt onion and maybe 2 pieces of mushroom. We also ordered a appetizer of cheese fries with the bacon and it was listed as an entree and they only took off the $8.99 not the $13.49 for the philly cheesesteak sandwich. The fries were cold and soggy. I always carry insulated bags in my car and the food went from the kitchen to an insulated bag in my car and home in 18 minutes.
