Ok first time I've been to Ruby Tuesday in a while. Wife and I are vegetarians. She loved her salad bar everything was fresh and spot on. Place was clean handled a large crowd rather well. But I was lured in by the impossible burger couldn't help myself but alas what was I thinking. What I was brought was either microwaved to death or overcooked like a hockey puck. We had a large crowd so I didn't want to be that guy so I suffered my burger in silence. Nice a quiet we stopped in about 1:30 don't have any in state we live in so was a nice change. Server was very nice and helpful we had 9 people. She was awesome and took great care of us! Salad bar was phenomenal. Great variety. I would advise you to check out menu on line it is quite large and had lots of items that looked very good. I've eaten at Ruby's many times. I went again this time to the one in Bismarck. I love the salad bar. However, I've noticed a sign of the times I guess, I'll explain below. This visit, service was very good, personable, and attentive. I ordered an Alaskan Amber, got an IPA, but it was quickly corrected. No big deal. We had a combo appetizer. The chicken bites were exceptional, the Mozzarella Sticks ok, but the Spinach Dip had sort of a chicken broth taste. Different than what I've had before. I was hungry so I ordered the Rib Eye Steak, Ribs, and Shrimp combo. Here's where I say a 'sign of the times'.!Really poor steak, ribs with the bourbon sauce tender yet sauceless, and the shrimp I can get out of a box at Walmart. I understand the restaurant business is tough these days but if you don't maintain a level of quality, you'll have bigger problems coming. Charge for it, but step it up, charge me $90 for the two of us instead of the $80. But for that, I expect better! 2 stars for the food, 4 for the service. read more

I have no problem with Ruby's for lunch. It's super consistent (how do they *still* have those awesome pumpernickel croutons after 20+ years?) and the salad bar here was generally well cared for and well stocked. We sat at the bar where our drinks were refilled, my burger arrived promptly with the right side (broccoli instead of fries) and all was well. This Ruby's is A-OK. The staff were great! We brought our two wild boys ages 2 and 5 and the staff were more than accommodating. The food was good however the portion sizes were very small my wife and I both had a smash burger and the patty was around the size of a 50 cent piece. Stack 3 or 4 50 cent pieces and you can gauge the thickness. We love Ruby Tuesdays and our regular one in Grandforks got shut down. The restaurant is immaculate but portion sizes are very small. Our compliments to The chefs and Staff. Great tasting and fullfing meals and Fresh ingredients in the salad bar. The staff was great! I believe it was a manager who made for me a raspberry vinaigrette that wasn't on the salad bar, but asked about it and he went out of his way to make it for us. I ordered the smokehouse burger and requested that it be medium rare. As I'm eating the burger I started to notice that there was excessive amount of pinkness in the burger. I opened the little bit of the burger that was left and found out that it was barely even cooked at all. Service was also terrible waited 20-30 minutes for a server to come and take our drinks. So disgruntled and disappointed DONE WITH THEM So we are members of the Ruby Tuesdays rewards club, and the 4 of us have been going there every Sunday for several weeks for the Sunday BOGO offer as shown in this image. We have always gotten 2 separate checks and used the coupon. However tonight we were told by our server that it is ONE per table snd that it says it in the instructions, (read it for yourselves i cant find where it says that). We brought up that we have been doing this and our waitress says that they have been YELLED at by management for doing more than one per table. So we asked to speak to manager after pointing out it does NOT say one per table. The manager never came but instead sent waitress back saying they will do an off line coupon this ONE time. My family and I had been on the road all day today, we finally checked into our hotel and saw this restaurant had a decent rating. So we headed over, we were sat down at 8:08PM. We proceeded to watch servers avoid the area of the restaurant we were seated in. After waiting 20 minutes we gave up and headed to Little Caesar's. I'd love to be able to write a legitimate review on their food and service, however since we received neither this is all I can provide. I brought my three kids and myself to Ruby Tuesday's. We got sat in Jasmine section. She had two other tables from what I could see. She took our drink and our food order her right away which was nice. We got our food and my chicken Caesar salad looked like it was made from old soggy lettuce and it only filled up a small portion of the bowl. Nonetheless, my kids and I were hungry so we started to eat. Once we had finished eating, we sat and waited for at least 10 minutes and Jasmine never came back. She looked over at us a couple of times, but would go and help her other two tables. She could see that we were done eating but instead she chose to go and clean off her other table instead of coming to check on us. So we all sat there with our dirty dishes and no refills. My kids went to the car and I sat for another five minutes before she finally saw that it look like I must be done as I was now a solo diner. She yelled at me from three tables away, "are you done?" I said yes. Lol. She then went to the next table over and took their order. She went and put their order, then she came back and gave me the check and asked if I needed a box. I said that I did. She came back with the box. I gave her my card. When you pay at Ruby Tuesday's you have to put in your tip on their little hand kiosk. I myself was in the service industry for two decades, and if I had treated my table that way, I would not expect a big tip, maybe not even a tip at all, probably a penny. Once I was putting in the tip, she tried to make small talk with me about my kid. Too late! I gave her 5% which was a stretch for what she earned. She saw what I tipped her, and she ripped the ticket off of her kiosk and threw it on the table and whipped around in stomped away. I got up and immediately asked to talk to the MOD. He agreed that this type of service was not acceptable for his establishment, and I actually felt bad for him that he had such a crappy staff member because he is a really nice guy. Horrible service, horrible food. Had an under cooked steak (I ordered medium rare, got an extremely rare steak). I told the server who was busy watching tv, so the manager dealt with it. I like eating at Ruby Tuesday units while on the road, mostly because of their salad bar offerings. I often get a steak too - if it's dinner time. They do OK with the steaks, nothing great there - other than the price is reasonable. This last week an apparent decision at the corporate level means they've changed salad dressings and the new options are awful! I loved the old blue cheese, but the new stuff is a watery buttermilk variety - yuk! The other choices are just as bad. Why mess with a good thing! We stopped in the other day. My wife ordered the New Orleans seafood dinner and I the bacon cheeseburger. Our waitress was a bit all over the place as the place started filling up. A little slow with service. Took a while for her to recognize our presence. Drinks came at a reasonable time as well with the food. Her dinner looked great, and my cheeseburger looked yummy as well. IF i had to say one bad thing, it would the the glasses were water stained and appeared dirty because of this. Perhaps invest in a better rinse agent in your dishwasher? read more

I've never really enjoyed this restaurant. It's yet another middle-of-the-road place with boring food, bad décor, and bad service. Last night was no exception. Connie, our server, must have been having bad night. We waited for everything longer than we should have. She definitely needs some help with time management and how to be hospitable towards guests. The food was lousy, really lackluster. The appetizer we ordered was just a pile of greasy, flavorless fried stuff. My burger was dry, unseasoned, and cold. I wasn't super keen to go here for dinner, since I find their lunch menu lacking, but I was pleasantly surprised. The menu was large and had many appealing items. It was hard for me to choose just one. The food was good, too, and a little more outside the typical restaurant-chain menu. The salad bar wasn't as great or as big as I had anticipated or experienced at other RT locations. I was looking for more non-typical salad options (fruit, pudding, etc) and they didn't have much of that. We were seated immediately but then sat and waited. By the time Lexi came over, we were ready to place our entire order. Lexi wasn't our intended server - we never knew who that was - but Lexi saw us waiting and swooped in to help. The first thing I will say is that our server was outstanding. I was with a group of very rowdy gentlemen and she did everything she could to make sure our time there was the best, and she succeeded. I'll be honest, my food was even pretty good. Burger was a bit cold but I've tasted above average. My issue came when I was leaving the establishment. As I walked out the door, the worker stocking the salad bar stopped what her was doing and picked his nose. With his gloves on. And then proceeded to continue to stock the food. No joke, I vomited in the parking lot. I ate at the salad bar not 20 minutes prior. Seriously the most disgusting thing I've ever seen at a restaurant. I'm queazy just thinking about it. It can only be assumed that if the standards for the workers at the salad bar are that low, then the kitchen is operating on the same level of uncleanliness. Safe to say I will never be stepping foot into that building ever again, and I advise that you don't either. Also never ever eat at the Taco Bell on south 8th street in Moorhead. I think I'd rather eat the booger salad at ruby Tuesdays than that garbage pit. read more

Waited for 45 minutes to be seated for a table of 6. Arrived at 11:45 AM-- seated at 12:35 PM. Meanwhile a steady steam of couples continued to be seated during the time period. The restaurant would NOT consider putting two tables togethers when there was an opening.... they just continued to buy pass us (3 adults/3children). My fiancé and I tried it out since we had a gift card. The waitress was very attentive although there was no hostess in the front and it took us a minute or too to get seated. I opted for a chicken entree with the salad bar and Mac and cheese. I also ordered Wildberry lemonade which was very good! The salad bar tasted very fresh and was quite clean. The entree was very hot and tasty. Had I known it had been such a big portion of chicken I may have opted for another entree, but it was more than worth what I paid for. Service is always excellent. I come here especially when the coupons are floating around. BEST salad bar in town (quality) not volume. I usually get the 2 mini burgers with a salad bar. My husband and I stopped in late one weekday evening since we were in the area. I usually try avoid chain restaurants, but I was very happy we tried Ruby Tuesday. Very poor brunch. Expensive, and very limited options. I am normally impressed with the lunch and dinner options. Brunch = fail.
