The food was fine, but the service was terrible. I used the app to reserve my place in line (group of 4), checked in with the hostess stand on arrival, and was called back in less than 10 minutes with a message that our table was ready. That worked great! Or so I thought. When we got to the hostess stand, we were told that we were called too soon, but that we were next. We counted at least five groups get seated ahead of us, many of them large groups. We complained to the hostess, she apologized and said they were training someone and that we were next. Again. Another large group was called ahead of us. Again. We went back to the stand and finally they had a table for us, but we had to wait for it to be cleaned. Then our waitress was terrible. She brought our first round of drinks and took our orders, then disappeared. We only saw her again when she brought the check. She never checked on us to see if our food was right or if we needed refills. Someone else brought our food and we had to flag someone down for refills. We were there at least an hour. That's a long time to not at least make a pass by and see if we needed anything. As I said, the food was fine, but I did not feel it was worth that kind of wait or poor service. Strangely enough the burgers were a hit, yet the Boogaloo Shrimp Benedict was a big miss. After waiting over an hour for a table, my biscuit was dry, gravy was scarce and the egg over cooked! Epic failure and great disappointment. Had a much better experience at their Mid City location years back. Although I give great props to the Yelp app which allowed us to get on the waitlist ahead of time....even though the wait took a while, it gave us time to get there and not rush. The food was excellent. I got a buttermilk pancake, pig candy bacon, and breakfast potatoes. The pancake was fluffy and not packy like some pancakes are. The pig candy bacon is a must try!! The potatoes were nice and crisp. My mom got the bacon praline pancakes which I tasted--also yummy. However, I gave it 3 stars because the service was very sub-par. Our waiter kept forgetting things and did not have an accommodating attitude. Some of the other staff members acted the same way. Terrific brunch! We registered online to add us to the wait list online and waited maybe 10 mins after we arrived (30-40 min wait otherwise). This was my first time eating at this restaurant and I really enjoyed the brunch, the food was actually excellent. The dish that I ate was very tasteful very, fulfilling and very sweet. I had the praline pecan French toast along with the bacon and the shrimp omelette. As an appetizer I had the French toast bites. The customer service was actually spectacular and also it was consistent to my liking. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone that is looking for a great brunch/lunch spot in the area and for someone that's looking for some very good Louisiana style food. Furthermore, I encourage anyone that is interested in going to this restaurant to get there early because you may have to wait to get a seat to eat. Also, I would suggest coming with your taste buds ready for some really good food and expect great service from the staff at the restaurant. The service is not as efficient. We were seated right away. The server never came. We moved to another seating location so that we could finally get service. Between waiting and ordering food, it took 45 minutes. Many of the servers were just standing around talking. We have been here numerous times and it has never been this bad. We stopped here on November 21 about 9AM while we were passing through on our way to Georgia. We ordered our food to go and they go tbh everyone's order just right! Ate here today. I just can not get down with this place. I have been to 2 locations New orleans and Baton Rouge (today) and just...ugh. Both times I ordered the shrimp and grits. Bland Bland bland...did I say bland! The mimosa was even trash. Sent that back ASAP! It's like they use the worse champagne and OJ available. The shrimp was water logged...bbq sauce tasted like water with seasoning in it. I was really excited to try out this restaurant, but unfortunately it was an unpleasant experience. First, we arrived and a cockroach fell from the ceiling and almost landed on the hostess helping us. She freaked out and left. Then we got seated in the hot, blazing sun outside. There was no umbrella or shade and it was about 80 degrees out and sunny. It got so hot and we were burning up that we asked to be moved inside. When we got inside and got our food, there was a broken egg shell in our eggs Benedict peacemaker. It was a really disappointing experience. I don't think we'll be back. I hope at the very least, they invest in a few umbrellas for their outside tables that aren't under the shade. read more

We checked-in to get a buy one get one free Mimosa, but found them to be too sweet for my tasting with barely any champagne taste. The wait time was crazy long for breakfast.. after ordering I believe we waited close to 45 minutes which is pretty ridiculous considering the majority of what we ordered was eggs and potatoes.
