I can't tell you how amazing this mail spa is!!! Heidi is the only person I will ever go to now. I have seen her a few times and every single time I am blown away by her professionalism and her overall greatness! The salon is very big, and open, very clean, the services are really what they say they are. They do have dip nails here too which is great! The staff offer you drinks and the tv's aren't playing sports! I do recommend bringing cash for a tip there is no machine on site and I always forget. This review is long overdue. In March 2019, I brought my 3 daughters in to treat us to a mother/daughter day as 2 were visiting from out of state. We ran to Ruby's in the morning but they were so busy, we had no problem scheduling an appointment for later as they requested. We came back at appointment time, they only had space for 3 of us and asked me to wait til another chair & person was available....I had my daughters go...30 min later they started a foot bath for me...no hot water. I told them it wasnt warm enough, the water was emptied and tried again. Nope, not even warm. She looked at me and said "you come back tomorrow ". What!?!?! No explanation nothing. I was ticked, it is now 45 min after my girls had begun and I have been missing out with them. 10min later after my anger was apparent, one of the gals came and said that there is nothing they can do, the hot water is out. First of all, I was there for 30 min after appointment time and not all of us got seated, then I was left with no explanation why my chair appeared to have a broken tub--thats the impression the lady gave--she didn't speak much English and told to come back tomorrow....I was with my girls on a mother/daughter day--they were leaving the next day!!! Beware getting your punch card honored. Everything was going fine until it was time to ring me up. I gave her my $10 off punch card since I used it all up. She acknowledged it, but still rung up my credit card without taking the $10 off. I looked at her and asked, "So I'm not getting $10 off today?" She apologized she forgot even though she acknowledged a few seconds ago that I'm getting the $10 off the total. Her solution: come back next time to get the $10 off. Uh no, I want it today. She didn't bother to fix the transaction or give me back $10 in cash. She should honor the punch card regardless of her mistakes. She broke and lost my trust. I will not be coming here again. The massage they did was AMAZING! Unfortunately something went wrong eith my polish.. twice! The first time my gel manicure started bubbling after a week. So I went back and they took off the top layer and redid one coat of polish and the top coat. That new polish only lasted two weeks before the same thing started happening. Firstly, I called to make an appointment on Saturday for regular polish acrylics, asking if Heidi was available at a certain time and they said yes, but they had a completely different woman work on my nails. I was picking out a color and I asked what color she had on her nails, and she showed me the polishes which were a pink and an off-white shimmer on top, even though the color on her nails just looked off-white, but I figured she knew how to get to the result she had on her nails. Then when she was doing my acrylics, she filed my nails so hard (for about 45 minutes) that there was hardly any acrylic left and cut my fingers so much that they're still bleeding almost three days later. Also I had my acrylics done in black the last time I went there, and she left a ton of black around the edges and underneath my nails. Then, after filling and shaping my nails, she decided to have another women take over to paint them. They were communicating to each other and referencing the polishes, so I assumed the first woman explained to the second woman what I wanted. Then when the second lady painted them, she put on way too much pink since there was confusion when they decided to switch. I wouldn't care that much if not only did I say I wanted exactly what the first woman had, but I'm also supposed to wear a red dress to graduation. So I went home and then made an appointment to get them redone for free because of all the problems for today (Monday). When I came in today the woman who painted my nails immediately accused me of "choosing a color I didn't want" and argued with me when I explained what happened, and was being rude to me when I was trying to pick out what color I wanted. Then the lady who first filed my nails on Saturday filed them down even more, continued to avoid the black, and completely disregarded the request I made for the coats of polish. I had to remind her several times that there was still black around the edges. read more

I always get pampered here, so if you have the time, this is the place. They take their time, offer you something to drink. The atmosphere is calming and the spa is clean. I would say it's best to call for an appt rather than walk in. They don't always have a full staff but if you call in advance the owner usually calls in more staff. read more

Worst manicure of my life, never going back. This was my first and very last time going here. The gal that was doing my nails was very aggressive. Pulling my hands around and getting my skin on my finger nails every single time she filed my nails. When she was done I told her I was very unhappy as I had to correct her and make her re-do whatever she was doing wrong. She had major attitude the ENTIRE time and was even more annoyed when I told her my preference when she did it wrong. I was in a hurry to get home to the babysitter that was home with my kids so I told her it was a terrible job and I'm unhappy but I was in a hurry so I couldn't have them fixed right then and there. When I came back the lady's working there had bad attitude as if I did something wrong. If you want your customers happy, fix what you do wrong. We do not pay a small amount to have our nails done. Do it right. If you don't feel confident that you can do what the customer wants hand it off to somebody else. I will steer all of my friends and family in the area away from this place. read more

My friend and I came in for a walk in pedicure date, wait wasn't long at all and they fit us in as fast as they could. I wish I could say the service was great but they cut my friends cuticle causing her to drip blood down her foot and were really impatient. Also, the day after my visit I noticed a rash on BOTH of my feet! (Likely because the lady didn't wear gloves ) I've never experienced this before so I applied antibiotic to the rash and it was gone within a few days, thankfully. BE CAREFUL! read more

Not impressed with the service. I went to them for my first time last week to have a dip set removed, and nails painted after, and in the entire 1+ hour I was in there, not a single person smiled or showed any expression. The lady who took over on my nails would not respond to me sometimes when I would ask her things, and got irritated at me when I asked to pick out a different color then the one she picked for my nails. She still painted with my color, but then I messed up one of my nails while drying, and asked if she could fix it. She fixed it but then went and started in another client and forgot about me, and I had to ask for a clear coat to finish my nails cause she never came back. I just sat at the drier and looked around, trying to be nice but got someone's attention... I had to get up and go ask someone to get my nails finished, and then still wait for a different lady to come finish me. I have Been getting my nails done for seven years, I consider it a luxury service and not something that is needed, so when I choose to spend the money on something like this I expect the people offering a service to be kind and make you feel appreciated and cared for, along with providing a good quality service. I didn't even want to tip because I felt it was completely unearned.. but I still did. Will not be going back here. I want not pleased with the way my nails turned out either, the sides of my nails were not painted and I was left with strips of natural nail on almost all. I am not one to leave reviews but I figured I'd give everyone a heads up. Just went to Ruby's which I have been before a few times and have relatively good experiences but the last two times have been not so good... at all. I went a couple weeks ago with my mom- we were told the normal "20 minute wait" for a pedicure, so we sat in the chairs looking at colors for about 30 mins then they started us some water and were sat in the massage chairs where we waited for another 1hr45mins so our appt that was suppose to be 1hr turned into over 3hrs.. luckily we had no plans that day. I figured I'd give them another chance today... my friend just wanted to get her dip removed and I wanted to get dip applied. I picked a super super light peach color- I went to sit down and she grabbed the color and i said that looked way brighter than I thought it would be and she assured me it would look just like the one displayed.. it turned out to be one of the brightest neon oranges ive seen. Anyways, my friend had her fingers soaking during my whole appointment pretty much also on the pamphlet it says "Gel soak off $5" she was charged $10... when I went to pay she didn't say how much and I asked she said $40 and I was searching through the pamphlet to make a point I didn't see that. She says "it's not written anywhere"... umm what?! I wish I would have know that before or I wouldn't have gotten them. Not to mention she did not cut my cuticles, clean under my nails (so much powder under them) or give a hand massage. I wanted to like this place. I walked in and was greeted and asked if I wanted any refresher, which I greatly appreciate. However, my nail result was terrible. I was left with unevenly cut nails and the cuticles were not all the way trimmed. The paint job was done horribly. I prompted to let the nail technician know that I was unhappy. This has been my go to nail salon since they opened ans it has always been wonderful until today. I went in today for a mani/pedi in preparatiin for our son's wedding next Saturday. We had a 3 pm appointment. I had a woman I don't remember seeing in the shop before. I selected a lavendar polish and a similar color glitter to go over the poiish. I selected a lavendar cat eye polish for my fingers. This was my first time having this type of polish but my daughter in law has had it many times and apparently a magnet is used to create the cat eye look in the polish. As tge womsn was doing tge pedicure, I showed her tge glitter polish 3 different times and she kept nodding and saying yes but never used it on my toes. I thought well maybe she is just letting them dry thoroughly and will do it whike she is doing the manicure. Never happened even though I again showed her the bottle at the manicure station. The manicure was another disappointment. Never having the cat eye polish before, I didn't know when the magnet was supposed ti be used to create the cat eye effect. Towards the end, I asked about the magnet and when that was used snd once again, I got a smile and a yes. So, I have a mani and pedi that are not ehst I wanted. The woman was very pleasant and nice but obviously does not have the training on the various polish options and how to use them nor the language comprehension to understand what I was telling her about the glitter polish or the cat eye effect. This place at first is really friendly and nice but after going there twice the customer service has gone down hill. I got my nails and toes done and it took almost 4 hours total and most of it was waiting around for someone to do my nails. My feet sat in the water for close to an hour before anyone helped me. Then once it came to my nails I got dip powder,which I have gotten done several times before at other places. They put a clear coat of gel on top of it which doesn't adhere to the dip powder. After three days my nails were already chipping and cracking my natural nails. The second time I went back (wanted to give them another try) and I specifically asked to not have a gel clear coat on top and they told me yes before I sat down. When I was finishing up with them they ended up putting a gel clear coat on after I asked several times to not. They explained that this is the only way to get shine on my nails. So after me asking to not have the clear coat and sitting down for an hour and a half I still got my nails done a way I didn't even want. I will not be going back for many reasons, between the customer service and chipped nails, I don't have the time to sit through adisappointing manicure. read more

My friend and I went for pedicures and were really impressed with this salon; definitely a place to return to! I haven't found a place for pedis that I've been super comfortable with in the area, so this was a nice treat. It's a beautiful salon with plenty of stations for pedis and we were seated right away on a Saturday afternoon. They have a ton of polish colors to choose from and everyone we encountered was very polite and respected the choice of services that we made. Also, they have complimentary beverages (coffee, tea, sodas, & wine). Another thing that was different was that they open a brand new pedicure kit for you (very sanitary) and you take it home for just $3. I just did the Classic/Basic pedicure, my friend got the Deluxe and we both felt relaxed and happy. They didn't rush us out and we have pretty toes! What a joke of a place! My very sweet 17 year old went to her nails filled. Told them she wanted the regular acrylic and the woman told her to get a full set because her 2 nails needing fixing. She said no and when she tried to pay with a gift certificate she was gifted, they told her she could not. Kiely answered the phone and did not give me a chance to talk!
