Richard is not only an honest mechanic, he's a a great mechanic. When starting my Honda Accord it sounded like someone was playing with the accelerator with a constant idle surge. I took it to my old mechanic who gave me an exorbitant estimate to replace very many parts. A friend recommended that I take it to Richard which I did and he thoroughly inspected it and discovered the problem was the computer ( the one part that wasn't on the quote of my old mechanic!) This year he helped me with installing all the suspension/differential bushings, new brake system (incl. new calipers, discs, pads, lines, master cylinder, fluids), new front air dam, intake air filters, and a perfectly painted matched wing. Driving on my way back from New Port around 930 in the morning, I ran over some debris that popped my tire. It was beyond patching. After replacing my tire with my spare I gave Richard a call at about 10AM to see if he replaces tires and told me he could get a new tire and see me at 1230. I got there about 1240ish and as busy as he usually is, he still managed to put my rim onto a new tire in minutes. I was back to driving at 130. To all current bimmer owners out of warranty, Richard is the guy to take your car to for any and all repairs. I have a 2010 E92 with the n54 at 100K+ miles which is prone to many issues. I first found him here on Yelp for a quick repair job on a dead battery. Next, he replaced all my spark plugs, and on the most current job we had the following completed: replace waterpump+thermo+coolant hoses+coolant (which failed while driving on the freeway), replace valve cover gasket, replace oil filter housing gasket, perform carbon cleaning/walnut blast. All services were completed within a matter of days at prices that are completely reasonable compared to the dealer and other local indie shops. My car hasn't been this fun to drive in years.
