It reflects the diversity of the Bay Area and especially the East Bay. It's just a vibe all around. One of my favorite cafes, hands-down. This little café in Benicia is an absolute gem! The moment you walk in, you're greeted with the most delicious aroma of fresh coffee and a cozy, homey vibe. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. They have a huge variety of pastries to choose from, and the menu is simple and easy to navigate. I ordered a breakfast sandwich on their bakery croissant with bacon, egg, sausage, avocado, and pepper jack cheese. Every bite was fluffy, fresh, and filling. I also tried a blueberry fritter for the first time, and it was amazing! the perfect balance of a crispy outer crust with a soft, fluffy inside. For my drink, I went with their iced Royal Special Mocha, which was absolutely delicious and reminded me of a mocha blast from Baskin Robbins. Prices are very fair for the quality, and while parking can be a little tricky (it was packed when we arrived around 11:30am), there's a good amount of seating inside. All in all, this café is definitely worth a stop if you're in Benicia. I'll 100% be back! read more

Free wi-fi, outlets for laptops, clean bathroom, and owners are friendly. Also, if I heard correctly, it is a 15 years family owned establishment. The downside is that it closes at 6pm Mon-Sat so it's good if you want to come during the day, leave when it closes to go get dinner, then relocate to a different study spot. The wi-fi tends to connect and disconnect but it's ok for me since I should be studying anyways. Tip: bring headphones. There's seems to be a couple of high school girls that work here and I'd rather not listen to their conversations. Additionally, their coffee is strong and fresh as they roast their coffee in the middle of the cafe. Their sandwiches are of a good proportion if you are trying to be healthy and don't want to overeat. I'd say come support this local cafe over the Starbucks in the same plaza. It may be a little bit pricier but the quality is better. read more

Due to the new owner Cheng who is awful to her employees I will no longer support this coffee shop. I think it's an absolute shame how she treats her employees. Calling them stupid, telling them they can't do anything right. Down to get husband telling one of the girls to leave her key and get the f*** out now. I don't care how good the coffee and food is, when you have a boss that treats the employees like that, the business deserves to go under. I have nothing nice to say about this place and think the owner cheng is a real peice of work. I hope more people take this into consideration and stop supporting such a horrible woman! read more

This place is nothing like it used to be. There was an older gentleman there before and he was very nice and accommodating. Needless to say I will never go back there.
