    Western Burger

Hands down the best burger in Reno! I have ordered several things from their menu and am always amazed by how delicious it is. Their imperialish wings are delicious as well! This time I went with the western burger and a side salad and it was great. The vibes in this Midwest themed bar are great and their back room with booths always has all the games on!

A neighborhood tavern that I totally ignored until I didn't.. Excellent food, service and ambiance! So easy to get to between downtown and midtown. Chicken wings with fries were top notch. So were the delicious burgers with all the fixings! Yes, order on either side of the bar. Your food may take 1/2 hour if it's busy but that's ok. Soak up the vibe with your libations. The food will put this place on the top of your list. The wait staff hustle during happy hour. Get here a bit earlier in the afternoon for faster service but anytime you visit is great!

First time here and it was delicious. The service was great. For a Friday evening it was busy but worth the wait. We shared the green chili burger and got the shoestring fries and silver ghost margarita. We sat outside because the weather was beautiful. Visiting from Prescott, AZ

Imperial Chicken Wings w/ Wasabi Ranch

Craving a burger, we decided to stop by the restaurant that is always in the top burger joint lists. We ordered the Imperial Japanese Chicken Wings, the Frenchified Burger, and an order of poutine. The star of the meal was the chicken wings with the wasabi ranch dipping sauce. The seasoned shoestring fries served alongside were also excellent. The burger was very good, but it was essentially meat, sauce, and cheese. I like a little freshness on my burgers, so I was missing some lettuce and tomato. Fortunately, I substituted a salad for the fries and ended up piling most of it onto the burger. Next time, I'll just ask for those toppings to be added. The poutine, however, didn't quite live up to the versions I've had elsewhere. I'm not sure if they used white cheddar curds, but they were almost completely melted instead of retaining that signature squeaky texture. The gravy was just okay, and I don't think shoestring fries are the best choice for poutine since they don't hold up as well under the toppings. Overall, I'd definitely come back--especially for the wings and another burger.

Another successful visit to Royce Burger! I came by on a Thursday evening, after 9PM and was glad they were still serving food since most places in Reno seem to close up their kitchens before 9pm. It was a beautiful evening and we enjoyed the outside patio dining with our dog. They took our order quickly and the burgers came out pretty quick as well, within 30 min or so. Burgers were great as always, and we added the side of fries with fry sauce, a winning combination all the way around! Haven't had a bad experience yet, I love Royce burger!

Royce's is a Reno classic. With an amazing drink menu, convenient location and always friendly staff, this is a must visit for locals and visitors alike. Hands down the best smash burger in Reno. While the menus offered a wide selection you can go wrong with just the classics. The space is small but well thought out with plenty of seating and shared spaces to meet new people. I highly recommend stopping in for a drink and a great burger.

I love going to Royce on a lovely Sunday afternoon when they open at noon, all other days 4pm. Sometimes I go on a Saturday and realize nope not till 4pm -10pm. Since I found Royce, it's my go to burger joint! The flavor of the meat, the toasted bun, the melted cheese running down the burger, oh my goodness, it's heavenly! I love the shoestring fries, pairs perfectly with the burger and the fry sauce is my favorite! The guys that run the bar are so nice, friendly and accommodating to your needs. They have anice patio seating or if you're lucky enough you can sit at the bar and they'll wait on you there, instead of waiting in line! I always like how they give you a 45 minute warning before you order in case you're in a rush. This is not a fast food establishment, this is a place who provides outstanding food and worth the wait!

Must eat here! So, so good. Loved the pork belly and wing. We also had the frenchifry burger that was really good as well! We loved sitting outside and enjoying the Reno skyline! It was really busy here on a Friday night, so expect to wait a tad bit for your food!

So the wife and I been wanting to go here for a while. We finally did it was busy but we got a table. Wife ordered food and drinks. Inside is small so we sat outside. Cool vibe all around staff is friendly. Burger was yummy and so were the wings! We will definitely be back! Cheers

Yummy. I have been trying to eat here for awhile. It seemed as though every time I would be by there they were super busy and I did not want to wait. The service is good and the atmosphere is chill. The burgers are really good and the fries were super good. Glad I was able to finally try them.

We came in at 4:30 on a Saturday night before a basketball game. As we walked up to the counter, the wait time for food changed from 45 min to 1 hour. I understand restaurants can be busy but an hour is a long time to wait for a burger. Our food runner delivered our wings for our appetizer and didn't ask us if we were okay and needed anything else. At Royce, you order at the bar and don't get assigned a server at your table. Therefore, I feel that it's very important the food runners check in with you because they'll be your only point of contact throughout the night. And unfortunately, I ran into a problem. The Japanese wings were burnt and overcooked. I had to get up, find a food runner, and figure out if they could make me a new set of wings. They did and the second set turned out way better than the first. Our burgers did show up approximately 1 hour after we ordered and they were delicious. Everything just "came together" and tasted wonderful. The ambiance is a very friendly, dark, casual, and gives off a cozy neighborhood bar vibe. Overall I would come back because the burgers were very good.

I have passed by Royce plenty of times and finally got to go in and around and OMG I love it! On a busy Friday night for my friend's birthday, we hoped inside to an older building with classic decorations, waiting in line we got to figure out our food orders and I noticed all the songs playing on their speakers was punk and rock! From Turnstile to Lambrini Girls, which immediately grabbed my attention and love. I ordered drinks while my boyfriend ordered burgers and we met our friends outside. Royce does a great job at pumping out food on a busy Friday night, I enjoyed the friendliness of the bartenders and the varied seating around the area. Love love loved! I WILL be back.

Cool little bar, great burger. If the burger came with homemade chips instead of lays would be 5 stars.

Is there an option to order a single patty burger?

I'm sure you could order just one patty, they are super accommodating! However the burger patties are VERY thin ( I LOOOVE THAT! ) So basically two patties are like one normal burger patty size, combined. Hope that helps :)

A couple of places were really busy due to it being a Friday night, but we came across this place and it was not very crowded. We had a party of seven we were greeted immediately and sat. Megan C was our server and she was amazing. SERVICE was really good. Ambience was cool. Very laid-back. I ordered the blazin burger with sweet potato waffle fries, and it was delicious. I also had an old granite fashioned (old fashion)and it was delish . Wife had the honey garlic chicken sandwich and a salad and she really enjoyed. We had a very nice time with all of our friends and everybody really enjoyed the food. Definitely would go back to Try some other stuff. Enjoy !!!!

Another visit to the Spot, one of our favorite casual downtown riverfront restaurants!…read more Came in for a dinner on Tuesday evening before a show at the Pioneer Center. It wasn't very crowded and our server grabbed our drink orders before we sat on the patio to help expedite the process. They always have a good selection of drafts and my wife was excited to find a sour beer was available. Our server was quick to grab our order, we overdid it a bit in hindsight :) We ordered the firecracker shrimp appetizer, the Wedge Salad, and the Chicken Gyro with Fried Pickles. Everything was great with the exeception of the fried pickles, which I wouldn't recommend. Too much fry, not enough pickle IMO. The Gyro meal itself would have been enough for both of us, but still glad we enjoyed the full spread. Can't go wrong at the spot, I will be back again soon!

AC -thank you- but not too cold. Likely understaffed for a Saturday lunch. Not surprising- isn't every place understaffed?? I was there for almost 20 minutes before I got my iced tea and wine. No water was offered. The tea tasted odd but I don't know why. The house chardonnay was ... not good. I got breakfast and other than the toast which had little or no(?) butter on it, breakfast was good. Perfect portion size. No jelly or extra butter was offered. My friend got chicken tacos which she loved! Bottom line: I will try it again but will not order the house wine and will lower my expectations regarding service.
