I was called in a little bit earlier than my actual appointment which I appreciated since I was going to be there earlier anyway. The inside was clean, they had their AC on and the standing cooler as well. It felt very chilly in there considering the 102 degrees heat right now. I came in asking for a new acrylic set on my toes. I was told no problem then another tech said "oh they're still in good condition how about a fill?" I agreed since I didn't have an appointment set. All of my toes were filled down, I was missing one acrylic toe nail completely when I came in and that's the ONLY nail they applied acrylic to. Since when is a fill just a file down and polish? They didn't even soak my toes or anything due to appointments they had set up arrive and still charged me $40. I have nails lifting already because they didn't bother to fill any nails, just repaired the one that broke and polished the rest. As a business if you don't have time to perform a service well don't take the client, plain and simple. read more

You should know I'm old and picky, and I've had maybe 2,452 pedicures. I will be back to Royal Nails. If I could give it 4 1/2 stars, that would be accurate. The drawback was the price. For $45+tip I had gel removed, a basic pedi and gel reapplied. In the before times, we got pedis for less that included hot stones and a great foot and leg massage. I had an oil massage that was just OK. This comes as no surprise, considering costs are up everywhere. But, I'm there for the toes. I do lots of stuff at home to keep my feet smooth. I want a good job removing gunk and cuticles. Hon did the BEST job ever, She took her time and I couldn't be happier. It's a friendly, clean salon with lots of regulars. It also in a great shopping area. So, now. Do I go back to regular polish to keep the cost down? Or indulge with the advantages of gel. read more
