I was in a rush to get my nails done and dropped in last minute. They were so nice to accommodate me and thoughtfully help me with choosing colors. I had mentioned I was going to a wedding and the owner/manager(?) asked me what color my dress was, what colors I was leaning towards, then gave me several options while I was sitting down to start the mani-pedi. I felt like he really cared and was patient even though I didn't have much time. Because I was in a rush, they were able to have two people working simultaneously. He also volunteered to do any touch ups should my nails have gotten dinged before the wedding, saying, "you have to look your best!" I really appreciated that. They did a great job and I made it out of there in record time. Will go back again for sure. Thanks Happy Nails!

I kept seeing rave reviews about Emma's work, so I decided to book with her and now I totally get the hype! She's incredibly talented and pays such close attention to detail, making sure the shape and size were absolutely perfect. She recommended Gel-X for my nails, and I'm officially obsessed! They feel so lightweight and natural. I'm so glad I skipped the acrylics. I showed her an inspiration photo, and she nailed it (pun fully intended). I also had my brows waxed by Emily, and she did an amazing job keeping my natural shape while cleaning everything up beautifully. The whole space has great energy with a cute flower wall and classic throwback tunes playing in the background. The vibes are truly vibing! I'll definitely be coming back as a regular.

I used to bite my nails and felt like I'd tried every type of polish and extension to no avail until I started coming here. Thanks to Sophia for taking care of my nails and providing me with what I requested. She even offered great tips on how to book the next time and how to select service add-ons. At the conclusion, I loved my nails and appreciated the policy on chipped nails and their willingness to fix it. It's a small location but very cozy and accommodating. Definitely hope to be back soon for a follow up service! FYI: I did the Gel X extensions which were $70.

I went in & was desperately hoping I cud get my one nail fixed after it chipped & split. When I…read morewent inside there was one woman working giving another customer a pedicure & manicure (which I wasn't told she would get a mani). I told the woman I had time to wait 10 min & she said come back in 5. I did she wasn't done. I told her it was only one nail & I was in a bit of a rush (graduation weekend). I went back & forth checking & waiting at least 4 to 5 times. Finally when she was ready I went it & settled in. She looked at my nail & said we don't have your color - I don't have tips, just a gel coat for my real nails. She did nit try to fix it, instead she was going to paint over it w a similar color. I told her what's the point, the color wasn't that unusual but she was adamant there was no color close to mine that she had. But I found more than one color to match & she said no, that's color for tips. I was shocked she couldn't fix it! No even a drop of glue, the polish was barely chipped & I would have put on an almost the same color but not if she could t fix the nail. It wasn't a hard fix! Then I realized she wanted to close the shop. It all sand in, she was in a rush to leave. I had totally wasted an HOUR for nothing. There was also an annoying language barrier. It was pretty bad. The salon was dated, only 2 nail desks & 4 to 5 pedi chair/tubs. I wasn't impressed by the decor. And to enter, you not only walked down 4/5 steps- but then dip & step up again to get buzzed in. With one person who's giving the mani/pedi, you're going to wait. She had to put down what she was doin to buzz me in. It was a disappointing situation. Def def would not go back. And my nails still broken! Quality of salon, poor. Entrance not easily accessible- cleanliness- subpar, friendliness- nahhh, price? She gave no service even tho I said I'd pay extra- I was goin to a graduation party. Turn around, keep walking g. There are other salons (so I'm told) on the same avenue - but I think I'll wait till I get back home- not worth the aggravation.

I'm a guy that occasionally enjoys a spa/deluxe pedicure which relaxes me sometimes as much as a…read morefull body massage. I've tried this service at many nail salons in Arlington (and there seems to be one or two on every corner) and I can tell you that the overall experience and quality of service varies greatly. Thus, my experience with the Deluxe Pedicure at Yorktown Nails was top-notch in every way this morning. Allow me to elaborate: First, I chose Yorktown Nails based on the number of positive reviews here on Yelp. So I thought I'd give them a try. I called at 9:30 am and let them know I'd arrive at 10 am. They were gracious and accommodating - so, I did not need an appointment. With that much lead time, I will call myself a walk-in client. The Deluxe Pedicure by Lin was fantastic. Before I provide a few details as to why allow me to state that my comparisons are 1) a stupendous experience in St. Lucia at The Body Holiday Spa which lingers in my mind and 2) another excellent spa pedicure experience at the Hibiscus Spa at the Marriott Westin in Grand Cayman. For both of these, the cost was more than double that of Yorktown Nails. Thus, the value of their service is positioned nicely. The Yorktown Nails Deluxe Pedicure was all that anyone could hope for in my opinion. All of the elements were executed in a top-notch manner. It lasted for almost a full hour and there was no rushing by Lin. As I drifted off onto another plane of pleasure, I can recall that the number of gels and creams applied were numerous and her attention to detail to my nails, cuticles and heels was memorable. It was the kind of experience wherein when it was over Lin had to tap me to bring me back to the reality of my existence. I was in another place but I did have to move on with my day. Alas, I can say that I will be back to Yorktown Nails if for no other reason than to see if this ethereal experience can be duplicated even if only partially. Thus, I would wholeheartedly recommend that you, mostly ladies, of course, give Yorktown Nails a try. If a mundane guy like me found it to be a great experience, then perhaps so will you.
