This is become my go to nail salon! The pedicure is amazing. Square a little bit and get one of the specialty pedicures and you'll won't regret it. I haven't been to a nail salon that provides paraffin wax as a service for their pedicures and that's a nice addition. Simple manicures are also great here. The only issue I run into is that not a lot of the employees can do nail designs. That made my most recent experience, pretty challenging but overall, I won't complain too much. read more

This place was incredible! I am going on a very special trip to Disney with my family soon and Tina was just the sweetest! She was so patient with me and did exactly what I wanted on my nails. She had one of the other techs help her when she couldn't get a part exactly right. I appreciated that so much. The salon itself is relaxing and has a boutique feel with beautiful chandeliers scattered around their ceiling. I would absolutely go back and would highly recommend their services! All I have to say about this place is amen and thank you. I have autism so I don't do well with change. So a big huge tip at least for me is if you have autism or the person that you are going with has autism book ahead of time and book that nail technician that you or your loved one is used to having i know I did that and now that's the only way I do nail appointments here. I started out with Gina because she was very calm and quiet she treated me really well and made sure she whispered to me instead of yelling she also gave me 1 or two step instructions that i could actually understand instead of mumbling and going all over the place with it. When she no longer worked for royal nails I had sue and she had a similar kind of personality to Gina very calm and quiet only saying things that I could understand like " wash your hands please when she was going to help me wash my hands or finished when I was all done. I had to write a review because Selene did a fantastic job on my nails. She was very gentle as i have been to other places and have been cut on my fingers. The review is low and only 2 stars because I did not expect to pay $120 (with an extra $10 tip) just for acrylic, medium length, french tip nails and some stickers!! I'm sorry but that is crazy to me. I knew they were closing soon but the guy working there took my card so fast I barely had a chance to ask why it was so much money. I thought I saw online that the price was $60. I probably won't come back here again, I honestly think I should have paid at the MOST, $80 there. I drive from South County to Warwick for this place (this is a big deal if you're a true Rhody). They have a huge wall of color to chose from. If I could rate as a zero I would! Made an appointment a month in advance for my sister, daughter, and neice to have Manis, pedis, and a full dip set for My Wedding the next day. (6-26-21) The entire time we were rushed. I didn't even get to sit with my girls while we were there. As a matter of fact I didn't sit in a chair until they were all done. As soon as I sat in the car and really looked at my nails, I noticed immediately that they were trash. All of the tips underneath were cracking. A few hours later, I had a medical emergency with my son. I went to the ER with him and by this time my nails were already splitting and the tips literally snapping off making sharp edges and a nuisance. I called the owner and she told me to come in I explained why I couldn't as I was in the E.R. She insisted that she fixed them and I told her that there was no way for me to get there to have them fixed before my wedding. She wanted me to come the next morning, at 930 when my hair and makeup apt was at 10!! I couldn't. Flash forward to today, 3 days later, they are refusing to reimburse me. I've been going to Royal nails for maybe 5 years now and I will never go anywhere else. I've never had bacterial issues with my nails or felt uncomfortable with the cleanliness whatsoever. When looking for someone who can really do it all, I HIGHLY recommend Jessica. She is absolutely phenomenal and NEVER disappoints. (I almost don't want to name drop because she's already busy enough as it is!!) my mom goes to Amy and loves going to her for designs or just whatever nails she's getting next. I will never go here again! This was my second time giving this place a chance. A few years ago myself and a few girlfriends went after work. My friends were getting pedicures and gel mani's, while I was only getting a gel mani. The guy who did my nails took SO long that my friends were done with both of their services before me! A few days ago I decided to try this place again because I had heard some good reviews, but shame on me. I had 2 hours before I had to go back to work so I thought I would be in and out in an hour or so, like at other places. My appointment was for a polish change on my toes and an acrylic fill. The gentleman could not understand what I was saying about my color. I told him the number of the polish and he was confused right away. Another worker had to come over and help him understand. While doing my polish change I asked him to cut my toe nails before painting them, which has always been included in a polish change at every other nail salon I've been to - but was told when I was cashing out that it was $3 more for cutting the nails. The polish change took forever and again, I should have just left after that. Then I sat down for my fill the guy drilled my nails for at least 40 minutes. He also kept hitting my finger tip with the drill which burns!! I was getting confused because I've never had them drilled so much for a fill! Again, he did not understand one word I said when I asked him if he knew I was getting a fill. Other workers had to keep coming over to translate. Finally he filled with acrylic and they were so thick and bumpy. I asked him to smooth them out and again- he didn't know what I was saying so another girl came over, reached over him and tried to fix it. Which it did nothing. He filed them and they were all so slanted and crooked. I asked him to file them to make them straight and he had no clue what I was saying. I had to take the file to show him and he still didn't get it. I finally had enough and was about to walk out. An older woman came over and took over to file them and paint them. The guy was so mad he was yelling in his language to the other workers while looking right at me, so clearly he was talking about me - which really I didn't even care. I never usually speak up or complain but this was something out of the twilight zone. The woman was nice but they still look terrible. They are so thick and crooked. It took almost 2 hours to do my services. I barely made it back to work on time. I highly doubt this man was licensed as he had no clue what he was doing. I 0/10 recommend this place. I will NEVER go back!!! read more

This salon is very hit or miss. I will say, each time the experience is quite relaxing, however the quality of the manicure or pedicure itself varies. The last time I came in, I got the relax spa pedicure. It was hard to tell while I was there, but as soon as I came home, I noticed huge bubbles in the polish on my toes.
