    Crispy Fish Tacos
    Linda R.

Four of us for dinner on a Monday night. Great parking, which is a huge bonus. Big lot out back. We sat in a booth. All the booths are designed to seat six so it was roomy but surprisingly difficult to hear each other. The restaurant interior has a lot of concrete and hard surfaces so the noise level was higher than expected for so few patrons. Food was delicious. We all had the Spicy tuna tartare to start. It was huge and really fresh. It was also pretty spicy so beware if you don't like spice. I had the fish tacos (2 to a serving) and loved them. Sizable serving and I liked the toppings of guac and house made salsa. Others had the scallops over pasta and also loved it. Dessert was shared by the four of us: banana cream pie. Big and delicious. They had some nice IPAs on tap and a good by the glass wine selection. Service was also good- well paced.

So fresh, so delicious!! We got the: -Crispy tempura maitake mushrooms: tasty but a little heavily breaded -Lager steamed mussels: the star dish of the night!! The mussels were so so fresh and the broth was so delicious. Loved dipping the sourdough into it -Fried Calamari: crispy and super fresh calamari. I would definitely order this again -Housemade Bucatini: I wasn't a fan of this dish it was very sour. We didn't eat much of this at all. -Pan seared fluke: this was the best plate we had. The fluke was very tasty and the vegetables were fresh. I loved the mushrooms. -Grilled salmon: fish was fresh but I didn't love the bed of mixed grains. -Tuna Poke Bowl: delicious! -Corn bread: yummy, maple butter was a nice touch -Waffle fries -Banoffee Pie: so delicious, I would order a whole pie again. Overall, the plates are hit or miss. Seafood on top is always good but the flavors or sides are okay. Service was great and the restaurant was nice.

The food was pretty good but way overpriced. I had the tuna poke bowl and it was good. The menu did have a lot of variety and the drink selection was great! I went with a friend for dinner tonight and our waitress was nice. I highly recommend the bread rolls!

This was our first time at Row 34 to celebrate our elopement, and we were so lucky to have Astry serving our table for the night! Astry knew every item on the menu and how they were made, which helped us understand and make better decisions as first timers - & everything we ordered was delicious! We really enjoyed the lager steamed Maine mussels, and we even got the juice to go so we could dip our breads in it back at home both the fishes were amazing as well and were paired nicely with legumes fit for spring, and I loved that they swap out the menu for each season. We completed our dinner with banoffee pie (thanks to Yelpies recommendation!) and it did not disappoint. We were kindly offered complimentary drinks to go with it for our little celebration. We had no trouble making reservation day of on a weeknight and it was a very nice atmosphere, where we could enjoy our meal and hear each other talk throughout the night. Thank you Row 34 for the great night!

Great date night dinner at Row 34. The $1 HH oysters were a phenomenal deal for Boston area, and super fresh and quality. We also went with the Mussels which were delicious. What really made the dinner though was the service from Kendra! She was super friendly and attentive, and made sure to take care of us through the entire meal. Can't recommend Row 34 more if you're looking for some fresh seafood!

I have been to row 34 many times before, but never this location. This location also brings a great menu with great ambience and a lovely staff. We started off with the tuna tartare. The portion was huge and as always - delicious! For dinner we tried the scallops with spaghetti and it was incredible. I really was not expecting it to be as good as it was. I will have to go back for more! For dessert we had the banana pie. Again - oh my goodness it was amazing. Highly recommend. Always a great night at row 34.

We came here for Dine Out Boston and it was so much food! We got mussels as an additional appetizer and it was absolutely delicious. The flavor of the sauce was perfect and there were so many mussels! The herb crusted haddock was perfectly cooked, loved the bed of lentils. Definitely would get it again. My fiance got the salmon and the flavor was good, but I preferred the haddock. The desserts were amazing, I was especially loving the butterscotch pudding.

    Seafood Stew

7 PM reservations on a Thursday night. The place is kind of noisy and tables are close together. My friend and I ordered seafood stew and a scallops pasta dish. While there were plenty of muscle SHELLS in my stew, there were no muscles inside or otherwise incorporated in my meal. It was otherwise just OK. Certainly nothing I'd order again. Friend's pasta clearly said bay scallops so she was prepared for small, but they were darn near undetectable. Cappuccinos came out cold like tap water. Sent back, they were clearly microwaved. A different server came by to offer a redo, claiming to be an expert, and by golly she delivered a fresh, hot, delicious cappuccino to my friend, and took both caps off the bill. Frankly that's why I rated three stars vs two. I'm sure if either of us had complained about the food, they would have addressed it, but it was all about being disappointed in what we got, not that what we got was bad.

Went here with a colleague and absolutely loved it. Had to try the Row 34 oysters. They were from Duckbury (?)--a very exclusive area and they were delicious along with the yummy sauces. We were hesitant to try the whole fish since they said it isn't filet'ed before it got to the table but my colleague did a fabulous job with it. Great flavor! Brussel sprouts were also very amazing and crispy. I had no idea they typically are fried in a fryer? I didn't ask here but either was, total Yums all around. Vey hip lighting and set-up. We sat on the high tops closer to the bar area and the high energy was uplifting. Server was fabulous. Would definitely go again...

Feels upscale and professional yet relaxed feel inside. Seafood tastes fresh but the lobster roll wasn't as big as I thought it would be.

been here a few times. nice ambiance. service is always professional. haven't had a bad meal. the menu changes slightly each time. had a few appetizers here including the crab cake, charcuterie board, beet salad, shrimp cocktail, and of course, raw oysters. the entrees are always really fresh, flavorful, and well balanced. some of the dishes we had have been the handmade noodles, risotto, monkfish, seafood stew. desserts - haven't had a bad one yet. again everything is fresh and tasty.

    Amy H.

The lobster roll was excellent--perfectly prepared and flavorful. The raw oysters were incredibly fresh and a real highlight. Overall, a great dining experience, and I'll definitely be back.

Will definitely be coming back for dinner again soon!

In a single word....incredible!…read more Post 1917 opened its second location in the heart of Lexington. Service can sometimes be a foot note in a review but I'm starting with it. Service here is top notch. From the minute you enter until the moment you leave. Stellar. Our waiter, Luis, was among the top 5 servers I've had in my life. He was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and had the long list of delicious sounding specials memorized. He walked me through the entire menu and recommended the items he thought I might like. And he nailed it. The guy was phenomenal. Clone this man and sell him to other restaurants. Wow. Flawless service from this gentleman. This kind of service is rare. He's the guy you expect at a high end establishment. I can't say enough about him. I promise I'm not related to him, he was just so good I needed to call it out. Post does so many things so well. Steaks! Perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked. The Long Bone (as they call it) came out cooked to the ideal color at the requested temp. Spot on. It had a side of 4 sauces to sample, each one unique and bursting with flavor. The steak was so juicy, it didn't need sauce, but you will need to try them anyway. Blue cheese butter? Yes please. Chef Jason knows steaks and it's a fact that cannot be denied. This is his second Post 1917 restaurant. The staff is well trained and it shows. Everyone seems so passionate about their job here. It shows in the food and the experience. The crab cakes, suggested by Luis, we're so good. More crab than cake, which meant you get alot of crab in every bite. Another perfect execution. Moist and flavorful. It's a must try. The wedge salad is a steakhouse staple and Post 1917 nails it. High quality blue cheese and fresh lettuce with bacon and tomato. Simple but awesome. Dessert was a key lime cheesecake. You can see and taste the key lime zest. I could have eaten 2 of these if I hadn't filled up on steak. The menu has steaks and seafood mainly, but they seem to do it all to perfection. I saw other dishes leave the kitchen and they all made me wish I ordered the whole menu. There was a seafood paella which looked like something I must try. The interior is huge and very well decorated. It feels so open and inviting. Overall... an easy 5 star restaurant. You need to go here. Take your friends. Take your family. Take your date. Post 1917 is what Lexington has been missing. Service is a shining star here.

Casual dining about on par with your local Applebee's…read more Vibe: Bar and lots of seating including an area that can be curtained off presumable for private events, overall casual family friendly vibe. Service: Good, fast, pleasant Food: The Asian beef tacos which were fine, came with 3 tacos, heavy on the filling, flavors were so-so. The chocolate cake was a layered cake, the ganache was good, could have used more strawberry slices to cut through the richness. Drinks: The Raspberry lime rickey mocktail was perfectly sweet and sour, tasted like candy. Value: Tacos were $18, for the quality I would say that these were overpriced. The cake was a good portion for desert and was $9. Other: The bathroom was dark, could improve in the lighting. Obviously more a customer issue and could have gone between cleanings but there was shredded paper towels scattered on the ground. Overall this wasn't a bad meal by any means, just overpriced for basic food.

There are three key elements to a successful, well-rounded Yelp review--food, service, and…read moreambiance--and Krave earned a gold star in every single one. The food was nothing short of exceptional. Both simple and deeply nuanced, every dish I tried offered a fresh, elevated take on a familiar favorite. Each bite was packed with flavor, making for a truly memorable dining experience. The shrimp tacos, for instance, were a seafood lover's dream--perfectly grilled shrimp paired with crisp, fresh vegetables and a creamy taco sauce, all wrapped in warm tortillas filled to the brim. As for the mozza balls, they were a revelation. Hot and crispy on the outside, generously dusted with fresh Parmesan, and bursting with rich, creamy mozzarella inside. The crust was so perfectly crunchy that even Sonic's legendary mozzarella sticks would have some serious competition. These golden bites of cheesy perfection were nothing short of divine. The fried shrimp were enormous and cooked to absolute perfection, encased in a flavorful, perfectly crispy batter. They were incredible on their own--so much so that the accompanying dipping sauce, while a nice touch, was completely unnecessary. The bruschetta was warm and fluffy, topped with juicy, perfectly ripened tomatoes and a generous handful of fresh, peppery arugula, all drizzled with rich, warm olive oil. There was plenty to share--but it was so good, you wouldn't want to. The food was so insanely good that I was kraving more before I even made it home--seriously, I considered turning the car around halfway just for another bite. The service was top-notch from the moment we sat down. Our server greeted us before we even had our chairs pulled out, welcomed us to Krave, handed us menus, and took our drink orders right away. She was back quickly with full glasses and a friendly smile. When we ordered appetizers, she kept us updated on their progress, making sure we never had to wonder when they'd arrive. Attentive, efficient, and genuinely welcoming--it doesn't get much better than that. She kept that same level of service throughout our entire visit--never missing a beat. Our glasses stayed full, our table stayed clear, and we never had to ask for a thing. This was the kind of service that makes you want to tip extra extra. The ambiance was perfect--Krave has the chill vibe down to a science. Relaxed atmosphere, great lighting, comfy seating, and just the right level of background noise to keep things lively without being overwhelming. If my kids hadn't been with me, I could've easily made myself at home at the bar for the afternoon. Overall, it was a great experience from start to finish. I usually try to visit a new restaurant every time I go out, just to keep things interesting. But Krave might have just messed up that plan--it's definitely earned a spot on my list of go-to places.
