Great service, friendly atmosphere, large portions. Definitely recommend supporting local businesses

I wish I could report on the food - I never got that far to order it. I called, was promptly put on hold, and left to wait, and wait and wait until the call dropped. I heard they don't love tourists, and I guess I believe it now. read more

First off I'll start by saying that I WILL come back and try breakfast sometime. However, after hearing so many great things, my expectations were a little higher than what we experienced. Our server didn't write anything down when taking our order, repeated one meal back wrong, then came back 2 minutes later to confirm one of the four entrees again, which she didn't "memorize" correctly so I'm glad she did. We order two drinks while the other two in our party settled for water. 15 minutes later we had to ask about the beer and the soda, assuming they were forgotten. One meal still came out with the wrong choice of potatoes. Just write things down.... You're not impressing anyone by memorizing orders and getting them wrong. We split the fried pickles and jalapeños (not pictured), and they were ok. The breading wasn't as crispy as we've had at other places, but it was plenty to share among four people. The crispy chicken sandwich and JoJos were great! The $31 Smokehouse sampler, was not. Avoid this entree, all of the meat was dried out. All of it, none of the meat options were good. Baked beans from a can, but the slaw and cornbread were ok. They did offer a free dessert, since we were celebrating a birthday. Every option looked great, we opted for turtle cheesecake and it was good. Looking forward to giving them a second chance for breakfast and hopefully updating this review then. read more

Great food and coffee! Went there not knowing what to expect. The service is great. We each ordered something different and were pleasantly surprised at how large the servings were. There was enough to eat and then take home the rest of it for later. The coffee is good to and they came around often enough to keep the coffee cups full. I highly recommend this restaurant! read more

We came here for lunch today after going to the pumpkin patch it was a nice like surprise Very delicious Nice atmosphere Great lunch read more

This place is pretty cool. It's a bar but they also sell brunch. I had their homemade pancakes, eggs, bacon, and fully loaded hash browns. There were two pancakes and they were huge. I couldn't even finish one but they were good. I thought the fully loaded hash browns were okay to me. I should've just gotten normal hash browns but that's just my personal taste. Our waiter was kind and she made sure we had everything we needed. If you like a big breakfast you should check this spot out. read more

I was looking for a BBQ place between Albany and Portland and the Route 99 restaurant was recommended. I ordered the 99 Grill and a Brisket Dip and that was the best brisket my wife and I have ever had. The facility looked great and the staff was very friendly. I unfortunately had to get take out but will come back to dine in. I ordered 30 October 2024. read more

The food was excellent and the customer service was excellent. I am definitely a returning customer.

Their food is amazing! We typically go for breakfast and the chicken fried steak is the best around! Team that up with the potato's, crispy and add Cajun, yum! The lunch and dinner items we have tried have all been great as well! read more

The service is great. The food has been hit and miss for us. Really nice sized portions. Bloody Mary is strong which I appreciate! I would go for breakfast, not for dinner. read more

Absolutely loved my breakfast! The chicken and biscuits has everything I love about breakfast food, and that potato pancake was ballin! Yummy, I'd highly recommend it. You gotta treat yourself sometimes lol. Great service as well, we didn't have to ask for anything because our amazing waitress was already 5 steps ahead, never let the coffee or water get below half, a truly superior experience. read more

Found this place while on a road trip. Everything was AMAZING! The place was clean and had fun decor. Lots of tv's for watching sports if that's what you're looking for. Food came out pretty fast. We got the special of the day: "Corned Beef Breakfast Fries- corned beef, onions, bell peppers, mushrooms, brown gravy, pepper jack on a pile of fries + choice of eggs & toast," and the "Cowboy Brisket Skillet." The portions are so large, I got 4 meals out of 1 breakfast. I hope I'm driving through here again because I'd love to come back. read more

The menu says 1/2 rack of ribs, what I recieved was more like a 1/4 rack.of ribs. The ribs were good. The sauce was pretty so-so.

Eaten here twice. Food is excellent and prices are very fair. The service was great. Will definitely go back!

Breakfast can't get any better! Huge homemade portions. You won't leave hungry! Service is also welcoming and friendly! I love it when coffees and waters stay filled. read more

This place came highly recommended, but overall was pretty disappointing. Our server took orders from tables that arrived after us before she took ours. Seemed like it took forever for our food to arrive and everything was barely warm, having obviously been ready long before it was delivered. Aside from the temperature and generally poor service, the food had good flavor and portions were generous. Not sure we'll be back.. read more

Excellent food! We love their breakfast! Dinner is wonderful too. Lots of choices. Service is excellent.

Absolutely awesome! The staff were very friendly, and the food was really good. Can't recommend Route 99 enough.

Good portions. Good variety. Good service. Good meal after church on Sundays. Closes at 2:00 on Sunday.

So everything was amazing. The pic doesn't do the hand breaded chicken tenders and jojos justice. Even their honey mustard is way above average. Strawberry marg made by 2 different people outstanding both times. I like that sh*t. Thanks for making my 2 hour mama break memorable, can't wait to bring my little one! read more

Stopped by for breakfast yesterday after a few failed attempts previously. First, excellent food! I had the chicken & biscuit, which included sausage gravy, cheese, bacon, and an egg. Delicious, and enough for leftovers. Second, customer service was great. They are making the best of a bad situation, and the friendliness of the staff was appreciated. We were initially seated at a table that with chairs that weren't the correct height (I know, that sounds nitpicky, but we couldn't fit our legs under the table and had to sit sideways, not a comfortable way to have a meal.) However, when I asked staff about another table, there weren't any available, but she brought over a very comfortable office-type chair, which she said came from the video poker room that wasn't currently in use, so it was no problem. A reasonable price for great food and great staff. Yeah, we'll be back. read more

I had heard good things about Route 99 so I had to check it out. It totally lived up to expectations. It's easy to find just off I-5 at Brooks. Great menu selection. What an amazing transformation from iggy's to Route 99! The restaurant / bar seems very well laid out for social distancing during the Covid 19 pandemic and 99 percent of folks were wearing face coverings. My friend and I opted for the out door seating where there were ceiling heaters. above us. I won't lie, it was a chilly fall afternoon and we could have dressed warmer and Definitely will next time as we follow the CDC guide lines in order to stay safe while enjoying a lunch out. As a vulnerable senior citizen, we take precautions against Covid 19. The food was more than ample and tasty! Last, the gals who seated and served us were as friendly as could be making this outing over the top for a couple of old bags. 5 stars for service and ambiance. 3 stars for food. =4 stars Food is bland and heavy on meats. I have enjoyed spinach salad with the smoked salmon. More fish, shrimp or vegetarian options would be nice. Eaten there multiple times and can't seem to get a nicely toasted club. Batter falls off the fish with their fish n chips, waffle fries are consistently limp even when asked for them crispy, and the pecan pie tasted as though it was a cheap Sara Lee pie served with canned whipped cream. read more

I've been here twice now. The food was excellent. The first time here I had a burger and fries. The burger was cooked perfectly and was very good. The fries were nothing extraordinary, but were good. The services great too. It's a cool atmosphere, even though it's currently only outdoor seating due to Covid. On my second trip, I had the spinach artichoke dip with garlic bread. That was great. The service was not quite as good this time, but they were also busier than the last time. I'll definitely be back for more. read more

We went with another couple and all of us agreed that their food was fantastic! I had the brisket dip with Jo jos and both were great. Hubby and I saw this restaurant last weekend on our way home from Mt Hood. We decided to give it a try today for breakfast. He ordered the chicken fried steak breakfast and I settled on the breakfast quesadilla. Both had a tremendous amount of food. The chicken fried steak was the thickest I've ever seen (in a restaurant or a grocery store) and was slathered with country gravy. It came with eggs, choice of potatoes and toast or biscuit. He took half of it home. For the breakfast quesadilla I chose brisket instead of pulled pork and omitted the bell peppers. It came with sour cream, guacamole and salsa and a choice of potatoes. The quesadilla was also pretty thick and I only ate 1/4 of it. It was amazing. I'm usually not a big fan of any meat at breakfast but this was definitely a good choice. We both had coffee and that was perfect as well, bold and not bitter. In my opinion, the quality of the coffee can make or break a place; this place passed that test with flying colors. We are both looking forward to returning for lunch or dinner and trying something in the bar Our server was very attentive and sweet. All in all, we enjoyed our visit! Two thumbs up! read more
