Seared Ahi Tuna special with white rice lemon and tarragon was absolutely delicious. Now to their famous french fries. Do not pass go. Order them take home the leftovers. Oh boy so yummy. Cooked perfectly. Entering the restaurant you think your entering a liquor store. On your right are tables, bar seating and tables in a separate room on left. Private parking. Must enjoy this place and stop in for dinner.

We stopped by for lunch shortly after arriving for our OCMD beach weekend and were thoroughly impressed by the caliber of food LA is dishing out. What started as a liquor store with a bar has evolved into a seriously good restaurant that stands out from the usual beach fare. Our table of four shared a bunch of small plates and a few larger dishes. We tried the steamed mussels, buffalo wings, tuna crisps, baked oysters, short rib pot pie, and Kung Pao calamari. The rich short rib pot pie was excellent, and we loved the baked oysters with aged cheddar, honey chipotle, and fresh chimichurri. Our favorite was the Kung Pao calamari, which had a great sweet Asian heat that made it a fun spin on the classic. We also ordered a round of cocktails, with the bourbon and whiskey based drinks being the favorites. The Wild Fashioned was especially good. Another great perk is that dining guests receive 10 percent off purchases from the attached liquor store. We happily took advantage and stocked up on Willett bourbon and Clase Azul tequila for the rest of the beach weekend. Overall, Liquid Assets is a great place to come for a drink or three with some elevated bites, especially when you are ready for a break from typical beach food. We will definitely be back.

Our main motivation for visiting was to see Jordan and Cowan, both of whom previously worked at Off The Hook in Bethany Beach. Jordan noticed us first and came over to say hello and share an update, and Cowan followed shortly after to do the same. I enjoyed two Sazeracs on the rocks for $10 each; unique to Hooked, this iconic New Orleans cocktail is a spirit-forward blend of Elijah Craig rye whiskey, aromatic bitters, a sugar cube, and an absinthe rinse, finished with a bright lemon twist. We also shared the happy hour wood-fired grilled oysters Reggiano with butter, garlic, blackening parmesan cheese, and salt for $19, though they tasted very salty. Additionally, I had the happy hour lobster roll on a toasted buttered brioche roll for $21, substituting the french fries with a side of coleslaw. It tasted quite similar to the lobster roll at Off The Hook in Bethany Beach. I finished my meal with a happy hour draft Evo Lot 3 beer for $6. Our bartender, Jon L., served us very well throughout the visit. The total bill was $128 excluding gratuity, which featured a 3% credit card surcharge of $3.57. After applying a $50 gift letter discount, the final bill was reduced down to $81. We all agreed that we will certainly return to visit Jordan and Cowan again.

The food, however, was delicious! The portions are ginormous, so come hungry or be prepared to take leftovers home. Everything we had was flavorful and satisfying. The monkey bread is so delicious along with their own coffee. Plenty of parking in their private lot. The restroom was clean and well maintained. There is a gift store and bakery at the lower level and the restaurant is on the second floor. Overall, despite the slower service, we really enjoyed the food and the friendly atmosphere. The huge portions and delicious breakfast make it worth a visit!

They start you off with some complimentary monkey bread which was pretty tasty. It was like little cinnamon bun donut holes. My husband and I shared the burger for breakfast item which came on top of a tortilla with eggs and tots. It also came with some breakfast potatoes. It was nice of them to split the meal for us into two separate plates. It stated that our meal came with some salsa, but it seemed very light on the dish since it seemed pretty plain. My FIL asked for their specialty hot sauce and the server said he would bring it upstairs in a little bit. By the time FIL was halfway done with this meal, he was informed they were out. They have a small little gift shop downstairs with their monkey logo on a majority of items there. Parking seemed like it might be troublesome; we were dropped off near the front.

The conch fritters were crispy on the outside, tender inside, and paired perfectly with the tangy citrus mustard dipping sauce. The burgers were juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right, while the Crispy Fish BLT delivered a crunchy, flaky fish fillet with fresh lettuce, tomato, and crispy bacon on a torpedo roll. I also really love their fries! My husband got the Stonejack baller, it was really good as well. The portions were generous, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the inlet views made the meal even better. It's a great place to enjoy good food while taking in one of the best waterfront views in Ocean City. We came also perfect timing as they have a band singing. The only few complains I have was we waited for few minutes even they were a lot of available tables outside (not sure why-maybe reservation?) also our waitress gave us all drinks except for one, and it also took few minutes before she came back for that drink. No biggie, she seems new and nice. Also some drinks were a but water down. Will definitely be back but might try other place around as well.

I got into OC at 2005 and was told by Primos they closed at 2000 and wouldn't serve me. So I wanted to try Fast Eddie's and went there. Lex checked to see if it ok to grab something to eat and let me in since it was empty and they were cleaning up. They were so nice and I know it was slow but they gave great service and the smash burger was great. Tonight was a late dinner so I walked over and was happy to find out on Sundays their happy hour specials are all day (at least right now) so I got buffalo wings (they were very large) and a smash burger with a side of onion rings. They were all amazing. Paige was there again and I mentioned the other night to Erika and how great it is to have customer service at that caliber. Definitely check this place out.

We arrived around 6 on a Saturday night and the place is busy (it always is). We are greeted in an ok time, it took longer than ever before (and we've been there when it's been busier). The young lady greeted us, took our order and left. We ordered boneless wings, fries, crab cakes, and soup. She came back about 5 mins later and said they sold out of crab cakes. I get it's the off season, but there really is no off season at Fast Eddies. So we ordered something significantly cheaper from the menu. When the food came out, it was just ok. My boneless wings were way overdone and the crab burger was just ok. When the check came, it seemed to be a little high, like she never adjusted the pricing from the crab cake dinner. We never received the itemized receipt and after she dropped the slip to sign, we didn't see her again. So we just signed the receipt and left, as we had plans to get to. I don't know if we'll be back to be completely honest.
