First off THANK YOU Ray (Manager) for making things right. Round Table has always been my favorite pizza joint....ever since I was in elementary school and had a huge one near me. My friends and I would often get small pizzas and waste our allowance money on coin op games. Now that I'm older I like to think I have a more refined taste, coin op games were a thing of the past, so I get pizzas at Round Table 9 times out of 10, office parties and other gatherings where I have no control over is where Dominos, Papa Johns and Pizza Hut is consumed...Pieology would be an exception since it's close to work. Anyway, this review is not about the food specifically...it's for the exceptional service and AFTER service I got from management. I ordered my usual pizza and wings, half Guinever's veggie and half Chicken & Garlic with 24 bone-in sauce less wings. I was told it would take 12 minutes which ended up being closer to 30 minutes, I didn't mind too much since I gave myself 45 minutes to get off work and pick up food for the family. Upon receiving the pizza and wings, Ray popped out from the the kitchen and handed me a "VIP Pass" that's essentially BOGO free as an apology for the longer than usual wait. Didn't need it, but very kind gesture. When I got home to the family, I discovered that the wings were drenched with buffalo sauce which wouldn't be too big of a problem normally, but my daughter and wife doesn't eat anything spicy and I generally don't like buffalo sauce because of the vinegar. I was pretty pissed off and not in the mood to call them or go back, I felt like I failed my daughter who actually loves the wings and asked me to get it. My wife being a much more gentle hearted and calm person called and spoke to Ray who remembered me and apologized for the mix up... 30 minutes later we got a delivery of the wings that my daughter wanted. Ray also included two more VIP Passes for a free large pizza of my choice and 24 free wings! What a great way to keep angry customers happy. Little did he know I would've been back no matter what...but I'm definitely double, triple checking the food before walking out the door. For anyone interested in what I did with that sauced wing, check out the pictures I posted. I literally boiled the sauce off the wings twice with water and pan seared it, still too spicy for the kid and wife, but I plan to eat it all over the weekend. Stay away alert! We ordered pizza tonight as a treat for my 2 kids. They had been looking forward to it all week. I placed the order at 4:32 PM because they are young and eat early. The pizza took over an hour to arrive, showing up half-cold, uncooked, and chewy. But the worst part was the massive, grotesque chunks of meat scattered all over the pizza. They were so huge that an adult could have easily choked on them, let alone little kids. Absolutely disgusting--a total waste of life and money. I called the restaurant and spoke with a rude person (not sure if he was the owner or not, I could barely understand him). I was told that the cooking time for the pizza was normal considering the business (no one else was there), and that meat is meat, no matter the size or kind. What a jokester! No refund. No apology. Nothing. Horrible service, horrible food, nasty dirty tables, and a filthy restaurant. A complete disregard for customer satisfaction. I will never order from this place again. Yuck. read more

Just spent another awesome dinner at this fine pizza hub. I take that back, this fine family friendly restaurant. I've come to this place 2 years in a row to celebrate the establishment's anniversary. Have come back a few times here and there. I don't live near Tustin, but enjoy the atmosphere, staff, food, and service. Pros : Owner David cares a lot from the way he engages with the guests and staff. You can tell he loves running this place. It shows in the enthusiasm from his quality staff. I recognize a few from over a year ago, so that's a good sign staff stays around. Service is quick, and food delivered hot and fresh. Each staff knew their roles, and did their job with pride. Games and prizes for kids were just perfect. Everything worked fine, nothing overwhelming, and the family had fun. Cons : Wish I lived closer to this place. My family would come to this location more frequently if closer. Bonus for having a good magician doing balloon animals, magic tricks, and balloon animals. Kids enjoyed that. Bonus for having the Italian shaved ice. Perfect for a warm day. read more

Okay, full disclaimer, I did not eat anything when I was here the other day but they're still so amazing that they deserve five stars. I recently volunteered at a back to school event hosted by Operation Warm Wishes held in their restaurant. There was an insane amount of people that filled their pizza parlor for several hours and the staff handled it wonderfully. Incredibly helpful, on top of everything, great attitudes, and finding out they even donated some of their services was icing in the cake. Thank you so much for your hard work! For $15 you get a quality salad bar with a variety of fresh ingredients, choice of several dressings including cruets of oil and vinegar. A variety of pizzas are continuously coming out for you to choose, from a works pizza, to pepperoni, to Hawaiian, barbecue chicken, to all veggie pizza, and more. We have the best Round Table Pizza ever! They have the kindest people working here. My daughter loves coming here and I can't imagine why! lol The owner and manager gave my 3 year old some tokens and helped her play the games. Good grub but nothing over the top. So if you are from Chicago or NYC do not bother. Now if you have many kids in your tribe and you are in a budget then this is for you. They do offer a private room for special events. Pitcher deals do cardboard games to play all while you wait for your pizza. My family and our rugrats enjoyed the salad bar with pizza. Arcade room with prices to choose from. Laura was kind and attentive to our needs and for that I feel pretty good about returning with my tribe. During Friday pick dinner time it does get slam busy with families and lots of kids. I found the entire restaurant and arcade sparkling cleaned and organized. We can't thank our neighborhood Round Table Pizza enough for supporting Tustin Pony Baseball this evening! It was our first time in this evening to enjoy a warm pie, cold pitcher of Modelo and the Monday Night Football game while supporting baseball programs right here in the City of Tustin. My kids were amazed at the plethora of video games, and even a ticketing booth in the back for redemption of tickets. They use a high tech card based token and ticket process similar to Dave + Busters. And by the looks of the Tillers Pennats, trophies, and numerous smiles of sports teams decorating the walls here, Tustin Round Table remains the ideal venue for youth sports teams and families alike. Located conveniently off Newport ave at the 5 Freeway, it's strategically centrally located between North + South Orange County. Fresh flaky crust, all natural cheese and ingredients and one of the best buffet salad bars I've seen at a local pizza joint in quite some time. Was just here last Friday & I was pleased with my lunch. My mom had mentioned before to go in during Lunch time for Unlimited Salad Bar & Pizza slices. It was so great. I had a lovely salad to my choosing and 3 pizza slices (that were small but very delish). I was on a call when I first stepped in but I did here the staff being very welcoming to everyone who entered. It felt like most of the people who came in were regulars and were known by the lovely staff. I enjoyed my meal, all to myself and then returned to work. I am a frequent round table pizza consumer and let me tell you, not all round tables are the same. I normally order the gourmet veggie pizza from the RTP in Santa Ana on 17th street and love the amount of toppings they put on the pizza. The sauce is flavorful, the crust is crispy and delicious, and they do NOT skimp on quality ingredients. I was in the area and decided to order pickup from this round table in tustin and was heavily dismayed. The pizza was undercooked (all the tomatoes looked fresh like they had just been cut, not like they had been in the oven - and same with the zucchini. The sauce/cheese was way less flavorful and I can't figure out why, and the crust was underwhelming. I ended up putting it back in the oven to actually cook it when I got home but was disappointed, as the RTP in Santa Ana had my expectations high. No matter where we have lived the Round Table has been consistently the best. At the Tustin Round Table we have enjoyed eating in, take out and delivery. All good options. Round Table is more expensive than most but you definitely get what you pay for. My wife loves the gourmet veggie and I love the double play and triple play pepperoni. We had our order delivered on Xmas eve. We have an online account so it was simple to order and pay online. When our driver showed up it was pouring rain, poor guy. I had already tipped when I paid online but this guy deserved more working late on Xmas eve in this horrible weather. I gave him a $20 bill that he refused twice before my wife came to the door to make him take it. The food and service here are always excellent. We've been coming to this restaurant for years. Whether to celebrate a birthday or after a team game or just to get a bite to eat. Not only is the pizza delicious but the customer experience is the best every single visit. Especially my last visit. My wife usually calls in to order delivery but this time she ordered online. When we got the delivery she noticed that there was no ranch for the wings and the pizza was missing half of the pepperoni. So I drove over to the restaurant to make it right. As soon as I walked in with the pizza and wings, I was approached by Ray the general manager. He was very polite and professional. He kindly pointed out that the delivered food was exactly how it was ordered online. I apologized and let him know that we don't normally order online. He then let me know that they will make the correct pizza and wings with ranch even though it was our fault. That was very kind of him and he didn't even know that we've been long time customers. Round Table brings back so many childhood memories as it was our hangout on Thursday afternoons after school was out. Their pizza was only good if you ate it there while it's piping hot and the same holds true today since I noticed the crust getting soft as the pizza cools down. I ordered a specialty pepperoni pizza over the phone and asked specifically for the $5 medium pizza that was included with it. Once I arrived Ivonne the manager refused to offer the medium pizza for $5 because she said pepperoni is not a specialty. I would have ordered the medium had I known that I was going be charged full price. She was used 0 common sense and was completely uncompromising. Came here for the lunch buffet a while ago and was not impressed. Seeing as how mediocre the pizzas are and how much they usually cost, the buffet really is the best deal here though. Only available during the week, an array of pizzas, salad and dessert pizzas which were my favorite part. The quality is pretty shabby, the pizzas are flavorless and thin crust, not my fav. My son loved it, but he's 11 and thinks all you can eat is the greatest thing ever so not very hard to please. My husband agreed not really worth going back for. Haven't had Round Table Pizza since high school. Well... a lot has changed. This location is quite smaller than the one I use to frequent. Then again, maybe because we were smaller in high school and everything seemed bigger?... A possibility but I won't go there. :) This location had a private room which I've noticed a party was taking place. Kids were running amuck. Game room is a little more elaborate than the 2 machines I remembered from my hay day's at Round Table. Food wise... well, a lot has changed since high school... again. Pizza was decent. Compared to the ones I've had recently, they did ok. Definitely better than Little Caesars which I refused to eat. I ordered the flatbread with the pepperoni toppings with green onions, tomatoes and a ricotta cheese base. It was not bad. Crispy, flavorful, was not too oily. Good quality for lunch. I think what really gave it a solid three was the fact that they had board games. We played Trouble which I haven't played over a decade! Forgot how entertaining that was.
