I am a huge fan of the Round Table pizza establishment. Although I do agree with the customer service may vary by locations, this one is by far one the best and feels like home. There is a Round Table Pizza near me which is 5 minutes from my home but by far I come to this location instead, which is roughly about 20 min. Drive. The food at either location will be the same but the customer service and staff are excellent. Plus at this location offers a Monday night 40% off large or XL pizza. That is pretty cool. read more

Saw a curbside pick up sign in the window here today when I was turning into go to the bank across the street. I called in to order two pizzas so that I could pick them up after I left the bank to feed my family lunch. When I called in to pick up curbside the man that answered the phone was extremely rude and and let me know they don't do curbside anymore. I told him that I ordered because I saw the curbside sign in the window. I asked if you would be able to make an exception this one time seeing as the sign is still up, and I have my infant son and disabled brother in the car with me and I would not be able to juggle a baby and my brother and two pizzas. He replied no we can't do that so I let him know that if that was the case I need to go ahead and cancel my order. He asked me to hold on and a woman answered the phone and told me they are too short staffed to do curbside. So I let her know I would have to cancel my order then. I understand many businesses are shortstaffed right now due to the pandemic. I am not one to ask for exceptions to the rules almost ever. I just knew that I would not be able to juggle two large pizzas and a baby and my brother. I was going to Albertsons today and was very hungry so I stopped into Round Table Pizza on 3440 Marron Rd for the first time. I ordered a personal with everything on it to go, and I used the restroom, which was clean and there was a salad bar, music, stuff for kids. Looks like a great place to have a casual get together for lunch or dinner as well as take away. Stefanie, the manager took my order for a personal pizza with everything on it. When I was a young child my family & I were always at Round Table in Vista, CA. We knew the owners and they made THE BEST pizzas EVERR!! Then it shut down sadly, so we started going to this location. The pizza still has the same flavor to an extent & it's definitely worth trying. I recommend going during buffet hours to get a little bit of everything. Pretty pricey for pizzas, but all in all it's tasty! Make sure to get some ranch for the pizza too! Their ranch is one of my favorites with pizza! read more

I've been a long time Round Table fan for years, starting from Northern Cal going to Southern Cal. I've never had a bad experience. Love the salad bar options. The Tuesday night buffet is awesome. We order delivery all the time. It's on time, fresh, HOT most of the time. They have followed every request we make i.e. wing sauce on the side, extra plates, etc. We have ordered online mostly and even placed our order early in the day for delivery for dinner later in the evening and never had a problem. The ONLY issue is they are expensive, but we pay it because it's worth it, it's the best pizza out there that we have found. read more

I was informed that I needed to create a Rewards Account as well to retrieve a code to secure my $3.14 pizza. Okay. Then, I was told that I couldn't use the code on the existing order. What? We order pizza from the Marron Road store almost every Friday and it is always exemplary, which is why we keep coming back week after week. We order specialty pizza and only once made the mistake of also ordering a salad. Tonight our son ordered pretty much everything on the menu and all of it was mediocre to awful. Maybe it was a late Friday night thing. They have the absolute WORST salad I have ever ordered from a restaurant. So awful, in fact, that it is pretty much inedible. The baked pasta was ok, the pepperoni pizza was over cooked. We will continue to order pizza from this store, but never salad and maybe not pasta or a basic pizza. read more

Place is awesome! I do not know why more people do not come. Came to order a veggie gourmet pizza, with breadsticks and the order was processed and delivered in less than 20 minutes. Have never had a problem at this restaurant before today. I went for the lunch buffet and there were only 3 kinds of pizza out and they were all dried out. The pizza crust was hard as a rock and the toppings were all dried out. I asked if they could make a ham and pineapple pizza and they told me no. I told them their buffet was nasty and pizza was old and dried up. The 2 guys working just laughed it off. I wish I would not have left a tip on the receipt and left a cash tip for the nice lady picking up the dining area. At least she was working and not sitting on her phone like the other 2. She is the only one that deserved a tip. This place has really gone downhill since I was there last. I guess that explains why there were no customers in there. Certainly not worth $15! read more

Relocated back to SD. I order from the Oside store FREQUENTLY . EVERY time it is OUTSTANDING . I know how to order a great pizza.. But RTP in Oside makes the BEST. I don't know what training this store does, but they do something right. Staff is VERY kind as well. The lemon charred pizza DELISH. I've always been a fan of the Guinevere Garden. I didn't realize Round Tables still existed! I was excited to try it again. This was the Evening of Nov 29. We ordered a Pizza through the website. The website is terrible! Don't use it! We had issue with our order. When we arrived our Pizza was incorrect. I called, spoke to an associate. They said they'd ask the manager for what they could do. The Manager was understanding, and went above and beyond to fix our problem. We ordered half a garlic Italian supreme, and the pepperoni Maui. The pizza was delicious! I don't think we've been there in years but my husband, a friend of ours and I ended up there one night around 8pm on a weeknight when we were too tired to decide where to eat. We ordered a pizza with a white sauce and a balsamic drizzle on top. The manager gave us a better deal then what I had found online so that was super nice of him. The pizza was GREAT. We all really liked it and a large was enough to feed the 3 of us (who were all hungry) and we still had a couple pieces left over. Stoped by last night for their buffet and it was ok. Their Pizza never really did it for me it's not that great. They did have a salad bar which is nice but when it's just iceberg lettuce it is underwhelming. Only reason why I came here is because it's like 10 bucks for the buffet and it is worth it. I haven't eaten here at any other time besides the lunch buffet, so I don't know how the regular pizzas taste. The buffet is pretty decent, there are about 5-6 different flavors in the line, with one or 2 specialty flavors to go with whatever theme they have that day. Also on the line are the two types of bread sticks, garlic and dessert (cinnamon, sugar and icing). At the end of the buffet like it's the salad bar, with the usual basic options to customize how you like and about ~8 different dressings. Be sure to get the cold plate located between the hot and cold sections so you're salad doesn't get gross and warm, and get the plastic black plates for the pizza, which is located opposite buffet (left counter if facing the registers) I recommend coming here when the buffet opens to get the fresher pizzas and have a better selection of seating, since toward the end of the buffet some tables might still need to be cleaned off. read more

Round table was always my favorite "chain" pizza place growing up. I've used this location at least a dozen times and it maintains the same taste and quality. But they also have great customer service. Recently I ordered over the phone for a half pepperoni/ cheese for the kids and they mistakenly heard pepperoni / anchovies. No way my kids were going to eat it even if we picked off the fish. So we called back and they fixed it no problem - sent out a new pizza in less than 30 minutes. Thank you! read more

I have been very pleased with this location. Their buffet is excellent, and their staff (Stefanie, Mark, Brenda, and Talayeh) are very nice and attentive. The store is clean, the music is good (and not too loud), and the pizza is some of the best I've had in a while. The customer service was exemplary & that is what I look for in a restaurant first. Tala was so gracious & even up sold an offering. This is such a wonderful first time. The food was exceptional from other Round Table Pizzas that I've been to. There was plenty of fresh salad with all the fixings & pizza. The staff looked great in their uniforms, very clean cut & presentable. Makes one feel good to see everything so CLEAN!!! Even though RTP is close to our house, that's not the reason why we choose to eat pizza here. The pizza is pretty good and ingredients are fresh. My husband always gets a trip to the salad bar, but I always pass; I came for cheese, meat, and dough!!!! The crust is crispy if you get thin crust (it's called skinny I believe), but fluffy if you get the regular crust. It's not hella dense like some pizza crusts can be. I'd say there's a good ratio of dough to toppings that they put on the pizza. Customer service at the counter is always a pleasant experience. It's weird because I'm not a fan of small talk initiated by others, but I have enjoyed the convos I've had with the employees at RTP. No, it's not because they make my food, it's because they just seem like genuinely nice people. And for me, if customer service blows, I'll never go back to a resto, even if the food is good. To sum up all the experiences I have had and why the four star rating; well, the pizza is pretty good (not a huge fan of pizza, but I'll eat it), ingredients are fresh, you get your food in a decent amount of time, and the employees are pretty cool.
