Out of all the pizzas places I have recently tried in Long Beach, this place makes the best pizzas. The place may not be kept up or so friendly, but the food was very delicious. This is beyond crazy I haven't had around Table pizza in a long time and wanted it so bad. I go online and order and was told the eta was 60 mins. I ordered my pizza at 6:32 and it was suppose to be delivered at 7:32‍ Well it's 7:56 and no pizza. I called to speak with the manager and was told it would take another 30 mins because they were short on drivers REALLY. I can say other pizza places would never take this long and if they did the pizza would be free. Let's see how this goes when the delivery driver pulls up. Almost 8pm who does this. I'm disappointed, hungry and hoping my food is still hot. Finally got my pizza at 8:30 OMGGGGGG and I asked for my wings to be well done that was a NO. Come on now Round Tables what's up? read more

This round table is super slow. Not sure why they would tell me the pizza would be ready at a certain time since I called in and ordered it and went there when they said it was ready. I was waiting been since that time and it had already been 20 minutes and I'm still waiting for my one topping pizza. I understand that they might be busy, but the approximated time should be more accurate. They did however redeem themselves by apologizing and presenting me with a coupon, but they shouldn't have to. I ordered 2 personal sized pizza's online with a pickup time of 7:25 PM. I arrived exactly at 7:24 PM and the crew here seemed lost and angry. I paid for my pizza but found they hadn't even started making our order. One of the crew asked another crew member if she could check on my pizzas and she shook her head no. She then said 'sorry, we are really busy right now.' It's customer's like me that are keeping you busy. Maybe trying a little better customer service will inspire people to come back because I won't. read more

I placed an order via Grub Hub tonight and after waiting 40 extra minutes from the stated delivery time, I called for a status. The woman on the phone said the the order was out for delivery and she called the driver. There was a "mistake" with the order meaning that they delivered my pre-paid order to someone else!!!! They offered to make a "fresh" order, which would have been another hour of waiting on top of the hour and 40 minutes I had already waited so I declined. I canceled the order but had to contact Grub Hub to make sure I wasn't charged so additional time. The sad part is Round Table offered no resolution for a horrible mistake. Word to the wise... Do not pre-tip on Grub Hub as you never know if the food will arrive on time or at all. read more

A friend dragged me here the other night. I'm trying to eat way less meat so I ordered the deluxe version of their vegetarian pizza. It's truly one of the best pizzas I've had ever. I have been eating Round Table 25+ yrs. I love & swear buy them! Until today...loyalty means nothing. I ordered Sept 19, 2022 XL Meat Lovers & 2 orders of wings; only that's not what was delivered. Except when I moved, and that year in school..I never spend less than $50, a week sometimes 2 times..I work medical, you never know. But I love my pizza! So, I received my pizza, around 8:30..8:45 PM. There was a black out in our neighborhood, so calling them was out of the question, they were already closed for the night. Once I ate the first slice..cut thin thank God! It took 10mins for my stomach to feel like I was burning down inside. I knew the meat on my pizza was different, but in all the yrs, never have I received anything but my "Meat Lovers Pizza!" So later on, I take a couple of bites off another slice, hoping it's me. No..it was the pizza. I'm in a Rehabilitation hospital I have been ordering for over a year at this location & never a problem. I called yesterday, after mulling it over. I waited until the same shift of people that took my order came in. Initially, a new trainee, was taking my order & Stephanie was shadowing training him..He too was very nice & professional, and luckily, I got them too. Stephanie was very professional, and told me Frank would have make that decision; the evening manager. Upon speaking to Frank, he informed me, "had you called the night of, I could have gave credit or remade your pizza.' Now, you must go through Dan the Owner." I told both Stephanie & Frank..Dan too, It was hard for me to call & complain about my Round Table pizza. However $65.69, is no sneeze in the bucket. I gave that pizza away early Tuesday..as not to waste it. So Monday night thru today, my stomach is still burning. They have given me meds for it, I have literally not eaten since eating the pizza. Dan the owner would not even consider any type of credit. In fainess to both, I told him forget 2 orders of wings. I think deserve at least a credit for my pizza. He kept over talking me, & telling me how so many loved that pizza they made me by mistake, and therefore he can not..will not assist with any type of credit! So, he was new, put in the wrong pizza, Stephanie didn't Change it, because he had already put it in. But now I'm telling, how much abdominal discomfort I have been dealing with since, and you are telling me, many like that Pizza..BUT THAT IS NOT THE PIZZA I ORDERED DAN! THAT IS WHY YOU HAVE 10 SPECIALTY & ABOUT 26 INGREDIENTS, TO MAKE IT HOWEVER YOU CHOSE! I HAVE EATEN NOTHING THANKS TO A PIZZA I NEVER ORDERED!! He put an older gentleman, with heavy accent, explaining, "to bad about my pizza, I should have called that night." He & Dan both yelled call corporate & hand to God they hung up in my face. So I go online, find a number listed in California. I call 3 times, each time, they disconnect immediately. I look through more information, another number obtained..only this time it is hooked up to a false delayed message. They tell you, "Hello, thank you for callIng Round Table your #2 in line, and you're next." This looped message went on for approximately 5min, then it said "your up next." Another 3min looped message. Now, it rang 1 time & hung up! I tried again, same response. I call Restaurants, and ask for corporates number, I got, "You have to go online, and one told me, "call back after 4 PM my Manger, will be in & give it to you!" So, without any other solution, I call Dan again and I ask, "May I have corporates number?" He said, "yeah I don't have, but if you go online you can find it." Wow is all I could think at that very moment. The corporation, is set up to make you furthest; so you give up. They have Atlanta, Georgia as corporate, then they have Concord, CA listing Fanbat as corporation, with many other popular franchises listed besides Round Table. So as for the years all my family & friends I didn't convert..unless I was paying; my relationship with Round Table is over! I never met with such disrespect & unprofessional attitude...since my days in burger joints. Please..any recommendations out there! read more

So. Im not mad at the staff, its busy and its first football sunday. My pizza was late no big deal. I call to check up and ask to just make sure its fresh. After an hour and a half i recieved the most rubbery pizza of my life because it was cold and had been sitting under heat lamp for 30+ minutes. Once again im not mad at the staff. Im mad at you Dan. Been ordering from this location for years baut lately the service has gone down hill. Today my pizza was almost 30 minutes late. Customer service didn't care still had to pay delivery fees and tip driver. They need to learn how to take care of their long time customers. A few months ago when I ordered pizza was horrible. Put together very sloppily and very greasy and messy. Not at all what I expect from Round Table. There are tons of local pizza places. After today I will go with someone else. Round table is about one of the only chain pizza places I go to. The food is always great, service is pretty fast and friendly. I always order online and use the online coupon that gets me 15% off. When I order online, my order is always correct and never has any issues. They have the absolute best bread sticks. read more

Food poisoning alert. I've ordered for delivery from this location for years. Service was always polite and fast delivery. Pizza always tasted great, until one time. Something didn't taste quite right but I ate it anyway. Then was awoken in the middle of the night with outrageous-outrageous food poisoning. Since I'd ordered for delivery for years and only had one episode of food poisoning, I thought I'd give it another try since the service was always good. I decided to go pick up my pizza this time and on the door it was noted by the health department "Major food violation observed" dated the same month I got food poisoning. Ah. Explains why. Looking around (since I always get delivery) the restaurant was filthy. I used to restroom waiting for my order and it was also filthy. If in front of the counters it's that dirty...imagine how much dirtier it is behind the counter in the food prep area? I decided my health was more important than simply polite fast service. The pizza is absolutely delicious it's thin but not too thin and it's crispy not soggy. And the wings are great as well ! Hot and crispy they do take a little long though don't know why it's always empty. But maybe delivery orders idk. The guy who owns/manages the Round Table on Ocean Blvd is truly one of the nicest people ever. He's super personable, and they make consistently good pizza. I love the mini pepperoni's and he is always quick to offer a suggestion on any of his favorites. I'm a regular, and I've never been disappointed. read more

IT WAS SO HOT INSIDE! Not comfortable environment at all. Not to mentioned we waited forever to receive our pizza and wings. The wings were slimy and soggy. They tasted like they had just been microwaved. Our pizza was OK. Tasted like Roundtable, so no complaints there. However, they brought us dirty plates to eat on. I had been intrigued by the TV ads for their new meatball pizza and wanted to try it. It looks so good on TV that I can almost smell it... So I went to try it yesterday. Boy! What a disappointment. It cost $4 more than the other large pizzas and looked NOTHING like the one in the TV ad. This thing had a total of 8, one inch meatballs cut in half for toppings, and almost no bell peppers. The crust had an edge on it that averaged 1.75 inches wide where it was folded over. There was nothing inside the crust except for a little bit of marinara sauce that they must have applied with a paint brush. Due to the huge folded edge on the crust, the actual pizza was reduced in size to a medium, and for this I paid an extra $4? In all honesty, I must admit that it tasted good, but I sure felt ripped off when I saw what I got for $22. :-( And they have the gall to call themselves, "The last honest pizza." I know people are hesitant to visit chains but Roundtable has the best pizza sauce anywhere. It has a little bit of a bite so if spicy bothers you, you probably won't like it. I LOVE IT! I usually order my favorite: Double Pepperoni - can't go wrong. They also have a Triple Pepperoni that is amazing! And if you like BBQ Chicken, their sauce is great on that too. Their crust is crisp and everything I've ever ordered is quality and delicious. My favorite pizza chain by far! Look for coupons though -- their specialty pizzas can be a bit pricey. Absolutely the worst delivery. I ordered wings and bread sticks and a water. After paying $29 for a dinner that was pretty bland and I get no ranch (I ordered two) and Luke warm water. I called to tell the restaurant what happened and the woman says "what do you want me to do? Have them send you some ranch?" Writing this while I'm enjoying my morning after cold left-over pizza. We got a large 1/2 extra cheese, 1/2 mushroom & onion on a skinny crust, cooked crispy - and it's turned out delicious! This pizza reminds me a lot of House of Pizza, pizzas back home on the east coast.... which I have yet to find out here until now!
