Ordered delivery. Two items showed up incorrect from what I ordered. Two items didn't even show up at all. I still was charged full price. When I called the delivery driver he told me that they originally didn't even add the salad to the order but luckily he caught it. There is a definite improvement with the new management. The quality of the pizza has improved since the pandemic times for sure. I've only had one small issue with an order being incorrect but they were quick to remedy the problem. If I have one complaint, it's that their website never lets you apply coupons/ Royal Rewards when ordering online from the Burbank location. If I want to use my Royal rewards, I have to call in the order. Other Round Table locations work fine when applying Royal rewards. Other than that, the employees and the pizza are great! read more

Pluses: The pizza tastes really good and is well presented. The weekday buffet lunch is reasonably priced. Parking was easy, in a shared lot. Minuses: Except for the weekday lunch buffet, the prices are a bit too high--but the worst criticism is for the sanitary practices at the buffet. Unlike at other buffets, in my visit here there was not the slightest effort to get patrons to use a separate plate for a return trip to the food bar. Although I was easily able to obtain for myself additional clean plates, I had to inquire even to know I had the option. I have to assume that most patrons would not take that initiative. read more

New owners are a breath of fresh air and the recent total remodel makes it more welcoming and feels like the owners actually take pride in their business. Having grown up in northern CA where Round Table is "king," I have always been disappointed in the majority of So Cal RTs. The combination of ingredients and baking technique always seemed off compared to what I was used to. Fortunately the new and improved Burbank location has gone back to RT basics and gotten it right! The pizza is delicious and has the same taste I remember at all the best stores up north. The new employees and managers are always courteous, friendly and generous. Let me just say that I love Round Table's pizza. It is, by far, my all-time favorite pizza and has been since I was a kid. Sadly, I usually have to hold out for their mailed coupons to make the price of a pie somewhat tolerable. Round Table Pizza is easily one of the most expensive pies a person can by. And they're definitely the most expensive chain pie. When a medium carryout costs around $20, one has to entertain the idea of Dominos' $7.99 Large 3-topping carryout. I'm not saying Dominos is a better pizza at all. But I can feed my family and make them happier with a larger pie for 60% cheaper than a RTP 2-topping medium. So there's something to be said there. Again, Round Table makes an extremely delicious pizza. It's a company from my childhood and one of my first jobs as a teenager. But in this very cut-throat, competitive marketplace, it seems like Round Table's corporate offices are going to kill their small franchise businesses, like this one in Burbank, by pricing their pizzas like the dough has gold flakes mixed in. This is bad if not arrogant business, and it shows as I've seen Round Table Pizza locations, such as this one, gradually halve the size of their restaurants and cut staffing thresholds. And I get that the pizza is better than the competition. That's a common enough comment, and I wholeheartedly believe that too. But better enough to be more than twice-the-price good. Something has to give. In summary: $42 for 2x mediums from RTP or $16 for 2x large pizzas from Dominos. ...Hmmmm... choices. Perhaps the choice is simple ...and very very unfortunate? And yes, I've eaten at the Burbank location many times for myself, also ordering carryout many times as well. The staff is really great, but also very minimal. The food is always great each time too. But the prices are so high that it kills off 2 stars and prevents my family from ever entertaining the idea of ordering from here when pizza is brought up as a dinner solution. Sad really. read more

I used to live a couple blocks from the now shuttered Round Table Pizza on Saticoy in Reseda and every few months I would get a massive craving for their King Arthur Supreme. This is an addictive pizza, loaded in layers with various meats and veggies in a tasty tomato sauce and melted cheese. I now live closer to this Burbank location and on a gloomy day last week that hankering for the King Arthur Supreme was immense so I ordered one for pickup. As I walked across to the register I noticed the restaurant is empty. I go up to the cashier (owner?) and say: I'm here for pickup of the King Arthur Supreme. He says: Give me your name and email, I put your information in computer. Me (a lil confused): Uh it's ok, I don't eat pizza that often, so I don't need to be a member or anything... Him: What! You don't trust me with information? Me (getting uncomfortable): Um, I just want to support my local pizzeria... what's the total? Him: $32.33 Me (shocked): It used to be $19! Has it been that long?! Him: That's why you can be member and get points for discount! I collect my thoughts, muster a smile thinking the pie will be worth it and hand him $35. When I got in my car I opened the box and started to cry because the pizza looked so sad. Instead of the usual layers upon layers of meat, veggies and cheese I got exactly ONE layer of sparsely scattered toppings and barely any cheese. I will never come back here. The guy gives me the creeps and I am sad he is attached to the local Round Table Pizza franchise. Next time I get a craving I will be driving to the Tarzana location instead. read more

Since we moved into the area this has been our go to pizza place. I'm extremely picky when it comes to pizza & these guys are amazing. Being a vegetarian a lot of places are bland & don't offer much in the way of toppings & choices but OMG their vegetarian pizza is ridiculously tasty. We just had 2 pizzas delivered before the expected delivery time! I thought I'd put through the order but didn't complete check out & called to confirm so I assume they understood and kindly rushed my order, and they were so hot it was like they were straight out of the oven. Having grown up on Round Table Pizza, it pains me to think how far they've fallen. Myself and a few coworkers decided to partake in their daily buffet of pizzas and salads a day before Christmas break. Almost like a going out in a blaze of glory lunch, which very possibly could have been with what this restaurant presented to us as a buffet. Just to set the scene for you. We walked into this Round Table which is located in a nondescript strip mall on the corner of Buena Vista and Victory. We walk up to the counter and saw an empty buffet line. No pizzas. Okay, perhaps they're getting pizzas ready. We'll have salad. No salad. Now I'm wondering are we getting Punk'd? Apparently not. They filled the salad up from what I can assume to be a giant bag of mixed greens that they got from Costco. The sides were no better as I would fear for my life by eating it. After a while pizzas started to come out of the oven. BTW, going on a quick tangent. If you're going to advertise a pizza buffet, you might want to think about having pizzas out in the dozens and if your oven doesn't do that much, perhaps you should talk to Dominos or Pizza Hut. The pizzas lacked flavor. They were unevenly made. Some had too much toppings and others had very little toppings. Some had clumps of cheese while others had a mountain of sauce. It just pains me to think this is what Round Table is these days. I hope this is because this is just the buffet version and not the whole pies orders that I was used to as a child. My daughter and I both started calling this Round Table at approximately 8:50pm from separate phones. The website states that it closes at 9:30pm. We were hung up on every time we dialed and finally gave up trying to place an order at around 9:05pm. We called 3 other Round Table locations that state they are open later than this location, only to be told that they were closed. The Round Table corporation needs to be better with their customer service. It's unprofessional for them to have inaccurate information on the website. We were able to get take out from the Mel's Diner in Sherman Oaks which is one of our favorite restaurants. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Round table pizza USED to be my favorite pizza place for their excellent quality pizza. Compared to other competitors they charge a lot more but that was okay, you get what you pay for. Right? Not any more! This specific location has gone down the drain and serves cheaply made low quality junk to their loyal customers. The pizza was burnt on top but the dough uncooked. The poor quality of the cheese and thinly cut ingredients were unacceptable. There were thick onion peelings on the pizza as part of the topping. Indigestion, bloating, heartburn and nausea .... I haven't been here though for about 6 months and decided that tonight I want a really good pizza. When I came here on a Saturday, prime dinner time, the place was totally empty, tables empty, not one single customer inside. I thought it odd. I should have taken the hint and walked out. I ordered a gourmet veggie pan crust pizza to go. I got it home and it was disgusting. Even my wife said "what's wrong with this pizza? She took like 2 bites and refused to eat more. Same for me. The dough tasted old, stale and hard, a little sour even. I thought I can't believe I just paid 30 bucks for this! As I threw it away. Come on... They claim to be the "last honest pizza." I'm not sure what they exactly mean by that, but I can honestly say it's one of the best pizza's I've had. Round Table Pizza has been a personal favorite of mine, although I never seem to have it enough. The thing about Round Table is their focus on both quality and quantity. Everything about their food is quality, from the fresh dough to the fresh toppings. They don't skimp on the toppings either. Unless you just get a cheese pizza, they cover the whole thing to the point where you barely see the cheese. If you get something like the supreme, its a nice mix of veggies to meats...sometimes they go overboard with the meats so you're definitely getting your money's worth. My only complaint is the crust is a little thicker than I'd like. It's similar to a Pizza Hut or Costco crust. Still way better cause the quality of the dough shines. The best thing to get with your pizza are the garlic parmesan twists. They're bread stick twists with garlic and cheese in the dough. Dip them in some ranch and I dare you to just eat one. I think I never come here that often cause it's not really that cheap. Yeah, you get a lot for your dollar but it's a few more dollars than what you could get elsewhere. If price is a factor I can see why you'd skip the place but if you wanna splurge once in a while and have a quality slice of pizza, this is the place to go. read more

I was very impressed by their excellent customer service gentleman attending the front is very pleasant and goes above and beyond to make sure your dinning experience meets your standards. It was fine. Not greasy (good thing). However, nothing to write home about. The owner was nice, the restaurant eating area seemed clean (super important). Bland, "plug food." (i.e. it "plugs" the empty hole in your stomach). Nothing exciting. Not sure if I'll be back or not. Not "bad," just nothing "great" about it. The bathrooms are sketchy--the mens room toilet didn't have a proper lock, so you might be sitting in the, er, toilet, and who knows if someone might try to walk in ... somewhat disconcerting. In my opinion was probably the best pizza you could get. I worked at this same location when I was 17. I never got bored of this pizza, never got old to me because it was so good. I came in here with my family and for starters the customer service in this place is straight out horrible. I know how your suppose to talk to customers, and they just simply are plain out rude and have no idea what so ever how to speak to someone. I know pizza is suppose to be greasy, but this was plain out just soaked in grease. To the point where it was soggy, I've made pizza here before and the pizza never looked this way.
