Came back on the 1st day of new year after a long time but unfortunately didn't see any improvements but the price did go up and now it cost exactly $37 for 1 person buffet plus drink and you have to pay first before entering the buffet hall. Items were average to decent and some of the desserts weren't fresh and you can tell they were made a day or two before. Not worth the price at all!!

So I went to the Kings buffet recently located in Western. The service was good. We got sat pretty fast and the food was a decent price very much affordable we went with the group. We were able to all sit together and there are tons of options. Also, I wish they would've had games on. It would've definitely added to the vibe. It had nice lighting and little background music but if they would've had some of the basketball games on, it would've definitely helped the experience. So because I tried so many different things I wanna talk about the stand out the shrimp there really really good and there's fried shrimp there's baked shrimp. There's all different kinds of it. All good really good. The orange chicken was actually pretty solid. Nice flavor nice texture good consistency. The crab was good, but there wasn't a way to crack it so you have to crack it yourself and it was so freaking difficult. And the salmon was some of it was good went back for seconds wasn't as good as the first time like it's a buffet so there's expected to be inconsistencies. The desserts were OK. I enjoyed the ice cream tons of different flavors but the baked goods I wish there was brownies. There was some brownies and the cream cookies were just like I would go back to give it another chance maybe try some of the things a bit fresh but overall, the experience was cool.

For the most part, I liked this spot for the variety of dishes and the unexpected cleanliness at an Asian buffet! There is everything from broccoli beef , short ribs to soft shell crab which was my favorite and pizza for the kiddos. There is a coffee machine , a milk tea machine and i swear it's Thrifty Ice cream for self serve and a chocolate fountain ! Definitely family friendly. There is a Mongolian BBQ option as well , you dont see that in Vegas. Come here with the fam for all the selections.

I had family visiting from out of town, so we went to Hollywood and Highland to look at the Hollywood stars. After that, everyone was hungry, and my uncle wanted to eat at a buffet, so he suggested this place. We walked in, and once we paid, they asked what we wanted to drink, and we went to find a table. The place is pretty big with enough tables for larger groups, but you can't move the tables, so we had to sit at different tables to fit everyone. The buffet is like any other buffet where you grab a plate and serve yourself. They had a lot of seafood items, including sushi. I didn't get to try the sushi because I was super full, but my sister said the sushi was pretty good considering it was a buffet. The rest of the buffet includes Chinese food and a Mongolian BBQ station where they prepare the food for you. They also had a boba drink station, which was pretty cool! The chocolate fountain was also a hit with all the kids! The food that I tried was pretty good, and it tasted fresh. Now for the service. Unfortunately, the service was just okay. For some reason, when I asked for extra utensils, the waitress seemed bothered and said I should have some on my table, but I didn't, so she brought out 5 forks, and I only needed one. Also, one of the other waiters didn't seem friendly at all and was almost upset when I asked him for my son's drink. Even with the service not meeting my expectations, I would go back for the food since everyone else also loved it.

For a buffet that's ~$35 per person on a weekend, I think you get a reasonably clean place with a wide array of options and free parking (which was so nice). My mom and I came here for a relative's birthday dinner and we were seated in a separate area next to the main room. They have sushi, dim sum, a Mongolian BBQ station, and more. The desserts had a good variety as well, with a chocolate fountain being the crowning jewel. The food was decent and though some was a bit on the cool side, I didn't have any stomach issues the next day. No tips are expected and there's a 10% service charge on top of the main price (there's a discount for senior citizens). Overall, you come here when you're looking for quantity while minimizing price.

30-11-25-18:00-There were noticeable less cars in the lot. Strange for a Sunday. Well, I quickly discovered why? They have these weird signs posted all over the place saying "No tip required". I thought, "That's strange". Then I saw other signs saying "10% Mandatory service fee imposed". What the heck is that?! So, 3 people came to $101!! The food quality has really gone down. Many item dried up sitting around. Unfortunately, we used to love this place but, won't be back. We'll go to the other place in Montebello. I don't recommend this place at all!!

Whenever I visit K-town, I try to go back to this buffet place. The lunch price went up $24-$28 (automatically includes a refillable drink). They've been having issues with people leaving without paying, so you must pay before you get a table. This place is enormous. Parking is FREE! They have a decent selection of food and a fresh grill option in the back. Service is quick. Workers always walk around to remove plates when you are done or refill drinks. For the price, I'd say it's pretty decent. The tasty buffet will fill you up for the rest of the day.

This place was okay. I thought they would have more options and they didn't even have cream cheese wontons. Came here before a dj event and was really hungry. It's not the best buffet that I been to but not the worst.

No meat empty on a weekend Sunday at $31 per head

Disappointing Experience This Time We've dined here many times and usually enjoy our visits, but this time was very disappointing -- especially considering we spent nearly $400 for a group of 10. Unfortunately, it just didn't feel worth it. The service overall was poor. Most of the servers seemed tired, unfriendly, and not very accommodating. That said, Linda and another server named Larry were both kind and attentive -- they truly stood out and did a great job. Another letdown was the steak grilling section, which was completely unavailable. And, as in past visits, the temperature inside was uncomfortably warm -- it seems their HVAC system still hasn't been fixed. We hope management addresses these ongoing issues, because the place does have potential, but this visit missed the mark.

We had two orders of slippery shrimp, kung pao chicken, eggplants with hot and spicy garlic sauce, juicy steamed dumplings, and pork fried rice. Overall, both restaurants in Chinatown and Pasadena provide great food quality. The ambience was cozy with dim lighting. Our round table had a wooden rotating tray. They have pictures of celebrities and politicians who've visited their restaurant. Service was relatively quick, but there was a 20-minute wait for the dumplings. Valet parking can get difficult when the lot gets full. A few cars entering the narrow driveway had to reverse out of the way to let others leave. The kung pao chicken was very tasty with a good amount of spice. I noticed that the slippery shrimp didn't taste as spicy as the portion from Pasadena. Reviews say that the spice is adjustable. Regardless. it tasted great as it came right off the pan. The pork fried rice was delicious with a savory flavor that didn't seem overpowering. I thought the juicy steamed dumplings were the weakest dish out of our whole order. There wasn't enough flavor and heat from the broth. I didn't try much of the eggplants, but they tasted adequate for me.

I've come here two times - with a 5:30 p.m. reservation - and enjoyed the food, service, and ambiance. Pro-tip #1: Do not get their bread & butter starter; it is an absolute waste of money - a mate of mine went only to find out that it is a literal small smear of butter. The price is outrageous at $6 for 3 small pieces of bread and $5 for that butter smear - I promise you, this is not worth your money whatsoever. The first time I came here, we got bar seating and shared everything: 0. DRINKS & AMUSE-BOUCHE 0.1. Hojicha Milk Punch: Kettl Fuuka Hojicha, Cara Cara Orange Zest + Juice - $16 I do not recommend this - all I tasted was the yoghurt. 0.2. Celery root blini, creme fraiche, N25 ossetra caviar, reduction of apple and black vinegar - $15 A little too much apple reduction & balsamic vinegar, but otherwise, 8/10 - a little more caviar would be good. 1. COURSE 1: APPETISER 1.1. Wagyu Beef Tongue Carpaccio: Fermented kohlrabi, mala vinaigrette, arugula I didn't get the appeal of the Wagyu beef tongue - I have a lot of lengua (tongue) tacos and this honestly tasted like every other tongue I've had. The mala vinaigrette was gorgeously mouth-tingly, but I could have done with a little bit more kohlrabi and arugula; after a bite, I did feel a little heavy; despite it being a muscle, it doesn't taste anything iron-y like liver would. 1.2. Trout Tartare: Oro blanco, preserved chilies, jasmine Oh so absolutely fresh - I loved that I could taste the jasmine in a subtle manner & it was balanced perfectly with just the right amount of spicy kick from the preserved chillies, with the citrus juice from the oro blanco truly making this such a stellar "spring" dish with the trout. The gelee jasmine that was served was the right amount of tartiness with the oro blanco that I had knew I had to come back a second time to have it again. 2. COURSE 2: APPETISER 2.1. Duck Sausage en Crépinette: Apple condiment, red braised daikon, swiss chard It's a hefty, single (but not fatty or heavy) meatball and I personally found you only need a little bit of the condiment as it's sweet. 2.2. Stuffed Morels: Tofu and mushroom parfait, young peas, green garlic, buddha's hand This. This is the SINGLE dish that I would get again and again. It was such a fresh, refreshing, light, citrus-y, mildy chewy dish, perfectly balanced with young peas & green garlic. 3. COURSE 3: ENTREE 3.1. Grilled Short Rib: Black garlic, cabbage and leek terrine, yuxiang, pepper jus So rich, but not heavy; almost like it was a mole sauce - the beef was super tender. 3.2. Vanilla Sponge: Red bean, oolong, blackcurrent, blackberry Light sponge, delicous sauce; well made and not-too-sweet - a high compliment. 4.2. Banana Pudding: Rum gel, tonka cream, brown butter Awesome crunch; lovely, thick gel texture; yummy butteryness. Service was great - attentive, not-too-talkative or hovering, and consistent.
