Came back on the 1st day of new year after a long time but unfortunately didn't see any improvements but the price did go up and now it cost exactly $37 for 1 person buffet plus drink and you have to pay first before entering the buffet hall. Items were average to decent and some of the desserts weren't fresh and you can tell they were made a day or two before. Not worth the price at all!!

So I went to the Kings buffet recently located in Western. The service was good. We got sat pretty fast and the food was a decent price very much affordable we went with the group. We were able to all sit together and there are tons of options. Also, I wish they would've had games on. It would've definitely added to the vibe. It had nice lighting and little background music but if they would've had some of the basketball games on, it would've definitely helped the experience. So because I tried so many different things I wanna talk about the stand out the shrimp there really really good and there's fried shrimp there's baked shrimp. There's all different kinds of it. All good really good. The orange chicken was actually pretty solid. Nice flavor nice texture good consistency. The crab was good, but there wasn't a way to crack it so you have to crack it yourself and it was so freaking difficult. And the salmon was some of it was good went back for seconds wasn't as good as the first time like it's a buffet so there's expected to be inconsistencies. The desserts were OK. I enjoyed the ice cream tons of different flavors but the baked goods I wish there was brownies. There was some brownies and the cream cookies were just like I would go back to give it another chance maybe try some of the things a bit fresh but overall, the experience was cool.

For the most part, I liked this spot for the variety of dishes and the unexpected cleanliness at an Asian buffet! There is everything from broccoli beef , short ribs to soft shell crab which was my favorite and pizza for the kiddos. There is a coffee machine , a milk tea machine and i swear it's Thrifty Ice cream for self serve and a chocolate fountain ! Definitely family friendly. There is a Mongolian BBQ option as well , you dont see that in Vegas. Come here with the fam for all the selections.

Honestly very upset, I was looking forward to the oysters just to find out they wont be having any till who knows when because they don't even know. False advertisement and a bit pricey. A lot of the "hot" foods were mostly cold. Service was okay, they aren't as attentive as I was hoping but again it is a buffet. Sodas were also flat and warm. I will say that the workers are nice and will help if asked. Overall not sure if my family and I will come back again.

I had family visiting from out of town, so we went to Hollywood and Highland to look at the Hollywood stars. After that, everyone was hungry, and my uncle wanted to eat at a buffet, so he suggested this place. We walked in, and once we paid, they asked what we wanted to drink, and we went to find a table. The place is pretty big with enough tables for larger groups, but you can't move the tables, so we had to sit at different tables to fit everyone. The buffet is like any other buffet where you grab a plate and serve yourself. They had a lot of seafood items, including sushi. I didn't get to try the sushi because I was super full, but my sister said the sushi was pretty good considering it was a buffet. The rest of the buffet includes Chinese food and a Mongolian BBQ station where they prepare the food for you. They also had a boba drink station, which was pretty cool! The chocolate fountain was also a hit with all the kids! The food that I tried was pretty good, and it tasted fresh. Now for the service. Unfortunately, the service was just okay. For some reason, when I asked for extra utensils, the waitress seemed bothered and said I should have some on my table, but I didn't, so she brought out 5 forks, and I only needed one. Also, one of the other waiters didn't seem friendly at all and was almost upset when I asked him for my son's drink. Even with the service not meeting my expectations, I would go back for the food since everyone else also loved it.

For a buffet that's ~$35 per person on a weekend, I think you get a reasonably clean place with a wide array of options and free parking (which was so nice). My mom and I came here for a relative's birthday dinner and we were seated in a separate area next to the main room. They have sushi, dim sum, a Mongolian BBQ station, and more. The desserts had a good variety as well, with a chocolate fountain being the crowning jewel. The food was decent and though some was a bit on the cool side, I didn't have any stomach issues the next day. No tips are expected and there's a 10% service charge on top of the main price (there's a discount for senior citizens). Overall, you come here when you're looking for quantity while minimizing price.

30-11-25-18:00-There were noticeable less cars in the lot. Strange for a Sunday. Well, I quickly discovered why? They have these weird signs posted all over the place saying "No tip required". I thought, "That's strange". Then I saw other signs saying "10% Mandatory service fee imposed". What the heck is that?! So, 3 people came to $101!! The food quality has really gone down. Many item dried up sitting around. Unfortunately, we used to love this place but, won't be back. We'll go to the other place in Montebello. I don't recommend this place at all!!

Whenever I visit K-town, I try to go back to this buffet place. The lunch price went up $24-$28 (automatically includes a refillable drink). They've been having issues with people leaving without paying, so you must pay before you get a table. This place is enormous. Parking is FREE! They have a decent selection of food and a fresh grill option in the back. Service is quick. Workers always walk around to remove plates when you are done or refill drinks. For the price, I'd say it's pretty decent. The tasty buffet will fill you up for the rest of the day.

This place was okay. I thought they would have more options and they didn't even have cream cheese wontons. Came here before a dj event and was really hungry. It's not the best buffet that I been to but not the worst.

This place is an institution. After I wrote that sentence, I felt like I was trite. And like I said…read moresomething but not really. Like, one time I was watching Project Runway, a season finale episode, where the designers make their own creations, and do not have to make their ensembles from shredded newspaper or bird seeds or pinata remnants. And after a so-and-so of the fashion industry said, "I wanted to go and rip that jacket off the model." This other time, I saw a poster for a coming musical and it said, "stop everything you are doing, and go this musical now" says this important person in the theathre world. What am I am trying to say is that the comment I wanted to do this immediately or drop everything and do this immediately is so overwrought and widely used that it lost all meaning. Kind of like calling this place an institution. So I will call this place what I should to not be drown in my own trite. One time I went to this place and I went cause I was invited to a birthday party. And it was a large group of people. Me and a friend debated if Penny, from the Big Bang, had eaten at this place. She was also in Charmed--- it is a household name, I can't remember it. So this place is famous enough to be a go to move, and it has many pictures of celebrities that have gone there. The food is also super good, so this place, like I said is an insititution. When I went there a second time, I was more aware of the place I was visiting and kind of was ready to receive its Chinese fare with an unhinged jaw. I was dining with a friend, the same friend that I had the is that Penny from Big Bang debate? It was not. She eventually one. But like she and I ate here again, without knowing we were going to the same place. I would say its a small world but.... She and I ate with gusto. It does not take a lot to know that the speciality of the house is their slippery shrimp. They also have slippery chicken and slippery tofu. Super good, sweet, sour but it was not sweet and sour sauce shrimp, it had differences. I am not sure what. There were some heat notes but not like terrible heat. So I am not exactly sure what this place does to make their slippery sauce but let us just that it was delicious and different than other Chinese food sauces. Ronnie and I had the works. Rice, Beef with Brocoli, Pan fried dumplings, and dumpings. It was the type of Chinese food that was so good a coke was needed to balance the decadent saltiness of the fare. Yeah, that might not make sense but I wrote what I wrote. We had eniugh food to share between the two of us. It was that type of meal, where leftovers were welcomed and made sense. They were not left over, they were left untouched because it would be a shame to not enjoy them later. The service was great. The place felt traditional, and like it took you to an alley in China to eat a grandmother's food who knows how to use a Wok and pinch dumplings so they stay close for good. I saw this bad review that skewered this place. And I am like wow! How can we be so different. Not like Ying and Yang Different, more like flutter and flatten. But taste is subjective, so decide for yourself if this place is a peacock worthy of its feathers or a tiger with its claws clipped.

It was a but busy when we got there but luckily we got seared pretty shortly after arrival. We originally wanted to sit at the bar, but opted for a table for less wait time. When first looking at the menu we were shocked by the prices. I knew immediately i wanted to get the hui tou potstikers with pork and noodles. We ended up adding on the hongkong style wontons too. To my suprise the wontons arrived in a delicious and warm broth, keeping them perfectly moist and plump. The broth was so delicious even on a hot day, tasting faintly of sesame and scallion. Despite both dishes being pork they were so different and equally amazing in flavor. The pan fried potstikers which were CRISPED TO PERFECTION especially reminded me of black bean shortribs that you get from dimsum, fatty but hearty and had me wanting more and more each bite. The minced pork noodles were to no suprise, so good. Noodles tasted fresh, the sauce was umami with mushrooms and pork. While im not the biggest fan of mushrooms, i still ate it up. I feel it would be so good with some picked cabbage too to complement the saltiness. Most notable thing... THAT CHILI OIL. We probably used almost half the jar left at the table. It wasnt spicy at all, but it had this flavor that i genuinely have never tasted before. The texture of the chilli and sesame and the nutty flavor had me in awe. Enough to take two jars home... i would do it again. Servers were so quick, made sure everything we needed was at the table. Regardless of the crowd we were met with promptness and generosity. The way it's set up is pretty cultural. It reminds me of some hole-in-the-wall Asian restaurant the way they have metal utensils at each table. It's almost like a self-serve system to certain tools which is pretty common. I haven't drank water out of metal cup in a long time, so that was nostalgic too. We tried a variety of dishes to get a fuller understanding of their menu of what this place has to offer. I was really looking forward to the beef roll because it's usually one of my favorite dishes, but this one was disappointing. I define a good beef roll as one that's a good mix of sweet, savory and refreshing. The meat makes it savory and the veggies are supposed to counter it make the whole dish feel light. If someone disagrees with me, please share your thoughts on what a beef roll should taste like. The one from Pine & Crane was drenched in sauce. I could not taste the meat or the veggies and the whole thing tasted like a stick of sugar. The mapo tofu was on point, but this is quality you can probably make at home. The flavor profile was very similar to that of stuff you'd get a grocery store. The three cup jidori chicken came recommended, so we tried it. The flavor is very pungent and goes well with rice.
