The flight..the orange is the best hands down

Just as a reminder, I'm a regular here. There's reasons for that. I love a place that's consistent...food, beverage, staff...all top notch. My husband & I are usually here Thursday nights, always welcomed in the door by our names, they know exactly what we drink (but still ask just in case). The amount of regulars we see, and the amount of people in general who frequent here is a clear indicator of how they are doing things right. The wine-o in me cannot say enough about how good their dark beers are, the Orange De Pomme, f**king fantastic, snow on the ridge (I had this tonite) all the notes you want in a vanilla porter. I wanted a comfort food but nothing fried, so I got the beef stew tonight, perfect!!!! I will always come here, no matter how much wine I love, this is my beer spot, my neighborhood go-to, and you will not be disappointed if you're not from here.

Great place to spend some time. The beer on tap is brewed in house. The brewmaster is amazing. All beers, ales, ipas , porters and stouts are delicious and done to perfection. The staff is well trained , friendly and great at their jobs. The food is pub style and very tasty. This place is a must if you're in the Kerhonkson area.

While visiting the Gunks, we went to two breweries and a cider house, and this is THE place we will go to again. Nice location. Comfortable. Very good beers. Helpful staff and good service. Rough Cut is close to Minnewaska State Preserve. Go to Minnewaska to hike, then stop at Rough Cut for beer and food!

Expertly crafted brews served in a charming ambiance by friendly and experienced staff. The food also leaves an impression. The Brussel sprouts, asparagus were a work of art. The burrito bowl and the Ohio burger were also really really good. Brews are creative and absolutely leave an impression.

Nice little gem for post hike beers close to Mohonk Preserve.. Delicious beer and bbq style food options. The wings were good and the Mac & cheese was better. Great service, allowing us to taste a sample or two before choosing a beer. The ambience is a vibe!

We had a great meal. We started with delicious draft beers. Mine was the one with guava and friend had the one with orange. The appetizers were good, Mac and cheese and shrimp. Both I think could have been larger for the price. The burger was the star. Perfectly cooked and I could have taken a bath in the special sauce. It was delicious. I got extra and dipped my fries in it.I also thought the desserts were too expensive, I think one cake slice should not be double digits. For one slice that is robbery. Great service but next time I will stick to beer and burgers.

Finally got up to you guys for lunch. We loved your smash burgers! The bacon was incredible! The burger itself was charred and was cooked to perfection nice and dripping. Be loved your 44/55 IPA! I can see why you were very busy.

The food is overpriced and gross, you can find better at the diner down the road. Avoid if you can.

Love places that offer a flight and the cashier was super helpful with providing recommendations based on m preferences Now the food.....HOLY MOLY! I had the following: - habanero pork taco - cod taco - fried pickles - cauliflower wings (mild and Korean bbq) Every single thing listed was probably some of the most incredible food I've ever had. I was genuinely surprised this random brewing in the side of a mountain really nailed the beauty of Asian flavoring. I'd highly recommend. It was great for our large party of 9 and being able to order at the bar was easy. Staff was very swift too.

We ordered food and drinks etc. one of our dogs did quietly whine and the same woman came over and sternly said we had to leave if she kept whining. There were less than 15 people there, it wasn't loud, and it seemed super over the top to ask us to leave for that. I'm sad because i love this place and i brought my friends to share in it and it ended in a sour ending! The man bartender however, was super nice and made a great spicy margarita!

The excitement was unmatched walking into the building. Peeking in the back where the beer is made, so cool. The open room of the venue itself was nice as well. Lots of merch, lots of beer to go. We purchased two crew necks, a hat, and some beer. The staff behind the bar were able to help answer any and all questions that we gave to them. THEN we sat down to eat. Juice Bomb pint (obviously) and a Happier Hours pint. Started with the chilequiles tater tots and holy heck those were delicious. We also ended up getting the Porky's Revenge sandwich and Sloop Smashed Burger....no photos though because we were too excited to eat!

We didn't have any of the beers, but no one shamed us for that lol It wasn't busy when we got there, but I am sure it does get busy in there. Being from NYC area I am used to places having tons of competition or there being plenty of alternatives. This spot is definitely in a league of it's own out here and I think the same could be said if it were in NYC. The vibe inside was cool, spacious, and a little bit nerdy. But only a little bit :-(

The taproom inside feels cozy, and the two young women working were super sweet about getting us samples and drinks. Get the Endless Summer! It's a light, refreshing beer with the perfect hints of cucumber and watermelon and it is absolute heaven on a hot day. The lime lager was also excellent. We took our drinks and went out to the patio area under the tent where they were doing the pizza vending. There was a nice vibe in the air: a mix of folks and ages, but everyone just chilling and having a fun time. Bugs weren't too bad! The outdoor pizza set up is John's of Arthur Ave, which we have always had as to-go, but wow, they are bringing their A-game here with the outdoor ovens! The pizzas are INSANELY GOOD! Like, Razza-style impressive. We were seriously blown away because it's nothing like what we've had in the past from there. We ordered their white pie with ricotta and the "Bronx Bomber." DAMN. Perfect char and chew on the dough, and while we know that the ricotta on the first pie wasn't homemade, it practically tasted it. The BB pizza was outrageously delicious as well: loved the meat and banana peppers with the hot honey, which we're normally not a fan of, but it was perfect here. Cannot say enough good things about the pizza! Overall, a wonderful visit despite a heated conversation about world events at our table! Four very happy stars and we hope to have just as good of a visit next time, which will hopefully be soon.
