This place really needs to work on its standards. I know, it's the holiday season. However, I was first customer in the door this day and this is how the aisles looked every dingle one wxcept clothing that was hung. The only three employees was the cash reg person, very chatty security guy. that wouldn't allow her to focus (he just leaned on counter and chatted while she checked people out) and finally, a nice girl on the floor setting up new lamps from the back; instead of cleaning up this lawsuit waiting to happen. I almost tripped twice. I mention the pet aisle to the casher because that where, I almost fell. The cashier reply was priceless she said "well guess the need duplicate me" Smh. I realize this likely isn't these three's fault. However, who in the world is OK opening a store like this? Every single aisle just like this (see photos)! I would have placed a note on the door that said, I'm sorry "due scheduling issue we will be opening a half hour late" and at least got everything off the floor.smh read more

Broadway and Alvernon Ross in Elcon mall. Very bad very bad. They look like they have a scam running for returns. You stand in line. 2 cashiers are in the booth area that says customer service, returns and they spent 25 minutes doing returns and didn't check one person out. I finally left without my purchase. Interesting that a store would have 25 minutes of people coming in to return goods. Carts have so much hair wrapped around the wheels they hardly turn. Then I proceeded to go to Rosses on Campbell and Glenn - two men, three women and only one checking out. And she had trouble so it was an exceedingly long wait. Bikers beware. The Ross on 22nd/ Harrison is on the end of a less-than-full strip mall. I was not allowed to lock my bike on store side of iron railing. They have no bike racks in front either. I'm doubtful about security cameras outside. They won't let you bring it in (that I get) but where I was instructed to park it was extremely vulnerable to theft as it takes 10 seconds to cut lock and there is a rather concealed driveway right there so they could scoop it off easily. The inside rail was visible from window. Outside of rail, you can no longer view it from store. There was a reason but it was not valid. I can shop at the one on Broadway...more traffic, more concerned for my bike was shown. The one on 22nd was same type set up that I had bike stolen at 2pm on Super Bowl Sunday at Golf Links and Harrison. It took 5 minutes for this to occur! read more

I came here during the Christmas season, a few times, and every time I came in, there were scores of people in the store. It's a pretty typical Ross location. It has a lot of mid to low priced clothing on sale here, with some gifts and housewares peppered in. Most Ross locations tend to be pretty unorganized and messy, which happens often because they tend to be short staffed. This location is no different. However, the price is right here, and the customer service is excellent, so I suggest coming here anyway. read more

MAJOR SIGH: we visited on Saturday evening around 7:30pm. The store wasn't too unorganized as it usually is but also they had a lot less merchandise (clothing, purses, shoes) on their shelves and racks. For today's haul I bought some workout leggings and 2 Frozen nightgowns for my nieces. The major sigh comes from the experience during our checkout. All the cashiers were distracted from the checkout line so one of the other associates (maybe the front end sup) had to ask the group of cashiers to help us with checkout. She had an entitled attitude. She didn't want things handed to her on her left side but rather her right side and I thought that was PETTY because what does it matter if I hand you my things to the left or right. You still have to scan the items and remove the hardtags. Anywho, I know I'll be back but customer service is lagging. If you hate working there so much, Burlington is right next door. Busiest time of year, 3 checkouts open, at least 40 people in line to checkout. Cashiers are very slow. Seriously, businesses wonder why they are hurting. Every register should be open at this time. The Manager should be reprimanded or fired for this kind of customer service. Not acceptable! Last time to visit this store. It's very sad Customer Service has gone to the wayside. We have been in line for 15 minutes and still have a long wait. Recommend avoiding this store. read more

Heres the thing with ross: you have to have your game face on. You cannot go in there for casual browsing or you'll freak out and punch someone else's screaming kid. But if you know what youre there for (baby clothes, slutty tops, shoes for work, skater brand tshirts) you can get some massively good deals. Until yesterday i was strongly considering letting my 9mo old walk around in a diaper only until she reaches a more stable size. I just hate spending so much money on little baby outfits that she cant fit into in a month. Thanks to Ross, its no big deal. I can spend $2 on a dress, thats cool. Also, i'd never in my life by a name brand tshirt. ever. but my husband thinks they are cute. he likes the little skater/surfer brands. So since ross sells those shirts for 5-9$, i'll buy them for him. Put on your big girl panties and you'll get some crap done in Ross, i promise. read more

This store is a disaster a madhouse to say the least, first off the parking is extremely congested since there's a Walmart and shoe Carnival a Burlington not only do they have that but there's several restaurants in the parking lot also, you would think that tomorrow is Christmas with the amount of people that are here shopping, what their carts full of items like if they were giving them away for free. Another thing the store is extremely disorganized with Clothing, shoes and toys thrown all about and with unruly parents who don't know watch their children that makes it even that much harder to shop I like a bargain but I think next time I'm going to have to pass at this Ross store I'll stick to the one on the east side or at foothills mall read more

I don't shop at Ross very often. I only go there for household items and cheap basic shirts. I got a really nice white cotton shirt for under 10 dollars, perfect for Tucson weather. The shoes are not very organized. You might find some size 7s in size 9 isle. read more

I always find all sorts of goods here for fantastic prices. This place beats going to the secondhand stores who would charge you the same price for used clothes. I have found 10ft. X 6ft. Rugs there for $15, brand name shoes for $10, and other brands for good prices too. read more

I love this store! I have bought here my 2 favorite pair of boots, I'm wearing one of them today, btw... and they were around 35 dlls... just because they did not sell in the original store... AND one of my favorite leggings was bout here for like $4. Some stuff may be a little bit too expensive for me, like 200 dlls for a pair of pants, but still, imagine their scary original price. I go there mainly for the footware, hubby goes for the jackets and jeans... we love it! read more

This Ross is probably one of the nicest ones around. The clothes are neat, the aisles are well kept, and the staff is decent. Many of the other stores tend to be messy but this location is usually always pretty clean, which makes it easier to browse. It's smaller so it has less of a variety. read more

I went to Ross last year on Tuesday, it was past 12 midnight, so I asked the cashier for the senior citizen discount, she said because it was past midnight, it was technically Wednesday, no longer Tuesday. I talked to the manager the following day and so I said that I was shopping on Tuesday but they close past 12 midnight. She asked her supervisor and I was told that TECNICALLY it was Wednesday. So why am I bringing this up now? I went to Ross tonight Monday and so it was past midnight, so TECHNICALLY it was Tuesday, it's no longer Monday. I asked for the Senior discount, the clerk said it was still Monday, I explained what happened to me last year, so she called her manager and he/she said no to the Senior discount because it was still Monday.
