My experience today at Anthropologie was alittle disappointing. Usually their customer service is great and everyone is very helpful. Not today. I was in the store for about 45 minutes and found some great things but when I had a question or was looking for something specific-it was like I was invisible-employees would walk right by me and not even acknowledge me-only one associate at one point asked if I was finding everything -and at that point I was ready to leave. I know-I'm probably not describing this right but I have been shopping there for years and today was noticibly different-still my favorite store! Rude employees, my mom and i were checking out because the store was about to close, as we were checking out my mom sees a shirt that a mannequin was wearing that caught her eye and she asked the lady checking us out where they would have it. The girl proceeds to tell my mom that she doesn't know where in store the shirt would be and when my mom asked for help to look for it the girl refused. We then asked another employee if we could just have the shirt that was in the mannequin because it was a small and the employee tells my mom they are not allowed to take clothes off the mannequin. As my mom is checking out i start looking around the store to find the shirt and one of the employee sees me and tells me to leave because they are closed, i tell her the situation (we were already checking out and my mom saw a shirt she liked and we just wanted to find it to buy it before leaving) it is 6:01 at this point and the employee tells my mom that we can come back tomorrow and they can take it off the mannequin for her to buy tomorrow. We live in Vail and will not be driving all the way back to this location tomorrow just for a shirt, we were in store and we're ready to buy it then. The girl checking my mom out didn't even offer to order it for my mom online since we could not find it in store. All the employees working the closing shirt at the la encantada location today (Sunday, September 14,2025) are rude and not helpful at all. I get it the store had just closed but we had already been inside and were checking out, it would not have cost them anything to help us find the shirt or at least order it online prior to us leaving. We left the store at 6:03pm because we were practically being kicked out. My mother and I will never return to this location again due to these rude employees. Anthropologie if you care about having customers return I would recommend looking for some new staff because these girls working the closing shift tonight are going to ruin your business, I have never been to a store that does any means necessary to not help you. This store charged my card for a purchase I did not make of over $1600 over a month ago and I have been trying to get the charge reversed all this time. They still have not reversed the charge. This has caused so much stress and now interest has been charged on this amount. I have run out of options of what to do. They have admitted that I was erroneously charged and still have not refunded me. This is the second time that they messed up a charge for me in the past several months. I would never ever shop there again and will tell everyone I know about this terrible service. They have actually stolen 1600 from me as this charge was not authorized by me. I am considering calling a lawyer as I do not know what else to do to get my money back. I am extremely distraught and feel completely powerless over this situation. I hope that the CEO fires the people involved in this situation!!!!! read more

On 03/15/2021 at approximately 4pm, my daughter and I entered Anthropologie located at La Encatada. My daughter was looking for new face masks. Anthropologie has the best face masks with the perfect fit for my daughter. As we entered the store it was very clean and inviting. All employees and customers were following Covid-19 protocols. We looked for face masks but could not locate them. Associate "Valerie" came up to us and asked if she could be of assistance. Valerie had a very pleasant demeanor, a great attitude, and was knowledgeable about the merchandise on the sales floor. Valerie walked us to the face masks which were minimal. She recommended a pair which we ultimately purchased. Valerie's customer service was beyond outstanding. She told us that she would be more than happy to call us when they receive a shipment of new face masks. You could tell that Valerie made the kind gesture out of the kindness of her heart and to keep this customer coming back. I will be awaiting a phone call or an email from Valerie very soon. Valerie should be commended for her outstanding customer service, attention to detail, knowledge, listening skills, smile, and her commitment to excellence towards her customers. On May 7th at 5:00 pm a customer was eating tacos from a to-go box in the store, browsing through clothing, picking up things, licking her fingers. I asked the sales lady if people were supposed to be eating in the store, and she replied, "To each his own!" So then I asked the manager on duty if eating in the store was allowed, and she said, "There's really nothing I can do about it. We want everyone to have the best experience here." I would say an overwhelming majority of people in the world know not to eat in a clothing store. But, for some reason, the employees at Anthropologie don't know that. It's so nasty. Just came here to say 'thanks'. While I usually shop online in COVID days, I had a return to make in store. I got there right as they opened and waited more than 15 feet behind two women who wore their masks around their chins. First thing employees did as they opened the doors, was tell the women to pull their masks up before coming in. I appreciate this reinforcement of the rules and employees' efforts to keep the public safe. read more

I like Anthropologie. I don't necessarily GET it though. First off, it's very expensive but that's in keeping with the other stores. I saw a cute pair of shorts there for $68. The store has adorable prints but the styles can be a bit funky (think short in the front and long in the back). There are usually tons of colorful pants and jumpers there to choose from. Every once in awhile you can find cute sales items. My skinny friend has better luck in this department then me. They also have order online only samples in the changing room area if you're looking for a special occasion dress. The other side of the store is reserved for home goods like bedding, kitchen, accessories and books. The store has a little bit of everything for your girly needs. Just make sure you got the funds. One last note, like most stores here this one is dog friendly. Bring your pup and they'll get a treat. read more

The customer service has plummeted at this store. I went in to purchase several gifts. I went to look at candles and one employee, who was quite large, was posted at the candles chatting with another employee. She would not budge. I could not see the candles and could not get around her. She was so engrossed in her chat that she was oblivious that a customer was trying to see the merchandise she was blocking. When I finally find some items, I went to the register. The lady at the register was on the phone and told me she'd call someone up to check me out. The girl she called was obviously disturbed that she had to come and check out. I let her know that the items were gifts and I needed them gift-bagged separately. Her response, "Wait, you want to pay for them all separately?" I told her no, I just wanted them gift-bagged separately. Well after I paid, she threw them all into one bag. I reminded her they were separate gifts. She handed me a second bag with a missing handle as she rolled her eyes. I pointed out that the bag was missing a handle. Eye roll again. I noticed that there were gift boxes on the counter so I asked her if I could buy the boxes. " No they're free. You want one?" Yes please. She handed me ONE box for the five gifts. No tissue, no ribbon. I didn't dare ask for more. It's no wonder fewer and fewer people are shopping in brick and mortar. I did most of my Christmas shopping online this year. I needed to run in for last minute gifts. I will plan better next time so I won't have to go into that store. What a disaster. read more

Every time I enter this land of scrumptaliciousness, I have such a sensory overload and deep desire for things I never knew I wanted. A strapless dress with bicycles ( I envision myself in Florence at the Ponte Vecchio , enjoying a gelato , wearing this beautiful dress) an embroidered couch adorned with cockatoos upon velvet ( I picture this in my living room giving my house a couture bohemeian deliciousness) This store has such a cool artsy vibe, unique gifts and unbelievable decor! Dear Anthropologie, I love you, but why are you so expensive? And why hold out on giving me discounts and regularly scheduling sales like other retail stores do? Alas, I'm doomed to a life lusting over your merchandise and saving my pennies for the day I splurge on one of your one-of-a-kind looks. I love Anthro anywhere, but this location is especially great. The employees remember me, despite coming in only every 2-3 months. They offer feedback in the fitting room and are very quick to provide help and other options, which I always appreciate. I love the items Anthro carries but the staff at this location are SO rude. No greeting, no asking if you need help finding anything, just stares as they engage in conversations about school and their dogs. The girl who checked me out barely uttered a word to me. She printed the receipt, stuck it in my bag, and walked off. The whole interaction was so rude. I thought she walked away to get something for my bag like tissue paper or something of the like. Nope! She just walked off without a "have a good one" or even pushing my bag towards me. Your customers are ensuring you have a job, so maybe shoot them a "thank you" or even a "hi" when they walk in the door. I really love this store. It's got a little bit of everything- cute clothes, amazing housewares, AND fancypants bath and body stuff! Whenever I'm in need of a *perfect* dress for a special occasion, Anthropologie is usually the first place I look because I know that I probably won't have to go anywhere else. Wallet Warning: Their stuff is spendy so be prepared, but the sale room has some great pieces too. Anthropologie is also a great place to shop for neat gifts- they have wonderfully original dishes, towels, aprons. It's very rustic/french/shabby/chic so if that's not your style you might do best elsewhere, but it's hard to strike out at Anthropologie. Trust me, I've tried! read more

Such a fun and aesthetically interesting store to browse. I don't make enough to shop here often, but on rare occasion when they have extra 30% off sale, I'll find something I love and can afford! Their styles are usually more..free spirited? Not really things you'd wear to work although sometimes there are some more "toned down" styles that you could pair by themselves or with a cardigan if you need to look that way. At any rate, love a lot of their styles and browsing there, just need to make more money to afford it read more

This anthro is great but for some reason I don't think their selection is as great as other stores Ive been to. Nonetheless the girls who work here are always willing to order things online for me and have it shipped in store for me. Returns are also very easy here so that's pretty awesome. I have a few dresses from here, and they are unique and well-made. They were originally over $100, but I got them on sale. I also have gotten some shirts for second cut so that they are $20. A lot of their clothes have gotten sheer which also means that their thinness is susceptible to rips and holes. Sales are at 12:01 am on Tuesday, and most items do go on sale and some on second cut popback. The home section is inspiring. Love it! Colorful, whimsical, eclectic, and functional. I am a fan of this location though it is smaller than others. I generally pop in once a week just to check the store out and be inspired. I avoid this place during holidays because it does get packed. read more

Disappointing how every time I want to shop or browse this store I get the "special treatment" from all employees. I am never greeted at the door like all other shoppers around me, but throughout my stay as I'm looking around and picking items out that interest me, I am asked DOZENS of times by every single employee if I need any help with anything. Its absolutely frustrating because I do love this store so much, but I notice as I'm there, all employees are keeping their eye on me. I am not suspicious, as I am keeping to myself and looking around at all the store has to offer. It's embarrassing and I shouldn't be subjected to any sort of rush to leave (this is what it feels like). I may have to begin limiting my shopping here to online only. read more

i have been to several anthro stores throughout the country and this one was really small, with very little to choose from even in clothes. The sale rack/room was the size of my small bathroom, and the home area was seriously lacking in quantity of anything. Very disappointed to drive 40 min, which is the closest store to me, only to be in and out in maybe 10 min cuz of how little they had. It's my favorite store, I was just hoping for more, but have to settle for in line shopping i suppose. read more
