Like all Plato's, they are very selective on the items they buy from you, so if you are selling, don't expect much. I do like how there are several fitting rooms in the store, so there is not much guesswork while shopping. Compared to other thrift stores, Plato's is on the higher price end, considering they do not just accept any donations. Overall, I love a good Plato's trip and will be back!

One thing I noticed was that there were some nice patterns in the materials used plus they appeared to be of a good quality. They also had some jewelry. Given the location isn't in a regularly traveled mall for clothings, they seem to keep the business going. Though I didn't find anything this time, I would still go back and have another look. Having never shopped at a boutique before, my experience at Desert Bloom Downtown was fabulous…read more Claudette found the perfect outfit for the rock concert I attended the following night. She could tell my size by just looking at me and she nailed the look. It was something in many ways out of my wheelhouse. It totally worked and I felt like a million dollars. I even bought an additional top that will be my go-to in the fall! I have seen expensive, designer clothing at other stores, so I would say that the prices are reasonable. One of the tops could be purchased for between $20-30 less at the designer website. Other than that, I thought that the prices were in line with my expectations. Claudette, I wore the teal Inoah top with the coral pants and beige flats as you suggested. Thank you, thank you!

But I have to say I was extremely impressed with Clique. I was in Tucson this weekend for a wedding that I knew wasn't formal...more on the informal side....but I still had nothing to wear and I always like to look my best. My cousin was holding the Chupah for the wedding, so she wanted to wear something extremely flattering as well, since everybody would see her. She shops at Clique all the time and we both needed dresses...so lets start the fun! The clothing in the store was not overly priced and everything that they had was flattering to a girl/woman's body. I could have walked away with the whole store...but then I remembered that I was very poor...:) Also, I have to say that for somebody who can NEVER find anything on a sales rack...I picked up 2 shirts and an adorable skirt. I can't wait to go to Tucson again so I can go shopping! (Oh, and to the amazing dive bars that they have...but that is another story for another time)

My experience with the customer service has been somewhat similar. Some of the ladies are very task-oriented and can come across as inconveniencing customers when they are focused on what they need to get done. Others are friendlier and, at times, genuinely helpful. I've learned to go in with fairly low expectations when it comes to customer service, but I still enjoy stopping in because I've found some fun items there that make the experience worthwhile. This is my first ever 1 star review congrats lids!…read more Had bought a hat here for my dad and turned out it didn't fit him. Went to return it the following day and they refused to exchange or give me my money back due to it being "over used" when I had bought it the previous day? Mind you, not everyone is a "hat" expert and doesn't know what size to buy or different types of fitting. I was told the hat I bought was too used to return but I proceeded to show them hats even dirtier that they were selling at full price in the store. They said it wasn't their problem and one of the employees even stated she "hated her job" and couldn't care. Jonathan the "manager" was completely unprofessional and was not willing to give us any cooperate information to contact and refused to acknowledge the disgusting hats being sold. I was told I would have no luck getting my money back anywhere neither with lids or the cooperate once I was given the information after 20minutes. At the end I got my money back in full despite them laughing at me and my dad in front of customers and my family. Beyond disgusted with all the employees at lids and managers. This place has serious issues and wouldn't recommend anyone to shop here.
