The Tucson Thrift Shop actually connects with a pass through with another store called, The Other Side. I don't know if they're two separate shops or one big one, but they sold the same type of vintage clothes, costume jewelry, and costumes perfect for any occasion. The staff were friendly, but stayed behind the counter and offered a nice smile and said hello when you entered the store and have a nice day when you left. They certainly dressed as if they shopped at their own store and had enough tie dyed shirts to make any deadhead happy. If you're in town, it's definitely worth a peek inside. Rather than making us feel welcome, we were made to feel like our family was an inconvenience. It was uncomfortable enough that we decided not to continue shopping. It's especially disappointing because the store has a dedicated children's area, which naturally suggests families are welcome. If children aren't actually encouraged, that should be made clear. She is very personable and willing to help in any way possible. Which is refreshing. The Boutique is decorated nicely and the prices are very good for well made clothes. Something that usually does not go together. Nicely made clothes at a good price. I found two tops I wanted to try on. Merri said if anything does not fit to let her know and she will get another. The dressing rooms were so clean and cute. Decorated beautifully. I ended up buying two shirts that were as unique and the boutique. Merri stated she goes and picks out the clothes herself to put in her store and it shows with quality. They also sell Bread,soap and Earrings. I live across town but will return each time I'm on that side because it's hard to find well made clothes, beautifully styled, at a reasonably price. Most the sizes I saw were S,M,L.
