Since the store only carries regular-length pants, I decided to order the items I liked online in both regular and petite lengths to compare the fit. I was actually surprised to find that I preferred the cut of the linen pants from the Factory Store over the ones at the regular Banana Republic. I had fully expected to like the more expensive Banana Republic version better and planned to buy those instead. For the items from my online order that didn't work out, the return process at the Factory Store was quick and easy, which made the whole shopping experience even better.

There is usually someone who will offer to start a dressing room for you which is helpful. Their sizes are different than most places, going from 0 to 4 with sometimes there being a .5 at the end of the number. For someone not familiar with their clothes, it is helpful to know how the size compares to typical sizes. They usually have things on sale in a marked area by size and color. Those not on sale are divided by color typically. In the rear of the store are the clothes called energy which are more casual and I really like them a lot. In the rest of the store, it is the Chicos name. I often find something there I can't live without and unfortunately, not always on sale. The quality is very good and they last for a long time. I'll continue to go back every now and then. It is worth it to me.

I was amazed at the selection of, well, everything! Most items there were not my style(I'm not a cowgirl) but they had some really cute plaid men and women's shirts that were on sale, so I snagged a couple for me and the hubby. Anyway, back to the boots. Ms. Colleen was the sweetest and most attentive sales woman I have ever encountered. She didn't make fun of me for not wanting to wear an animal and didn't try to pressure me with any up-selling. Colleen listened to what I wanted and after only a few selections, hit the nail on the head and I walked out with an adorable pair of black boots for $90. They also have a great selection of Dickie girl pants for just $29.99. I plan on coming back here for some of those and probably a few more plaid shirts as well. Thank you Colleen and Dirk for making this city girl feel welcome.

The laundry room stunk to high heaven because of a dead rat (he found it) and there were signs of rats (rat poop) in the kitchen cabinets. When he pointed these things out to her, she said she would have workmen to come to fix things, but it never happened. Finally my son told her he could not stay there and he needed to end the lease because the place was not habitable. She agreed he could end the lease on June 30 and she would give him his security deposit back. He left the place In the same condition it was found (we documented this). For a few weeks she texted back-and-forth that she would be returning the security deposit as soon as she could, always giving another excuse (she needed to speak to her bookkeeper or figure out how much would be deducted for June utilities, etc.). Then she just ghosted him. She no longer returns emails, texts or answers her phone for either of us. We are now in the process of taking her to small claims court. Alexis, I will take down this review as soon as you make good on your promises to my son. I am retired and I have plenty of time to pursue this.
