Went to look at the store clothes were sized as o to 4 with no sign on how to determine your size. Since I didn't see anything appealing, I didn't bother asking. I came here to pick up an order today and had a very interesting experience. Everyone was very friendly and helpful when I walked in. The store was clean as always, with a great selection of clothes. I've always enjoyed the store because of the variety of sizes that they offer for everybody, although the prices are pretty crazy. I was very surprised at the clothing that the associates were wearing, and it actually rubbed me the wrong way quite a bit. One of the girls was wearing a spaghetti strap covered with a sweater that was hanging all the way off of her shoulder, and it exposed her bra. Another individual in the store was a very large Male, who was wearing a crop top. His belly was exposed, and it was hairy. I understand that a lot of businesses are becoming very inclusive and allow people to dress however they want to highlight their beliefs and individuality, but I also believe that there is a time and place for everything, including being a professional in your workplace. read more

Employees were VERY kind. However, if you have a big chest size, like g+, (I'm "blessed" with 36 j/k cups) I wouldn't recommend even going in person. This being a plus size store, I thought I'd be fitted properly in store to at least know what size to get online...as ALL torrid stores ONLY carry up to a DDD cup in store; which is beyond irritating and dissatisfying since even Victoria's Secret, a non plus size store at least has a few g cups in store now. One employee, whom measured me in front of a trainee, told me i should be a DDD after me saying i lost 30 lbs. which yes, technically your cup size changes after loosing and gaining weight. But there's no way my 19 year old granny saggy breasts that weigh 14 lbs will fit a ddd. I tried beforehand, and...yea nope. (But both ladies were very sweet and welcoming! Just wish torrid would be plus size for us plus size breasted women. read more

I've been meaning to give Torrid a shot and I finally took the plunge. The selection was okay I guess; I only really wanted to try two things on but I did leave the store with a purchase. My sister seemed to like their selection more than I did and she ended up finding a great pair of pants for her interview. The prices were pretty fair too, especially after walking through Dillard's to get there. The service is what really made our visit though. The sales rep on hand was very informative, and before we knew it we were laughing and having a good time. My sister later said that she seemed like she'd be cool to hang out with. I absolutely love Torrid and the clothing it has as I'm a tenured credit card holder. So this review is SPECIFICALLY for the employee who wore a purple t-shirt and blue grandma jeans. YOU. ARE. RUDE. if someone walks into a store you should acknowledge them. I could give a f--k if you are busy helping another customer find a shirt. A quick simple "hi, welcome" would suffice someone entering the store. Secondly she not only failed to acknowledge me as I'm waiting at the counter (AFTER she finished helping the other customer) she actually did some work to help the other woman find my package that was delivered. But instead of "sorry for the long un-acknowledged wait" she simply put my package on the counter and put a mark n their log and left it at that. She said nothing to me! Like maybe "Thank you for your order, have a good day, etc. " but no. Why she did neglect to speak to me specifically??? Have no idea...maybe because I'm black? Lol Eh who knows. But I've NEVER had this type of non customer service at this store. So beware of the older lady with the purple tshirt and grandma blue jeans. And word of advice--working at a premier-ish/semi upscale nice clothing store, you should invest in their clothing so you look the part and not like you walked out of goodwill. Not cute. read more

This store is the best. I love the mall but I come here for the service that I get especially from Gabby!!! Twice now she has been the most polite associate I have had the pleasure of being waited on by. She's honest, helpful and a kind human being. That should actually scream volumes but I will go a bit farther to explain. A woman knows when another woman is blowing air up her skirt and Gabby ISN'T THAT GIRL! She is honest about how the clothes look and fit you. That in itself is invaluable plus she knows what she's talking about. Corporate needs to have more of her types in all their stores. You will actually sell more clothes. The ones I ditched that didn't work for me, with Gabby's advice, don't compare to the ones I ended up walking out with. I spent triple the amount I had decided upon before entering the store but I'm happy I did. No buyers regret here!!! The next time I plan to go shopping I am literally going to call to make sure she is working that day. read more

If you are a voluptuous lady, shopping sucks. Torrid is your only saving grace outside of Forever 21. The mall is a lonely place for us. The quality is often lacking, but you can find cute, trendy clothing. At Halloween time and pool time, this place is aces. I try to get just about every Hello Kitty t-shirt they carry. Definitely, signup for their diva program to get in store discounts. They are always having a sale, which is nice. Esp. half off clearance. read more

Now most times I come in here, the employees are very helpful. I could easily spend $250 every time because I like everything. They ask if I am looking for anything in particular and usually I am, for an event or party. They get me a fitting room and then bring over several other items that I may like that are in my size. The only complaint that I have is that the torrid brand jeans rip really easy and aren't the best quality. The shirts, shorts and dresses are great though. Last time I was in though, the employees were too involved in gossiping about other customers or employees and I couldn't keep their attention enough to get any help with finding something. sort of obsessed with this place! it was my first time going into it. From the window I was worried it was going to be some cheap/slutty clothes and I didn't really want to go in. But my friend persuaded me and I'm so glad she did. We found some amazing pieces that fit me so well! some were definitely not great quality, but we found some really good pieces that I'm happy with. And I bought two of their bras and am completely happy with how well they are holding up. seems to be even better quality than Cacique from LB. The biggest surprise was the dressing room. it's well lit with flattering light. the mirror is an entire wall, and each room has their own fan - so you can make sure you stay cool while whipping on/off all your items. As a plus-sized woman who likes to think she has good style, I'm always looking for new clothing to help me keep up my impeccable tastes. Haha. Every time I shop at this location I am met with friendly, very helpful and attentive service. It's nice because it is not as packed or busy as the Tucson mall Torrid. I seem to see a lady by the name of Ashley there and recently a girl named Jenny. They have to be my favorites. Ashley is always showing me the newest items they have and Jenny is really funny and talks with you like you have been friends for years. They always take your items and hold a dressing room for you. I know it is a tactic to get you to try more stuff on, but hey, I was going to do that anyway, so I'll bite! It's nice to go into a place where everything fits, I get to wear things that have single digit sizes and it's not all made for Grannies. Good stuff! read more

I hate shopping.. but the ladies in this store made it such a positive experience! I came in looking for one dress and left with three dresses. They were all so helpful and have great feedback and suggestions. The store was very organized and clean. I can't wait to replace my entire wardrobe with the entire store. It feels amazing to try on real clothes and know that they will fit!! The ladies in the store were very patient with me as I made my selections and willing to call another store to find the dress in my size! positive customer service experience!
