My friend and I went here for the best friend awkward photo shoot. The photographer was very friendly and had lots of ideas for us in addition to the ideas we had. I will say if you're looking for photo pricing online it's not very clear. In my opinion it was pricey for department store photos. But the pictures came out good and we have some great memories. Took my daughter for a haircut today after booking an appointment. Terrible mistake. The hairdresser Sandra said about 5 phrases the whole appointment. Hello. Follow me. How do you want your hair. I'll meet you up front. Horrible experience for my 9 year old. Other stylist were having conversations with the kids, and at least smiled. If this stylist was having a bad day she should've canceled out appointment or passed us on to another stylist who could give us an at least decent experience. She also sent my daughter out with soaking wet hair, said nothing at end of the haircut other than meet you up front. This is my favorite location. It's newer and more up to date than other locations. I also noticed it is more organized. I found some great deals last time I was in. I don't like having to go to the front of the store rather than having registers throughout. But, I didn't wait long and the cashier was very friendly. I also visited the salon. Brianna did a great job and fixed a mess from one of the other locations. This location is out of my way but it's worth it and there's a lot of other good stores and restaurants in the area. read more

Went into this location today. Store looked ok, better than it has in a long time However It's stuffed full of generic weird brands borrowed from the dark side of the moon. Very ugly plain dishes piled on tables in every color no one would want and when did no packaging become the style ?? Penney's used to have the Best Drapery and curtain departments on the planet but not anymore. Even that's turned to ugly generic crap I wouldn't line my garbage can with, every type had ring holes with metal grommets stapled to cards hanging on pegs . The Housewares department was much the same, generic brands and low quality , that of WalFart !! Their credit rating must be that of being offered low quality goods in abundance just get it off the boats from China. Overall it was really salad to see !! And the really bad music was so loud and very distracting, can't say that I'd ever go back again. JC Penney's used to be a classy store but seems really trashy these days !!! read more

This place always surprises me! When I think of JCPenney I remember going there as a kid with my mom and I never think to shop there as a parent, myself. And when I think "Oh maybe JCPenney, will have something like that" , and then I go and they do! I have found so many cool shirts, sweaters, jackets, and dressy clothes for my 10 year old son. They always have an amazing sales and if you join their rewards program, you save even more. Now for women's clothing they have some really cute clothes and they are true to size.This location is also a plus because they have a Sephora in the center of the store. They also have a salon in the back (Tanya is amazing). Now there only downfall is that the staff really isnt on point. They always seem very confused and when asked a question they can steer you wrong. Except the ladies in Sephora, they are amazing. read more

During our weekend ventures, the baby and I went to JC Penney's in search of clothing we probably didn't need and some perfume. After walking around the store we made our way into the Sephora located inside of this store. We were greeted by Thomas, who was just delightful. He was charismatic, provided recommendations and was totally patient with me. He was truly the epitome of great customer service. His attentiveness was on point but not overbearing, clear communication skills, knowledge of products (especially the samples he gave us), use of positive language and obviously closing the sale! I wish they could clone him and put him all around the store! read more

As with everything in this shopping plaza, expect to have to deal with massive crowds of people. I don't know what it is, but there really doesn't seem to be a slow time to hit theses stores up. Product selection is good and customer service seemed reasonable, although maybe slightly absent. There seem to always be sales, and from what my wife tells me, often there are really incredible deals on women's attire. Good place to get business casual items. read more

Sephora girls are always Genuinely Nice, especially Johna, i love her style! The salon girls and guy are awesome too, they have an outgoing Manager who is a true people person, as the saying goes " Lead by example" I have never had my hair done there before , I shop ( use to , temp. W/out a job :0).) there for hair products and they have a nice selection of the newest OPI nail polish. And....they accept the $10 off $25 rewards coupon! Like my Friend , the Yelp Tucson Guru Natasha Chappotin, said , the rest of the staff is just not like sephoras or the salon. They are not nice, they aren't rude, but its like they are mute . The only ones that talk are the cashiers. A few months ago i tried to return a $50 faux leather backpack that i had bought for my daughter, it ripped everywhere! Within 2 months, i didn't have a receipt i just wanted store credit, a dept manager was called over, she spoke to the cashier in front of me and Never even acknowledged me, lol I'm telling you they must be customer Mute , so they wanted to give me like $4! I said never mind and left, I was going to complain to corp but i didn't. Im so glad i wAs introduced to Yelp! By the Tucson Guru. Word of Mouth is the best and most effective! On 11/04/18 I ordered online, 2 mens' denim shirts. One was in stock in store, the other had to be shipped to store. I picked up first Levi shirt in store 11/4/18. On 11/6/18 I received an email that they were working on the order for the 2nd shirt. Today 11/20/18 I finally called the customer service # to find out where the shirt was. They referred me to the local store I had chosen to pick up at, El Con Mall. I called and the menswear clerk told me she showed that there was a package there for me and she would get it ready for pick up. Within an hour I arrived at the store. The clerk went to get item and never came back. Instead a guy arrived to tell me that they had not received the shirt-the shipment had arrived short-meaning the shirt was not there. I complained about getting no notice of shipment or arrival, but yet Paypal account had been charged. I had him check if the store stocked this Ely Cattleman shirt-NOT! He offered for me to wait longer to see if it showed up. It already missed the birthday it had been intended for, and after no contact by the store for the last 14 days, I took the next offer of a refund. Employee said the company has been operating like this since he has been there- Not notifying customers when there is a problem or delay. I told him JCPenney can kiss my ASS goodbye! read more
