I was never a big Target shopper until my daughters showed me the app. I never knew that the app had coupons you can clip and they get taken off at the register. How easy is that? Now I shop at Target more often. The store is always nice and clean. There have a great selection of each item that you are looking for at a good value. I've shopped at Target for many years, and I've never had an issue before. However, I purchased a collector box of Pokémon cards from the Irvington store. When I went home and opened it, none of the items were inside. It was just a bunch of old baseball and Yugioh cards that were taped inside with blue duct tape. Reached out to the store manager and customer service and they refused to refund me or give me a replacement. Was told that the cards are through a vendor and it's beyond their control. They did give me the number for guest relations and when I called them, I was told the same thing. From there, they gave me the manufacturer's contact info, but when I contacted the manufacturer, they said they could not help me either. In the end, I lost 130 dollars and it was not my fault. It's a real shame that the store doesn't know for certain if items contain what they should. I reached out to the BBB regarding this matter and hopefully I get refunded one way or another. As a consumer, this is absolutely unacceptable. Shame on you Target. read more

I had been looking for a purse since Aug 2017. I always want a specific design. I like a small one, with a handle instead of a shoulder strap, and two pockets inside, plus a pocket with a zipper. COULDN'T FIND IT ANYWHERE in Green Valley. I knew I had to go to Target. I walked in on 9/20/17, and the FIRST purse I saw fit the bill! One of the pockets was on the outside instead of the inside, but I could work with that. I decided to look for a pair of tennies since I was starting an exercise class soon, and I had had success before, in OH, buying shoes at Target. I had gone twice to a local sports store recently and also to department stores to no avail. Again, the first pair of shoes I tried on was perfect! They fit well, and the price was within my budget. The last thing I'll mention that I LOVE about ALL Target stores is that there's no waiting to check out! There are ALWAYS cashiers available. I've seen that in every store I've ever visited. Clean! We popped in to grab some supplies and coffee before heading out. They have a lot of parking and a lot of customers- so busy. But with all the foot traffic, the store is so clean, well stocked, and plenty of employees. We grabbed our stuff and checked out without having to wait in line too long. This location is not my favorite as I feel it is always PACKED with people; however, this weekend it may have changed. I walked in through the front doors and noticed it was packed as usual but there was a different ambiance. The store appeared cleaner than usual and the $1 section at the very front of the store (near the bathrooms) was clean. Yes, there were things that were misplaced but it wasn't all over the place like I've experienced before. The baby and I strolled through the women's section of clothing, through lingerie, kids, toys and home furnishings, decor and seasonal items. I was pleased to find clean aisles with nothing thrown around. As previously stated, not everything was in its place but it wasn't on the ground being continuously trampled over. The store was clean! We were also greeted by three associates throughout our perusing. They had there name tags in clear view, they asked if we needed help with anything, and moved on. As we checked out, our cashier notified us to check on-line at Target.com for potential price matching of any of the items we were purchasing. Not one of my favorite Target store but it's close to the house; I prefer going to the one on Oracle it seems to be a lot larger and cleaner, although all the cashiers seem to be friendly the store could use a little bit of touching up when it comes to customer service. I was shopping for Shipt (their company) and as I was walking out I got another notification of an order with like 2 items, so I ran back in because more money, why not? When I went back in the security team started following me. Mind you I had a Shipt mask on. Target Run? This Target didn't get the memo that nationally Target is sinking millions into ads to persuade consumers that it's quick and easy and did I say quick to shop there. I needed a winter jacket for a trip out east and had my choice of several stores in the area. Chose Target because they're fast, right? I picked out a jacket and went to check out. Only two checkout lines open despite the fact that one of the lines was ten customers deep. The other line had four customers so that must be the faster one. What could go wrong? Fifteen minutes later, I'm still waiting to check out. I was behind a woman buying 20 gift cards and a guy who was trying to pick up an expired online order. So why am I dinging Target? It's the closest Target to my house, so I keep going back. The place, more often then not, is a zoo. Heck, just the behemoth parking lot to this complex is insane. It's new construction and I wonder to this day why they designed this area in such a wasteful, sprawling way. Target is Target--the store has the same things as most any other in the chain. There just always seem to be way too many clueless, inconsiderate people shopping here. Cashiers seem friendly enough though. Included in this branch is a pharmacy, some simple food items and a Starbucks coffee shop. read more

Open Box item Buyer Beware! I decided to take my chances at Black Friday yesterday. Although there was nothing worthwhile on sale, I came across what I thought was a great As-Is/Open Box deal. There was a set of Parrot Zik 3 wireless headphones (retail price $400, marked down to $195). Everything looked fine from the exterior (no damage to the box, the security stickers intact). I decided to buy them. As I was checking out, I asked the cashier if I could return them like any normal item if there was a problem, and she assured me that the regular return policy applied. I get home (to Phoenix) and take the headphones out of the box. They power on fine. There is an app for them I install on my phone, but it refuses to pair with them. That's odd, I think to myself. I then start looking through the support documentation and realize the headphones in my possession don't look quite like the Zik 3's. Lo and behold, I am in possession of the 1st generation Zik headphones! I'd been ripped off. What I think happened is that some scammer bought the Zik 3s, swapped the old headphones in, and returned them to Target for a full refund. The target employees failed to inspect the item and simply put them back on the shelf. Then some sucker (i.e. me) comes along and scoops them up. Now here's where Target's poor customer service rears its ugly head. I go to my local Target (since this one is a 2 hr drive away from home) and explain the situation to them. They refuse to take it back, insisting that I return it to the store I purchased from. They are unsympathetic to the huge inconvenience and cost the trip would be. A call to corporate yielded the same stonewalling. Now I either am stuck with headphones I overpaid for (the 1st gens retail for $150) or face a 4 hour roadtrip to make the return. I have long be a loyal Target shopper, and this will make the think twice before patronizing them again. tl;dr don't buy any open box stuff here, you might be a victim of fraud and will be SOL read more

This is usually my "go-to" Target. I amazed at how well they keep it stocked dispite the heavy traffic. It is normally cleaner than the Walmart near here. There is almost never any employee presence, however. I do love that they have scanners to check prices There is now a Starbucks here. The bathrooms are the biggest drawback. They are in dire need of a remodel/ upgrade. The snack bar has recently been reopened. It is hard to resist the smell of popcorn when you walk in. read more

I can't honestly say I ever had an amazing shopping experience there but I don't look for that when I'm trying to grab a few necessities and get out. I have been surprised this past year by the thrifty mens Henley shirts I found this past winter. Very comfortable. I'm also glad they have bananas there for a decent price as it's my emergency snack food. Plus there is enough groceries to make great meals if you don't want to have to go to another store that day. The worst part about target is the parking lot. Often under survived and the "security" guard couldn't chase down a toddler, I'm sorry but I've seen one very aged man and he gets scarred when I say hi, probably because I catch him off guard. There are lots of security hazards(burglars) in that lot especially around the holidays so always make sure to lock your car and never leave anything of value out. I had a friend have his rim covers stolen within 15 mins. So they should definitely throw up a few cameras and have them monitored. read more

So, In theory the Target CEO, has decided in the best I interest of our customers, and employees, amongst an array of other drastic and "Exponentially Life Improving and Life saving decisions" had to he made. One if them being the complete shutdown of returns? For at least 3 weeks, to say that they fail at even attempting to forewarn you as you make small to large purchases would be a stretch at best. As I put my self in the shoes of the apparently out of touch CEO'S well healed shoes, I began to wonder whether this was so that his employees could spend more time stocking their bare shelves? Shelves are still empty, with no return in sight, so it's a NO to that option. OH- Maybe it's so that a person who could potentially be infected with COVID 19, doesnt return the merchandise that they've been couching and sneezing on for any number of days now? My question to that theory is, what about the boxes that come from factories here in America, and from abroad...did he stop accepting packages period, from anywhere? NOT. Has he also passed a mandatory store policy that all persons entering the store, wanting to spend their $, has to have their temperature taken upon entrance to Target, or have they begun drive thru service/pickup service in mass...NOT! I left puzzled at why because I purchased an item that not only did not live up to what was advertised, who knows maybe it blows away my daughter's expectations, but it did not work! Because I was laid off, this was my attempt at my daughter entertaining herself, when iam not doing my damndest to do so myself, which is literally 10hrs a day right now. I dont have extra money to list buy another item, and sit on this $49.95 for the next 3 weeks. But then again I wouldn't expect Mr. Brian Cornell, and his 2 children to relate in the slightest. Before this "Gig", he was the Exec VP of Safeway, before that the CEO of Michael's, before that the CEO OF Sam's Club, before that the CEO of Pepsi...I can go on for days with his hard earned accolades. This is the Target location I go to most. A Super Target, so groceries are available too! It's always super busy, but I don't mind it too much unless I'm in a hurry, so I dare not go when I'm on a time crunch! There is always a person available when you need them. I don't think I've ever had a problem here. Sometimes they are out of sales items, but as long as you get a raincheck slip, you can pick one up at a later time when the item is back in stock for the sale price. Also, if you want to return or exchange something, you MUST have a receipt! (Unless you have the credit card or checking account number you used at the time of the transaction, they'll make an exception cause they can pull the transaction, otherwise they do not budge on this policy. This Target is ghetto as heck. I live on this side of town and I literally will drive to the other side of town so I don't have to deal with this one. On weekends the kids on this side of town use the parking lot and the store as a hangout spot so they are just pouring in the masses in here. The parking lot is always filled with people almost running into each other and there's tons of trash all over in front of the store. Every time I've come here the trash cans outside are overflowing, and inside is equally as gross. The fresh foods area always has old, expired, or moldy food. Please check the expiration dates if you decide to shop here! The only department that seems to have things in stock here is bedding and the dog beds. In good news, you can always find items that literally are so old that they no longer even exist on the website so if you're looking for something you thought was long gone, pretty sure you'll find it here. Line wait times are always long, and return lines are usually long because they share the 10 Items or Less line. What I can't stand most about this Target in particular is everything in clothing, accessories, and shoes is always thrown all over the ground or unpackaged. read more

This is actually for the Starbucks in this store. They make good drinks, but are extremely slow! If one store can make drinks in minutes of ordering, even when they are busy, all should be able to. The Target store is actually pretty nice. It is clean and organized. The staff could be a bit friendlier. Overall it is alright. read more

Service is decent, place is worst than a zoo. If you like mayhem please visit this target. Always overcrowded (not targets fault, just the area). The low rating is for the overall experience though. Target has some ok deals, i just go to walmart though. Parking isnt good either, i would recc another location. read more
