My only complaint...the stocks on the floor, or misplaced stock...same at all the stores! Ha-ha-ha! My wife loves this store for the items she can pick up, mainly from the Home and Garden section. Bargain or not...? I accompany her to the store as I find it the duty of every loving husband to play the cart-pusher and security guard...and driver! And payer, first and foremost! Ha-ha-ha! But I do pick up some items in the store. Mainly, at the food section. And most of the times, the trail mixes! I have a feeling that I might get it cheaper somewhere...but the nice thing about it is that it's there and it's there now! I can order it from Amazon, and maybe cheaper too...but I want to be driving home munching on the trail mix, and not a second more! I've also picked up a few business shirts at a price lower than I could find from the outlet stores nearby. Maybe. Sometimes, a wall picture/painting or two for my office. Or cat food for my neighbour's cat (seems to stay with us more than my neighbour's...Ha-ha-ha!) It has everything and anything you think you want! Great for killing time...and keeping the BOSS happy!

Lo and behold, I would get to the front of the line, and she would still be gone. That's probably one of the reasons I used to avoid Marshalls, Ross, and Burlington as an adult. I've done quite a bit of shopping at the aforementioned stores in the past year, and I can confidently say that mom was onto something. Marshalls has a large selection of items at different price points, so there is something for everyone. They have a lot of smaller items at low prices that can be used as stocking stuffers or in DIY gift baskets for the holidays. It does get messy sometimes, but it's usually not too bad.

But the auto center messed up the star rating when they gave my ex gf a horrible experience a few weeks ago. She went there ti buy and install 4 new tires. The guy in auto center was rude. Plus the installers overinflated her tires up to 12 pounds. Not sure why they would do that crap. Her door jam clearly says 30 pounds. Why would you put 42 pounds in her tires ???? So it can cause premature tire wear or just negligence?? Additionally, they fooled around with her positive battery terminal and left it loose. So her car was having issues with starting intermittently and her dash clock kept resetting every time she turned off vehicle. Why would you mess with anything under the hood when you are just changing tires???? Oh, last but not least, they didn't replace her valve stems and they ruined one of them. I swear I wish I were there when she took her vehicle there. I would've made them do everything right or give us a full refund and take your tires back. I swear.

Apparently Trying On Clothes Is Now an Exclusive Luxury…read more My wife went to Target at approximately 7 PM on a Wednesday. Not 10:58 PM. Not five minutes before closing. Seven. PM. This particular Target closes at 11pm She spent roughly an hour and a half shopping for clothes, carefully selecting a pile of items to try on. Like a reasonable human being, she then went to the fitting room. Closed. She spoke with a manager, who explained that they "didn't have enough staff" to open the fitting room. Interesting. Because there were five employees standing around in Cosmetics, engaged in an extremely important corporate initiative known as "doomscrolling & gossiping" My wife even offered to put all the clothes back herself. Still no. Apparently the store could not spare one person to operate the fitting room, but also could not accept the offer from the customer to return everything to the racks herself, which the staff would've had to do regardless if she got to try the clothes on, and purchase them, or not. So after spending 90 minutes selecting clothes, she got to experience the thrilling Target customer journey of: 1. Pick out clothes. 2. Carry clothes to fitting room. 3. Discover fitting room is inexplicably closed during normal business hours. 4. Ask manager for assistance. 5. Be told there isn't enough staff. 6. Offer to solve the staffing problem herself. 7. Get told no. 8. Put everything back anyway. 9. Leave without buying anything. Absolutely masterful. I understand being understaffed. I understand employees having legitimate responsibilities. What I don't understand is telling a customer you can't spare an employee to open a fitting room while simultaneously having multiple employees standing around, and then refusing the customer's offer to handle the return of the merchandise herself. The end result? Target spent 90 minutes of my wife's time and generated exactly $0 in revenue, and the staff worked the same amount they would have anyway. Next time we'll just order the clothes online and let the warehouse employees perform the ancient ritual of putting them into a cardboard box.

This time, I went…read morein with a strategy: I focused only on tops and shopped only the XS section, working my way through one rack at a time. In about an hour, I pulled around 18 pieces to try on and found several great additions to my summer wardrobe while staying within my budget. The only frustration was that many items in the XS section were mixed with M, L, and other sizes, making it a little harder to shop efficiently. The associates at the register were friendly and professional, and they listened when I shared feedback about the loud music in the fitting rooms. Overall, I'm glad I finally found a shopping method that works for me. What used to feel intimidating now feels manageable, and I left with some wonderful pieces for my summer wardrobe.

Very disappointing online pickup experience…read more I went to the Brea Nordstrom Rack on Sunday, August 9 around 1:30 p.m. to pick up an online order. As you walked in, there are two signs advertising "Buy online for fast and easy pickups." Unfortunately, my experience was anything but fast or easy. I asked a cashier where to go for online pickup, and she directed me to a checkout line that extended all the way to the back of the store and appeared to have at least 75 people waiting, most of whom were making regular in-store purchases. I got in line, but remembered that on previous visits there had been an employee specifically handling online pickups. I decided to ask another cashier if someone was handling online orders. She was very kind and understanding and said she would ask the manager, Cynthia. I explained that I was frustrated about having to wait in such a long line just to pick up an order I had already purchased online. I was told I would still need to wait in line because Cynthia would go through the queue and process online orders in order. I said that was completely fine and I returned to the line. I was the second person in line who was there solely for an online pickup. Cynthia left to the back of the store to retrieve our orders. About 10 minutes later, I noticed that she had returned to the register assisting customers in line, yet had both of our online orders sitting in a basket behind her. This is where the experience became especially frustrating. Cynthia walked right past us on her way back to the registers but left us standing in the long checkout line, even though she had already retrieved our orders. I eventually had to ask another employee to get my order so I could leave. Only then did Cynthia take the other customer's order to her, after that customer had also been left waiting in line. I completely understand that stores get busy and employees have a lot to manage. What I don't understand is why customers who had already paid for their orders online were left standing in a huge checkout line when our orders had already been retrieved and were literally sitting behind the register. The cashier who initially helped me was kind and professional, and I appreciate her trying to help. My frustration is specifically with how the manager handled the situation. If Nordstrom Rack advertises "fast and easy pickups," I think customers should reasonably expect an online pickup to be handled differently from a regular purchase checkout. This was neither fast nor easy, and the way the manager handled it made the situation much more frustrating than it needed to be.
