Self checkout is not as fast anymore since the east side kiosks were shut down. Had to wait a few minutes until a checkout was vacated. Target's pricing for dairy is lower than Albertson's. Watch out for dumb drivers that do not know how to yield at the intersection and stop sign! I had the right of way but I was not expecting dummy to cut me off! What an idiot! read more

This target is massive, one of the biggest in the area, with a large grocery section and an optometrist office inside as well. It's located in a shopping center so there is plenty of parking. The store itself is ok, I actually don't love this store, and always preferred the La Habra location when I lived in the area. Customer service here is average. Upon learning that my friend had a second job Isabel ghosted my friend and later sent an email taking back the offer. I brought my son and his friend in today so I went in thinking I didn't need a shopping cart. They wanted to get some tennis balls and legos. I wanted to browse Christmas decor. Keyword BROWSE. Well I failed. I ended up with new sheets and a comforter. As I carried my impulse items across the store, they got heavy. I reached the Christmas section and as the ginger haired worker with glasses who was busy stocking items in the Christmas section if he wouldn't mind if I set my items down while I ran to grab a cart real quick. He was so kind and offered to grab one for me. I was super appreciative of that. I wish I got his name but I hope he knows how grateful I am of him for doing that. read more

Probably my favorite Target in Fullerton area. Everytime I come here, it's always clean, organized, and parking is easy! They offer both regular and self-checkout here and there's two sides for self-checkout which means there's usually no lines here. This location particularly is always stocked with all of the things I need. My last trip here was for some ketchup, a food scale, and batteries. I was in and out of there in maybe 15 minutes. If you're also looking for some affordable value items, definitely check out their $1-$5 section located right by one of their front entrances. I've once found a planner here for $5 and it was so worth it. A plus to this location is that there is an Electrify America charger, so you can shop and then charge your car! There are 4 chargers but it goes by pretty quick. Whenever I go to Target, I always try to visit this one. read more

This is the closest Target to my home, and I've had great experiences shopping here, both in-store and through curbside pickup. I really love the new return process--they can look up your receipt using the card you paid with, which is super helpful if you've lost it. It makes returns much faster and more efficient. Just wanted to share an experience with a racist employee here. Her name is M_A_N_D_Y. I paid with multiple $20 and she felt the need to scan every single bill yet an Asian woman paid with two $100 bills before me and she didn't scan those bills. when I called her out, that if she didn't trust me she should scan them all, she said she was going to and whispered something under her breathe about Mexican. HR should do better in hiring people as a manger or giving them a new position cause some employees get talked to bad in a rude manager and it seems to be the male ones which is not ok!!!! Employees should be able to report to HR without being scared of this guy or the girl that is close to him. Do your job and make sure your employees are getting treated right. This Target location is selling tampered/fraudulent Home Depot gift cards! On top of this, when they were returned to get new ones, management said they "cannot be returned". They were willing to tell me too bad, you lost your $200 and we won't do anything about it. Very disappointing. Well we didn't leave without getting new cards! We had to demand it.... So much for good customer service. Unfortunately, the cards they replaced the bad ones with were tampered/fraudulent too! Was shopping evening of Friday night (09/19) with my so. and witnessed a female employee verbally harass two confused girls in the home goods aisle. Was speaking to them very loudly in a rude tone accusing them of making a mess of the store which was odd because I had been in the section for a few minutes at that point and had not noticed any inappropriate behavior from the girls. Employee was incredibly hostile and made me and my son very uncomfortable with her confrontation. I quit using my Red Card for months because of a separate issue, but tonight (Friday the 13th), I wanted to get the 5% discount on a double stroller and was extremely frustrated when the app didn't recognize me, or my Red Card and I wasn't able to get the 5% off at the register after trying several times. My daughter, son-in-law and grandbabies were all with me and it was late and I was tired and frustrated. In a last-ditch effort, I brought us all to customer service and Tami not only saved the night, but she prevented me from crossing Target off my list of stores to shop at. She was professional, friendly and apologetic as she explained some sort of change in system involving Red Cards. She went above and beyond for us and not only honored the 5% Red Card discount, but she bumped the savings up a tad and gave us a couple of gift cards on top of that for our trouble. This Target seemed to be getting back on track after the Pandemic, but about a year ago, things really started going downhill. 1. They seem to have fired anyone who has half a brain operational. With a few exceptions, the clerks are rude, unknowledgeable about where anything is, and either ignore you or walk off when it looks like you're going to ask them a question! One tried this on me, and I had to use my D.I. voice to bellow, "HEY! CAN I GET SOME HELP OVER HERE?" Don't bother with the red "Help" kiosks; no one ever shows up. 2. Speaking of being unknowledgeable, the person manning the electronics department seems to know very little about electronics! I asked for a certain common item, he steered me to a blank shelf, then ran off, never to be seen again. Which brings me to: 3. Stock levels: This is one of the smaller Targets, but whoever is buying for it is an idiot. Bare stretches of shelves are frequent. They're under-stocking on some very common and popular items. 4. Treatment of the handicapped: I've gone a number of times with a handicapped friend, and I've lost count of the times the things run out of power, and had to go for help. The carts are old and rickety; some pull to the left, some to the right, and some have flat spots in the tread, causing a thump-thump-thump ride. Just great for someone who already does not feel well, eh? My friend had complained about this all the way to the top, and got an email that basically said, "We're awfully sorry, but can you call us and talk about it?" Nuts! Replace the carts, they're wrecks! If all the supermarkets can keep a good fleet, why can't you? Some CEO would have to do without a new anchor on his yacht? I guess APPEARING to be concerned is better than actually BEING concerned, and DOING something about it. 5. And while we're on the subject, when my handicapped friend and I got to a checkout counter (when there IS one open, usually just one) they never offered to load his heavy purchases into the cart for him! They do this at Albertsons and Stater Brothers, what's wrong with this place? Go to another Target, please. read more

Because of a child sick with a seasonal cold/sore throat in February, we stocked up on chicken noodle soup and cough syrup. During the stay at home order, my Target runs consisted of chocolate bars, plant milk, and tea bags. I also looked at antibiotic ointment as well as painkillers to refill our first aid kit. The art or school supplies are on the opposite side of the building from the groceries. (There was no hand sanitizer a month before the state of emergency was declared for COVID-19.) read more

Last week I bought the Halo Infinite game as a Christmas present. I was not aware that the code to download it was going to be on the ORIGINAL receipt instead of the digital card you grab at the video game section. (Which means that even if I reprinted the receipt through the Target APP, the code won't be there which is ridiculously complicated ) I went to electronics, they couldn't do much about it and directed me to guest relations (understandable) Talked to a woman named Kenia I believe and she was able to make the whole experience as smooth as it can be after explaining my situation. Went and did an even exchange for the same game and was able to print a receipt with a usable code. Quick PSA for anyone buying a video game through Target, DO NOT THROW AWAY THE ORIGINAL RECEIPT WHICH HAS THE DOWNLOADABLE CODE!! If you need to try anything on, do NOT come to this location. It's nowhere near closing and the one fitting room is closed. When I asked around, apparently the fitting room is almost always closed. I love Target so much. So much in fact that I try to stay away for the fear of really, REALLY going overboard on the impulse buying. To avoid the aimless wandering and letting Target "tell" me what I need, I shop online and choose the pick up in store option if I'm iffy about the product and might want to make an immediate return. This is an especially helpful option when the item is low-in-stock/almost sold-out, but I actually want to check it out before I make a long-term commitment of ownership. I stopped by Sunday morning ~10am to pickup my online order. The older gentleman was extremely kind, professional, and helpful. He right away found my order and even walked around the counter to hand it to me. I felt the thin, not soft PJ set and knew it wasn't worth the $24.99 price tag. I got back into guest service line to request a return. The refund amount was $0.10 short of what my credit card was charged. I didn't notice it immediately but cross-referenced my email, and yup, a ten cent difference. I went back up to talk to staff and the same man walked up to register and returned with a dime. Thank you for that! (Obviously no, I did not keep their plastic bag.) But wow, who knew? BEWARE ONLINE SHOPPERS - you're being charged $0.10 cents automatically for a bag. Super weird. This location is very clean and reeeeally well-stocked. Other locations have diddly squat in the $1, $3, $5 area in the front of the store, but this Target is overflowing with goodies. Especially since it was 5 days before Valentine's Day, the section in the back surprisingly still had plenty of options. Clothing, home, and food probably have the biggest selections. HUGE mega target store with everything you need, all in one place. The facilities were clean, the employees were nice, there was a TONN of free parking... I mean can you even ask for more than that? My favorite part about mega targets is that there is just SO MUCH inventory and you don't have to worry about scrambling to another target or ordering something online. This target is set in a huge shopping complex, which makes it super easy to run errands and go with a large family. read more
