Food and service were very good.. unfortunately we were sat in the back close to the kitchen where some kind of an altercation broke out .."F" this F'ing this and that". ...we were finishing up and heard this. A man walked out from the kitchen and I asked if everything was ok? .. he responded with "YEAH! but we're fixin to LEAVE! " ... not what was I was expecting.. bad ending to a nice dinner. We got the burger and the Brussels sprouts. They were both delicious. The bartender was also great and made really good Martini's. Taking one star off for ambiance. It is so incredibly bright in there. They have all these nice little accent lights at each table but they aren't noticeable at all because of the intense overhead lighting. This restaurant is one of my top 10 favorite spots in the city. I'm ashamed to say that I have tried every appetizer on the menu but the spinach & artichoke dip and that's only because artichokes make the back of my throat itch. I have the appetizers in order, starting with the most delicious, Jalapeno Cheddar Hushpuppies, Disco Tots, the broiled oyster and Brussel Sprouts. The staple menu items that I would recommend is Chicken Parmesan, Seared Georgia Mountain Trout, That Double Stack Burger (My Goodness) and the Georgia Peach French Toast. I must make a confession, I'm black. Now that the jig is up let's talk about the Bucket O Chicken, it's just ok. I think it's a good appetizer for a group, the sauces they serve and the cool bucket it comes in are a bonus. The crab & avocado toast includes a lot of crab but the lemon sauce is a distraction. Rude. like it was a burden for me to bring 18 people there on a Wednesday night (their website says We'd. are not busy) and I called to confirm they did not have any reservations in the side hustle. I told them a month before there would be at most 20 people. I was told conflicting info. This was a gathering of parents from a school nearby, most live within 10 minutes of the restaurant and not to mention work nearby. I dined alone at the bar on a Sunday AM. The entertainment was provided by 2 of the slickest bartenders I have seen in a while. Complicated house specials to traditional. Sazeracs seemed to be a favorite this particular AM. Prepared and served textbook style down to the large chunk of ice. The eggs, bacon and tots were tasty. I ordered buckwheat pancakes. They came covered with cream cheese, blueberry jam and maple syrup on the side. Very nice. My first impression was that a person who knows food and has a sense of humor put together the menu. So me and Nancy decided to head to Atlanta for a nice couples trip and along our travels we decided to try Roshambo on a whim. First we were greeted by a wonderful host by the name of James who was proudly wearing his Falcons jersey even though in Arlen, we live and breathe Dallas Cowboys. He was probably the warmest and nicest host I have encountered in quite some time. The last time I got greeted this nice was when Kahn and the Souphanousinphones thought I was moving out of my house. Once we sat at our table we were then greeted with a helpful waitress and the whole time we were greeted with amazing 70s music that set the ambiance. Also the cassette wall next to the bathroom was a great touch! But then we start getting our food and the bread was amazing! Then I decided to get the shrimp and grits with pumpkin ( I know sounds a lil wonky) which was different but familiar at the same time and very good. Hank called me while I was in the restaurant and I told him he had to come, he then just kept talking my head off about Ladybird. I always say the details of a restaurant matter and that was seen in the cleanliness of the bathroom and even their own branded plates which were amazing. Ahhh dare I say is Roshambo one of the best restaurants in Atlanta. Idk what restaurant could contend with them. So I walk in with my family (two teenage girls) with a reservation to an empty restaurant and we are seated at the worst table in the restaurant, asked for another table and got a worse table by the serving station and kitchen, then get attitude when we ask for one of the empties. Is this a thing they train hostesses to do? Is this any way to greet and treat guests with a reservation? Ruined the experience! read more

Did not eat on this occasion, we just had drinks at the bar with Shay. She pays great attention to detail, love that. The Atlanta skyline art on the wall is a great feature to this place. Food and service was fantastic. I really wanted this to be the new go to spot for brunch! Unfortunately the prices for a "diner" are rather steep. Drop the prices of every entree 3-4 dollars and this would be a 5 star review. Hard to stomach an $18 grilled cheese. Hope this place survives but it may be hard with the current price structure. If I want to pay premium prices I would go to a more upscale sopt instead of a place that call themselves a "diner". read more

This place is right up the street from us so we were excited to try it out. I wasn't expecting such an upscale interior but I loved the decor. We had the bucket o chicken upon our waitress' recommendation and it was very good. The chicken was crispy and well seasoned. The burger was juicy and delicious as well. I would not reorder the gulf shrimp but the mezze platter was a great plate to share. Will be coming again! read more

Roshambo was at the Peachtree Farmer's Market in the 'Pop-up Chef' booth and charged $8 and $10 for a veggie or bacon breakfast burrito, respectively, for what should have been considered a breakfast taco. Such a rip-off. Also were giving these tacos in oversized bags. All around, very wasteful. Not the spirit of the Farmer's Market. Stick to the diner! read more

Roshambo or The Diner's Diner was like discovering a well kept secret in Buckhead. The atmosphere was like a fun neighborhood bar but the food is definitely high-end. We had the Friday special, a full rack of ribs, with coleslaw, bake beans, and added a side of tater tots. Everything was delicious. The lemon tort for dessert was amazing! The portions were very generous. Our servers were exceptional. We were treated like VIPs! We will be regulars at this special restaurant. read more

We live up the street and we were hoping this place would become a regular hang out for us. Unfortunately, we have not been impressed with the food and the service still has a few kinks that need to be worked out. This is one of our favorite new spots. The owners have done a fabulous job creating a beautiful space with great ambience. The food is delicious and I love that you can order breakfast, lunch, and dinner any time of the day. The cocktail and wine selections are also great. The service has always been friendly and we have never felt rushed. We recently went on a Wednesday night when they serve their beloved duck meatloaf. This spot could not be sweeter! First of all-the Cacio e Pepe is beyond perfect. Simple, lightly peppered-honestly the best I've had in years. And more importantly- these folks know how to treat their customers. love the ambience of this restaurant. the menu is not huge but you can order breakfast, lunch or dinner all day long. during the week they have specials each night. I got their double stack burger and it was amazing. seasoned and cooked perfectly with cheese, onion, pickles and I added crisp bacon (the cook listened it was cooked nice and crisp) with a homemade dijonaise sauce that just made everything taste better. My husband got the Chicken Parm. buttered cheesey noodles that were NOT covered in marinara sauce (YES) the chicken was so tender, flavorful. had the right amount of cheese and sauce. I've been anticipating this opening for a while now and was really disappointed when I visited opening week. The service from our waitress was one of the worst experiences I've had in a long time. From the moment we sat down, we were being rushed. We had no real welcome or explanation of the menu or anything. We obviously haven't dined there before so an overview would have been nice and it was just a demanding what do you want to drink and eat. Half the food we ordered was great, the other half, not so much. When we sent back one entrée, we were met with attitude, eye rolling, and the waitress and manager did not even ask for any feedback about the food, nor apologize. As a new restaurant, we knew it wouldn't be perfect, but it didn't warrant the attitude we received and the lack of willingness for them to learn more and make it right. From then on we were not asked if we needed anything more, the bill was rudely dropped at our table before we were even finished eating, and it was difficult to order more drinks and dessert without chasing the waitress down. Overall, a few kinks to work out and I won't be back for a while. read more

Great food but atrocious service!!' Our party of 4 had a 7pm reservation but were not seated until almost 7:30! They brought us some champagne while we were waiting which was a nice thing to do, and would have made up for the wait, except that the service once we were seated was atrocious! We were not greeted for a while after being seated. No water. Finally our server came over and we ordered. Another 20 minutes went by and nothing appeared. Finally we got our starters but no drinks. Eventually they came, although my husband's martini came straight up even though he asked for it on the rocks. I will say that all of the food we ordered was very good but the service ruined the experience for us. Every time our plates were cleared they took our silverware but did not bring new silverware until we asked. We sat with empty water glasses much of the night. I understand this place is new but I won't be back until they have worked out these kinks. read more
