The server was quick to take my order even though it was pretty busy in there (was rush weekend I think for the university?). I had the tin man HH cocktail because my server said it would be the most floral (has elderflower in it) and I quite liked it! Was very refreshing, not too strong. Aside notes: the bathrooms were quite clean. Parking was a little chaotic, some is paid parking and some is free 2 hour. There are only a couple spots right in front, I had to park a few blocks down but it was in 2hr free park by another small business that was closed for the day. I didn't have any issues there. Overall thought this was a fun little bar in Boulder with good happy hour drinks, I would def come back :)

What could be better? Located just off the Pearl Street Mall - this intimate, cozy venue makes for the perfect spot for drinks and music. With the variety of seating, extended dance floor and stage, the unassuming little spot is much bigger than anticipated. The rustic yet chic interior creates one hell of a vibe that was easily felt by all! SO fun! Bartenders were friendly, fun and willing to go the extra mile when it came to fun cocktails and made sure we enjoyed our time in between sets! Cheers to good friends, good music and a new favorite venue up north!

From the hostess to the server, everyone was very helpful and very nice. Great job staff! The atmosphere was perfect for what we were looking for. The interior decorations and lighting were fun but also a great setting for conversation. The music volume was perfect. I look forward to getting my tiki on again at Jungle!

But recently I ran into some longtime friends my age and they go there often for really good deals at happy hour on very fun drinks. I looked into the menu and website and discovered they could make any drink alcohol free yet with the flavor so similar using a brand of herbal designed flavored substitutes. I have a limitation on true alcoholic content due to a medication for a chronic illness as do many other people around town and the world. This substitute led to a very amazing and fun drink that looks just like the "real deal." My drink was a "Painkiller" with nutmeg on top. And tropical flavors through out, orange, pineapple juice, coconut milk on pebble ice which added a nice look and feel. I'd definitely do some of these drinks again. The happy hour food was a real deal in size but I'd rather have had a salad or some of the small plate offerings. If you are looking for a large plain burger and fries that are mundane but ample for the price, go for that but next time I will do the small plates. May cost a little more but raise the food quality to the drinks. Staff was efficient and very friendly and the place filled up fast as soon as they opened. They cater to large groups as we had the only table for two, the only one I saw. But a nice central bar with all high top seating can accommodate many more in single or small groups. I am rather challenged by size to get into these seats. Next time we will go early again or with a larger group for a larger table. I am giving them a bonus star for such great and unique drinks tonight.

I thought it was just me but the rest of the table agreed as well. My trout was well-cooked and I enjoyed it quite a bit. The chicken was also salty although cooked well. I did not try the burger but I was told it was salty as well. The prices of all the items were quite high for what I thought was presented. Service was good and thankfully our waters were filled frequently for how much water we were drinking due to the high salt content.

From drinks to dessert and everything in between, there is nothing, and I mean nothing, on this menu that will leave you feeling unimpressed. I've spent practically my entire adulthood in the restaurant industry. I've dedicated even more of my time cooking for, drinking with, and serving the people I love. You can taste and feel that same passion here at Cozobi. As always, I leave impressed and wanting more. Places like this are the reason I keep coming back to Boulder's dining scene, and I'll happily continue recommending Cozobi to friends any chance I get.

I got the rabbit, which was recommended as being the best entree option. i have never had rabbit previously and wanted to try it. I thought it was OK, but not very memorable. It did taste like dark meat chicken. however the chick peas they were served with were underdone (crunchy in texture) and simply not that good. Our dessert, blueberry Tres Leches, was the best of the 3. My dining companions had a variety of things (striped bass, meatballs), but no one was raving about their food. Service was quite nice. would give this more like a 3.5 out of 5, as the atmosphere and service were good. Sadly won't be returning.

However, the kitchen fails to deliver quality or good tasting meals, despite the well-sourced food. The menu is prix fixe. 2 appetizers and an entree, or 1 appetizer, entree and dessert. The salmon tartare was salty, too salty. The kefta balls were over salted as well. The onion tarte shell was so hard it could barely be chipped away to eat. When we mentioned this to our server, the response was we get more complaints about the tarte than any other appetizer. I was surprised to see that the appetizers were all served at the same time, so by the time, I ate the cold salmon, the warm kefta, besides being salty was also cool - might have been more appealing if warmer. The rabbit entree was dry, overcooked and tasteless. The accompanying garbanzo beans were undercooked, crunchy and too salty. The food highlight was the family style vegetables. Beets, onions, asparagus were alright; the sugar snap peas which still had strings were not as good. The dessert were disappointing as the rest of the meal. The macaron was brick hard, so hard, we had to ask for a fork and knife to chip hunks off of it. Tasteless. After we departed, my dinner companion said she wished we had sent the dessert back, it was so hard and inedible that we left most of it. Bramble & Hare has a few things going for it: Service was spot on, attentive, helpful and friendly. The wine list is very good. Ambience is pleasant and the dining room is quiet. I really wanted to like Bramble & Hare as the farm to table concept appeals, but with the poor food preparation, this is a tough restaurant to like.
