So I normally go to the panther lake nail salon and today, I decided to come here and just try it out since my friend told me they do a really great job in pedicures. I was not happy with their customer service. They were stuck up and very rude. Felt so embarrassed as one lady made faces while she cleaned my feet. JADA TAKES CARE OF MY NAILS and brings them back to life! Every time I see her, my cuticles are a mess, as my boyfriend would put it "your nails look rough!" but after she's done with them, they look clean and well groom. I have gone to other places where they polish your nails and the polish gets on your skin so when your nails start to grow out, the polish lifts. But this has never been a problem with Jada. I never have bubbles in my nails (biggest pet peeve) or on my skin. She's great with matching colors with pictures of designs I bring in. She's also amazing at designs! I don't really ask for anything crazy but whatever I request, she can do. I went for a medi pedi & the girl that took care of me did an excellent job on my nails & toes. Her polishing job was the best i've experienced. Made an appointment for a fill and gel manicure for my daughter. Arrived and did their normal Covid screen (temperature & writing your name/phone number on a piece of paper) and picked a color. My daughter was taken back after a 15 min wait. I waited over 35 min past my appt time and decided I was not going to wait any longer as my daughter was almost done and would have waited an hour for me to finish. No apology, just excuses. I will never understand how these types of businesses continue to operate like this. My suggestion would be to take walk-ins only since the "appointments" are fake news. They rely on the occasional customer to leave so they can catch up and not miss out on making $$. 2 stars because the first time I went here I only waited 15 min. I recently moved to the renton landing area but since the new management has taken over I drive all the way back here to get my nails done. My girlfriend recommended me to Jayda in spring 2016 and I've never let anyone else touch my hands or feet since! They are also very reasonably priced. For example, eyebrow waxing will cost you about $8, a pedicure will cost you around $20 and acrylic nails will cost you around $25. The worst manicure I have ever received. I came to this location because of its ratings. I went to get chrome nails and first off the lady I spoke with said they had rose gold chrome, which is what I was getting. However, come to find out the is no rose gold powder it's only the color underneath the chrome that changes. Well I had done my research before going to their facility and I know for a fact they there is such thing as rose gold powder. Also, what they. All rose gold it not actually what it should look like. So , i decided to go with silver... well the same lady said it would look true silver on top of a clear coat. I agree the silver looked more true than other times that I used a black base. However, I'm not sure if it is their powder or their technique, but it literally looks like I got a silver sparkle nail polish on. NOT chrome at all... ok o well... it would have not been that big of a deal if my polish wasn't clumpy or messy or spotted.. but it was. If you want a true chrome please go to Universal nails! They are the BEST at it! I should have just gone there, but at least now I know. I must add that I asked for a manicure and this was NO manicure... everywhere I have been they will massage your hands put lotion or some kind of oil also your hands and nails will come out looking pretty and clean at least. Not here! They look messy ugly and cheap (which they weren't cheap at all) I will add pictures so you can see for yourself. I would never recommend this place. My sister in law and niece come to this shop all the time and they loved it here so I was pretty excited to try it. I walked in and they said they just renovated and it looked really nice and fancy. They sat us down right away and started working on. I was getting my nails cut and my sis was getting her nails buffed when 2 of their regular customers came in and I guess had an appt. idk if the lady didn't realize they had appts or what but they stopped in the middle of our service and told us to come back.
