Can't speak for their deep dish but if you're looking for New York pizza, this ain't it. Overpriced, over-salted, overrated.

I am new to the area and am always trying to find some local gems. We ordered a Family Special and my goodness they gave us SO much food! This place is great. We ordered curbside and it was ready maybe 45 seconds after we pulled in the space. The staff could not have been more lovely. Everything was exactly how we ordered it. My girls loved their spaghetti, we got a thin crust pizza that was exactly like we wanted it and we also ordered chicken parm but we can't even eat it because of everything else. So so good. This is super yummy pizza. I have ordered from them twice since moving to Frederick in Mid May. The pizza is cooked nicely with a crust that's not too hard or soft. Just right. Great takeout option! Only ever had their thin crust bc it's delicious. Try the monster for a super cheesy, loaded up, and crispy pizza. Their buffalo wings with blue cheese are also great. This has been the go to for pizza in my house for a little while now. read more

I thought the pizza was good enough to come back to try some of their other styles. The store was clean and had a nice environment. The space is primarily for take out as it only has a few small tables. They offer several different styles of pizza: Chicago deep dish, thin crust and another that I can't remember. I asked the employee what their best style of pizza was and he said it depended on what you like. His favorite was the thin crust, so we order it. We liked the flavor and texture of the crust and the toppings were good for this type of pizzeria. The size of the pizza and price were reasonable and my family enjoyed the pizza. 2.5 stars. We just moved to Frederick a few weeks ago and live near Rosati's Pizza so I wanted to try it. I love Chicago style pizza and the only other place I know of that makes it is Uno's. I was rather disappointed that my very first time ordering here they did not make it right. I ordered extra pepperoni and did not get extra (I also work in a pizza store and I know how much is standard vs. extra). I called the store and the owner offered to give me 20% off my next purchase, but that means I'd have to go back and risk them screwing it up again. The cannolis were very good and the pizza was otherwise ok, but still not as good as Uno's, which is where I'll be going next time. read more

Excellent gluten-free pizza! Lots of cheese, good herbs, and unlike most GF crusts that are super dense and hard to chew, Rosati's is light and airy. A little dry but hey it's GF, what do you want? It was still very tasty. We also ordered a Caesar salad with chicken, and although the Romaine was good, the chicken was charred a bit much and the dressing tasted like a cross between Italian and Caesar, which we did not like at all. I do want to try their regular pizza sometime though. read more

Rosati's Pizza is the bomb and is probably the best in the city. I enjoyed Pizza Boli's, but this place is by far superior and more tasty. I would not recommend Pizza Llama. I thought the food truck was disgusting, the service was terrible, and the food had me "bombing" the toilet all night. Rosati's is #1!! I highly recommend this place. read more

We have had both the thin crust and the deep dish pizza. They were very good. I love having both options from the same place, and they deliver. The rest of the food on the menu is also great, which shocked me. Best wings I've had in Years. The chicken parmigiana is my favorite. Even the salads were good, the first time. The second time was not as fresh but I'm willing to give it a third try or just stop ordering salad from a pizza place. I've had 2 deliveries and 1 pick up. All were quick and easy. read more

I wasn't impressed at all. Pizza left a lot to be desired and the crust was drier then a desert fart. Sandwhich took 25 minutes to come out, with the place being empty, and it was so soggy and mushy I would rather never spend my money there again read more

Tasty pizza!!! We ordered 5 boxes of Rosati's pizza for our wedding weekend and it was delish!! We got 3 double dough pizzas and 2 deep dish. The pies were huge and our 12 guest couldn't even finish a box. Needless to say we were eating pizza the next day and it was still tasty cold and right out of the fridge. We have tried several things on the menu, from the delicious salads, awesome garlic bread sticks, thin crust Monster pizza (w/all the toppings) they were all fantastic! A pepperoni supreme deep dish instead of dough, sauce, cheese and toppings. Is instead dough maybe you might find a topping then cheese then sauce dumped over top everything. Its basically paying a lot more for a reverse cheese pizza. Why even charge for toppings? read more

We traveled from DC to reminisce of our dating days when my wife lived in Chicago and an authentic Rosati's was just a block over. There is a Rosati's franchise near where my parents live, so the comparison here is of both what Chicago offers and what the franchise offers in other cities. The positive was the thin crust (all my daughter will eat). It was really good. Underwhelming was the deep dish and caesar salad, so I would skip the salad. The deep dish didn't compare to what we grew to love in Chicago, and even the Rosati's we have frequented in NC over the years was much better. We discussed and thought maybe in time they could get it better, maybe the deep dish shell wasn't fresh, maybe the crust needed to be brushed with something to make it more flakey, not sure...but also the deep dish shell seemed too have too much dough in some areas, at the expense of the cheese. So, we left disappointed for how far we traveled. If we lived in town we may try again... and hope that this could be our place, but we just don't get here very often and so we probably wouldn't travel again just to have (especially since they don't really have seating... we sat outside at a table they had set up). To end on a positive note, they were super nice and accommodating to us. We enjoyed their customer service. read more

I am a Chicago transplant, which makes me a natural born pizza critic. It's a skill we develop in the Chicagoland area. Quick answer - they are on the right path. This was good and I have had it reheated! So here are my tips for the locals on Chicago pizza: 1. Chicago pizza takes love. As they train their people, it is going to get better. Give them time if they make any mistakes. 2. Chicago deep dish and stuffed take time. 40 minutes - and they mean it! 3. Yes, it's more expensive, but you are getting a few dinners! I spent $50 on 1 small deep and 2 thins for my family of 6. We've had 2 dinners so far and at least 1-2 more meals left. They have an 11% off coupon right now. 4. Yes, there is a difference between stuffed and deep dish. Try both before you decide! 5. Chicagoans usually order thin crusts on an average day. This is no ny slice thin crust - they load on the toppings and it has a cracker crunch that does reheat well! But I knew it was a chicago thin when I tasted the seasonings on the thin crust - yup, that's chicago. No, it isn't the same sauce that's on the deep dish. 6. When you reheat, you don't do it in a microwave! Oven, 450. Perfectly reheated. 7. Yes, they deliver, but I personally believe in picking up with these types of pizzas. There's a lot going on in those boxes! 8. They will offer and say yes - get the cheese and peppers - and use them! read more

I grew up in Chicago eating Rosatis. After living in Northern Virginia for the past 12 years I was excited to hear that Rosatis was opening in Frederick. I drove over 45 minutes to bring some pizza home and it was excellent! My daughters comment was "Finally...some good pizza". I can't imagine anyone in the Frederick area ever eating any other pizza after trying Rosatis. I'll be back for more. read more

Okay so this one of the newer pizza spots in town and we have gotten food here six or seven nights over the last 4-5 months. now and It's time for an honest review. The Food here is really great. It seems really fresh and is delivered within 50 minutes usually. The prices are a little higher than some other options but it's worth it. We get the thin crust and it's delicious, but it comes cut into squares not triangles (If you ask they will change it for ya if it matters). The Fried Raviolis starter is amazing and they are huge as long as they are not under cooked (one night they were not so great). The Penne Pasta and Lasagna are really good portions as well and just as tasty. The only negative would be the phone orders and in person service has lacked organization and competence at some points but hopefully they are just working out the kinks.
