Wingstop is always a hit for me but i had to order and try the Maple Sriracha wings. WOW RUN do not walk to try these. They have such a complex flavor i honestly should've ordered all 40 (i know i know A LOT) as the maple sriracha that's how in love with it i am. The other flavors were crowd favorite Louisiana rub, Lemon Pepper, and a few Mango Habanero. Also ordered the classic side of the salt and sugar mix fries with the house ranch. Needless to say, I didn't walk out with my order of 50 wings until 6:20. I've never heard of this franchise until I read about Wingstop's all-time high stock prices, going from $20 to $95 in the last 3 years. So it has to be doing something right. I suppose just the name itself is luring enough to get the customers in. There isn't any Wingstop in central PA but plenty in MD and we've tried this location in Frederick twice on my way to visiting my sister. It's located in the same strip mall as H Mart Korean supermarket which I frequent whenever I'm in the area. The setup is a bit unique. It's a combination of fast food and sports bar where you can eat wings and drink beer while watching sports on multiple TVs, but you order and get your own food at the counter and seat yourself. The menu is small and specialized, pretty much just wings and fries. That's not necessarily a bad thing. The choices of flavors are not as many compared to Buffalo Wild Wings, but Wingstop's wings are decidedly better (although I have to say BWW has the worst wings anywhere). We've tried 3 flavors so far. We unanimously do not like Hickory Smoked BBQ. We've tried Louisiana Rub on both visits and we liked it the first time, not so much the second; so it's a hit and miss. But their relatively new flavor, Spicy Korean Q, is definitely a winner and I will not hesitate to recommend it. Now the reason why I give only 3 stars - service. Wingstop probably gets more internet/phone orders than POS orders. As a result, we had to wait 25 minutes for our order of 10 wings. That's a long wait, especially for fast food. I suspect the manager has her discretion on priority of service, not necessarily first come first served. In my case, obviously she wrote me off and fulfilled other orders first. After I complained, my order was ready in 2 minutes. So one tip for your over the counter orders is to pester them every few minutes. Another tip: sign up for their eClub and get a free order of regular fries - but don't expect less than 7-10 days before your offer show up in your mailbox. read more

Came here on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. It wasn't crowded and the restaurant was very clean. The employee at the register, the receipt says his name is Tabraz, was very friendly and helpful. We liked that you could get up to 2 sauces even if you only order a small (6) order of wings. All the wing combos come with a lot of fries. I got the garlic parmesan and the mild. Mild is very mild, no spice at all. So not a bad thing if you don't want spice. The garlic parmesan was really yummy. Nice, clean atmosphere with friendly employees. Crowd of people waiting at pickup window - zero service to help make sense of anything. When food was finally ready the young lady asked my last name, threw the bag on the counter without so much as looking at me, and walked away. (Which speaks to management, for sure. I'm sure they're overworked and underpaid.) Service was -10. Got to work with food and it was missing several times. Wings are one of my favorite foods and Wingstop a good standard to have. This is a newer location and the first in Frederick. I have eaten here twice in the last couple of weeks. The staff is friendly, fast and the restaurant is very clean. They seem busy and am happy to see another thriving business in town. I had the fries with the fry seasoning, wings with original hot and Louisiana dry rub. It was all very good and consistent with the brand that I have known from the Wingstop company.
