Watching TV on phone lol

Oh man. If zero stars was an option- this would be it. I'm a patient person so I didn't mind waiting the 2 hours for my order. That's 2 hours after I arrived to pick up my mobile order that said it would be ready in 55 minutes. So almost 3 hours since order was placed. But other individuals were not as patient. Angry customers not getting answered on the stays of their orders. Phones ringing constantly and not being answered. No sense of urgency from any employee. One was even watching tv on her phone while making the wings. While I understand a rush of orders. This isn't okay at all

Wingstop is always a hit for me but i had to order and try the Maple Sriracha wings. WOW RUN do not walk to try these. They have such a complex flavor i honestly should've ordered all 40 (i know i know A LOT) as the maple sriracha that's how in love with it i am. The other flavors were crowd favorite Louisiana rub, Lemon Pepper, and a few Mango Habanero. Also ordered the classic side of the salt and sugar mix fries with the house ranch. I love this place so much! Wings forever and ever!

I've never heard of this franchise until I read about Wingstop's all-time high stock prices, going from $20 to $95 in the last 3 years. So it has to be doing something right. I suppose just the name itself is luring enough to get the customers in. There isn't any Wingstop in central PA but plenty in MD and we've tried this location in Frederick twice on my way to visiting my sister. It's located in the same strip mall as H Mart Korean supermarket which I frequent whenever I'm in the area. The setup is a bit unique. It's a combination of fast food and sports bar where you can eat wings and drink beer while watching sports on multiple TVs, but you order and get your own food at the counter and seat yourself. The menu is small and specialized, pretty much just wings and fries. That's not necessarily a bad thing. The choices of flavors are not as many compared to Buffalo Wild Wings, but Wingstop's wings are decidedly better (although I have to say BWW has the worst wings anywhere). We've tried 3 flavors so far. We unanimously do not like Hickory Smoked BBQ. We've tried Louisiana Rub on both visits and we liked it the first time, not so much the second; so it's a hit and miss. But their relatively new flavor, Spicy Korean Q, is definitely a winner and I will not hesitate to recommend it. Now the reason why I give only 3 stars - service. Wingstop probably gets more internet/phone orders than POS orders. As a result, we had to wait 25 minutes for our order of 10 wings. That's a long wait, especially for fast food. I suspect the manager has her discretion on priority of service, not necessarily first come first served. In my case, obviously she wrote me off and fulfilled other orders first. After I complained, my order was ready in 2 minutes. So one tip for your over the counter orders is to pester them every few minutes. Another tip: sign up for their eClub and get a free order of regular fries - but don't expect less than 7-10 days before your offer show up in your mailbox.

It's one of their favorite places…read more The lighting/natural light from the windows, together with the decor, give the space a really cool, clean vibe. We ordered a bit of everything from the standard and kids' menus. Our favorites were the pulled pork tacos, the flounder sandwich (my personal favorite), and the from-scratch mac and cheese. I would eat a pint of that mac and cheese if I could. A note, however, 1/3 of the kids found the addition of cracked pepper in the mac and cheese "too spicy." The staff was attentive and checked in frequently.

We opted to sit outside since we had our dog with us. The server was very friendly, with great service and they are very dog friendly and had water bowls outside for them. I am from Eastern NC, so I have a pretty good idea of bbq and BC staples. I decided to try the flounder rather than the bbq this time. The founder was disappointing. It was a bit on the bland side and the batter is a little confusing. I was expecting a cornmeal style batter or similar, but got something different. The fish itself had potential to be very good. The beans also left a lot to be desired, just lacked flavor and taste. The business looks like they do a lot of catering as opposed to dining (possible a lot of to go orders, too).

Who knew Anchor was is in Frederick? We didn't. My wife, a Buffalonian born and raised and we've both been to the original Anchor Bar in Buffalo dozens of times so we had to check this location out. In the door we noticed the place was clean and had a very warm and cozy vibe but had a sports bar atmosphere with plenty on TV's to watch a sport of your choice. The staff was super friendly and the menu has all your favorites. Our server was Nicole who was actually amazing in every way, very sweet and attentive to whatever we wanted. We ordered a small pizza, The special which was ribs and a side, we chose Cole Slaw and of course wings (Original). The pizza was very good, had Cup n Char Pepperoni which is what I expect from a Buffalo bar/resteraunt. The only thing is it could have stayed on the brick another minute or so to crisp up the bottom more. The Ribs were dynamite, perfectly cooked with a slight char on the bottom. They were fall off the bone with an amazing smoke flavor. The Cole Slaw was awesomeness as its how we like it, sweet and creamy. Now, drum roll, the wings, cooked wonderfully to be juicy and saucy but...yes but, could have been a little crispier but, they were great. We live 50 minutes away and will travel to come back. Great job.

The medium sauce was perfect for her and good for me. I could have gone a little hotter. There a a number of levels and as we watched more orders we realized we could have mixed sauces. Next time. My wife loved the wings by the dip was even better. If Anchor Bar was closer to us we'd be regulars. The service was great and wait time seemed normal. We'll definitely make the drive again.

The restaurant is behind a mall, so you'll have to drive around a bit to get to it, depending on where you enter. The restaurant was quiet and very clean. We were greeted immediately upon entering. Ordering was difficult, because they have so many items I like and so many possible combinations and options. To make the choice even harder, they had some great daily specials too, one of which we took advantage of. Everything takes a few minutes to prepare, but that's because everything is made fresh to order. We got a chicken combo which included both regular and spicy. The spiciness was just right, and all the chicken was crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. And as always, I had a hard time slowing down as I devoured the tandoori fries. We had leftovers, and they were nice enough to repackage it for us and provide a bag for everything. And I see they have had more restaurants open since my first visit at home, and I expect quite a few more, if the quality and feedback continue to be top-rate.

The person at the counter who took our order was friendly, but after that, the service felt very dry and unclear. Once our pizza was ready, my name was called and the pizza was left on the counter in the pan. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to take it myself or if it would be brought over. When I grabbed it, I also had to ask for plates because nothing was offered. Throughout the visit, there was very little guidance or customer interaction. When I went up to ask for a box, there was no acknowledgment at first -- just a quick question about size and that was it. No one checked in or asked how anything was. It also seemed like other customers were just as confused -- someone next to us didn't know what to do with their pan either and was told to leave it on top of the trash. The pizza itself was good and came out quickly, which is why I'd still order takeout again. But as far as dining in, I probably wouldn't do that again.

The salad was good. The veggies were cut really big, which made it much harder to eat them all. The chicken and bacon were okay, but nothing epic. 3, The chicken tenders and fries were overcooked and average. They almost made our list of places to go back to, but in the end, there are better places in the Frederick area for pizza. So, they get a 3, almost nearly good enough, but missed it by that much. Not, as a Chicago Pizza fan that I hold it against the NYC style of pizza. I don't eat pizza anymore.
