I wasn't sure if I'd like this place because it's kind of like fast casual instant pizza, but I do like it! It's actually good! Ok, but, really, the reason I love it is because there are really two entrees to order: unlimited toppings pizza and unlimited topping salad. These are two of the most wonderful options, ever. So, the pizza that is an entree size is 11 inches, and, if you really go crazy with the toppings, you may have leftovers. It's also a decent size to share with someone. I love all the veggie toppings, and they kind of blend well together. I love the options for the base of a gluten free crust or regular crust and the size of mini 6-inch or regular 11-inch. The unlimited toppings seriously make me so happy! I can never decide from the very beginning if I want a garlic rub, olive oil or spicy tomato or regular tomato.... the toppings are over 3 dozen if you account for cheese, meats and veggies. My favorite is tomatoes, roasted red peppers, roasted broccoli, spinach, mushrooms and oregano, but there's so much more! So good... and finishing sauces, too. Love these pizzas! The salads are just as fun with unlimited toppings, and definitely, I have not held back, ever. The salad entree size is actually enough for 2 people. I like the zesty tomato vinaigrette the best, but the toppings are all great - artichokes, broccoli, roasted corn, green bell peppers and pineapple are my favorites. So good and fresh - delicious! I give up on the Frederick location! What a dump!! Tables are gross and sticky! The employees DO NOT clean the bathrooms! It's like a horror movie scene in the bathrooms. All the food at the counter was cross contaminated so if you have a dairy allergy you are out of luck. The girl at the counter never offered to clean up the area or offer another sauce without cheese floating in it. I have been to 3 other locations and they don't have the same issues. read more

I'm a fan of MOD Pizza, though this is not my typical haunt. We were babysitting for someone and we thought we'd opt for a familiar pizza for us and the kids. The kids loved their plain cheese. Pretty much one pie was easily devoured (with just a single slice left over for us). We each ordered our own pies though. Hers came out just fine. Mine was awkwardly cut and was missing a topping (olives). I can't say I'm complaining about that too much though since it was a pretty loaded pie to start with. They weren't really missed but still... one of the reasons I love MOD is because they actually HAVE great olives... not those nasty canned ones... But oh well, it was still a great pizza. I ordered delivery from this pizza joint after a long day of military training. I built my own pizza. There were a variety of toppings and crust options. The staff was very nice, accommodating, and thorough. The delivery was very quick and the pizza was still piping hot when it arrived. It looked so good that all I could do was dive right in. I don't get it. What must people be eating that MOD Pizza gets such rave reviews? I was drawn in by the "Super Fast" tagline-- which us the only positive thing I can say...yep, it was fast. Came here on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. The place was busy but not overly crowded. Plenty of seating. Got through the line quickly and they have a good variety of toppings to choose from. I got a smaller pizza for my son and I guess the normal (but personal) size for me. Looking back, we should have gotten the personal size and shared. Pizza was delicious! The sauce was really good, I'm kind of picky about sauce. Employees were very friendly, fun atmosphere and clean dining area. Got a 'Maddy Pizza' delivered last night and it swiftly arrived at my home, deliverer was nice, and i gave them a hefty tip for coming out amidst the pandemic. I got in and opened the box and Pulled out a slice; The cheese was stringy and still hot, and the dough went semi-limp; Great signs so far! I took a bite and the sweet tang of the tomato sauce, and the creamy flavour of the cheese mingled together superbly, the undertones of garlic, and oregano were also very nice, adding a subtle earthy taste, grounding it, and a sharp sting, bringing it back up again. I built my own pizza. I got the regular pizza with the red sauce and mozzarella cheese. So just a plain boring pizza. My BF got a pizza with ALL the fixing. The absolute worst experience that I've ever had at MOD!! Generally, I enjoy going there. I like the salads, pizza and blackberry lemonade. Today, the people working were borderline comatose.
