We moved here about 6 months ago, this was the first pizza place we tried in the area. We love this pizza! Today I picked up a couple pizzas and there was a slight mistake on one. Received my order which I always get , so I thought- - Steak and cheese with fries - only tonight the steak and cheese and the fries were missing. I called the store just thinking it was an oversight due to being busy for Father's Day weekend. I offered to just come next door to have my order fixed. Person on the phone claimed to be the manager refused to let me get what I paid for in full - steak and cheese and fries. She was so rude. Was screaming and refusing to listen to me. After some discussion with her screaming at me , she asked if I was blind because the order they got had no steak or cheese on their steak and cheese ticket. Irregardless- I let her know I was charged the full price for a STEAK AND CHEESE and it was some kind of mistake and asked again if I could just walk next door and have them fix it real quick. I have been a regular at Paisanos for years & it's always been a friendly happy spot with very clean ambiance. - Frederick manager just refused to help even though I had paid the full price for a steak and cheese and fries and had no idea why my order for a steak and cheese with fries had a note for no steak and cheese. She said in a laughing voice "when the order came through we all laughed. I will NEVER EVER EVER order from Paisanos again. Nor will any of the teams I support or my businesses for lunch, after games , nothing. It was an easy fix. 8/16/25 - After a bad first experience with Maryland chain pizza, I decided to give it one last shot. And I'm glad I did. We went to Paesano's Pizza which is six minutes from the park. Yes, Seinfeld fans, I am aware. It wouldn't be fair to rate them against my local pizzerias because they'd lose hands down But I'm happy to rank them against our chains. It's a tick better than Pizza Hut and way better than Domino's, Papa John's and Little Caesars. The difference here is the crust and generosity of the toppings. The crust has a garlic in olive oil flavor and it's crunchy and delicious. Because of the amount of toppings (see pic), there's no way to eat this pizza without a knife and fork. The weight of the toppings alone cause it to go limp. But at 12 bucks for a small pie, the toppings do make it worth the price. Small cramped dining area but I dont see this as a problem as it appears most diners are interested in take out anyways. The mozzarella sticks are subpar. I've been a loyal customer of Paisano Pizza for years, ordering from here at least twice a week. But today's experience was beyond unacceptable it was disrespectful.I ordered extra crispy wings, and what I got was far from that. Not only were they soft and soggy, but they still had FEATHERS on them absolutely disgusting. I called and was told they'd remake them. Fine. But what happened next was the final straw.The delivery guy shows up, doesn't greet me, doesn't apologize nothing. First thing out of his mouth: "Give me the other wings. No customer service, no decency, no acknowledgment that they messed up. He just snatched the new wings from behind his back like it was some shady exchange. I showed him the feathers to make a point not that he seemed to care. The entire situation felt like they thought I was just trying to get free food. Let me be VERY clear: I don't need free food. I could buy the whole damn restaurant if I wanted to.The issue here wasn't the wings it was the absolute lack of respect, accountability, and professionalism. Poor service, okay food. Ordered here for the first time. They are less than 5 minutes away. Initial delivery took 20 minutes after they left the store (assuming they delivered somewhere else first even though I'm super close). I was missing my drink, as well as salad dressing and ingredients in my salad. The pasta that was ordered was disgusting. I've had other locations, and this one is terrible. Called and let them know I was missing the drink. They said it would be delivered shortly. Called 15 minutes later because no drink. Person on the phone said they were leaving to deliver another order, then would get me my drink... after delivering the next order. Excuse me? I had a missing item. I am 4 minutes from the store. Was delivered 25 minutes after letting them know it was missing. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. HORRIBLE LOGIC. RUDE. Above all else, I very clearly requested no contact delivery. I had a very disappointing experience with Paisano's this weekend. Their pizza is good - it's my son's favorite pizza. For his birthday party this weekend in Urbana, we ordered delivery of Paisano's to the venue we were hosting the party. Our Uber Eats Driver arrived with half of the order (the pizzas but not the chicken tenders/wings/sides we ordered). She said she asked the restaurant at least 3 times if that was all, and they said yes. So I called the restaurant to inquire. She admitted the bag was there and that they were at fault and informed me I could come pick up the food if I'd like. I was in the middle of my 7 year olds birthday party with a bunch of kids running around and could not come pick it up. I asked if they had a delivery driver who could bring it out, and she said yes, but it would be a bit because their driver was out on a delivery. About 20 minutes later, I receive a call from the store saying that our venue was outside of their delivery radius by 2 miles (they only deliver within 9 miles) and I could either come pick up the food or maybe tip the delivery driver extra. I asked why I was being asked to rectify their mistake. I understood mistakes happen, but that they should then rectify it. After being on hold another 15 minutes, I hung up so I could enjoy the party with my child. A few minutes later, she called back and said they have a 2nd driver coming at 4pm (the order was for 2pm) and I could maybe wait for that or come get the food myself. She then told me there was nothing she could do for me since I ordered through a 3rd party app and it was store policy to not go beyond the 9 miles. While the pizza is good, I spent at least 25 minutes of my son's party trying to fix the issue to never receive our order or be offered anything other than apology. I was able to get a refund through uber eats for that portion of our order eventually. I'm just so disappointed with the service and support at Paisano's that I will not do an order like that through them again nor do I recommend others do that either. Wow.... this was hard to put into words. Ordered a calzone, pasta with meatballs and garlic pasta. Was so excited and was hoping for better. Ugh. The sauce is sour and full of acid. First: Thank you for being open during the pandemic. Meatball appetizer: 4.5/5 stars Very cheesy, and delicious! 5-6 meatballs drenched in marinara sauce and covered in a thick layer of mozarella. Only thing stopping it from getting a full 5/5 was it was a bit salty (over seasoned) for me. Mozarella sticks: 4/5 I LOVE mozarella sticks but these ones were a bit too salty (like the meatball appetizer) for me. They gave me plentiful ketchup (per my request) and I love all the gooey cheese that comes out with each bite! Used to be really great but has definitely gone down hill. We recently got a Buffalo chicken pizza, chicken gyros and Greek salad with grilled chicken. Everything was horrible. They didn't even put the dressing in for the salads. The pizza was undercooked but somehow also cold. And the gyros couldn't even be called gyros.
