We went to Kelly-Moore and RITA helped us. She was kind, professional, and did a spot on match within the hour. She also gave us great advise on how to finish the project which was a high traffic stair case. There is so much to be said about how valuable Rita was. We will only use Kelly-Moore going forward.

Now I wish I needed more paint. Because ... the vibe and culture and degree of excellence is off the charts. I brought an 8 year old cabinet door there with food stains and what looked like tire tread marks (I have teenagers !) and a guy who's name I forget but looks like Idris Elba pointed the store's machine at it and furrowed his brow like it's sport to him , concentrating trying to find the best spot on the wood . I was hoping to be somewhere close not holding out much hope of matching the cabinet 100%. I got home and tried it out and ... wow, it matched. . . . And then there's a guy who speaks Spanish like he's chewing peanut butter but nonetheless tries to do it and treats each customer like they're important, looking at them in the eyes, shaking with BOTH hands. I don't speak Spanish well but appreciated his interactions because it sets an example to me to try and use my High School Spanish and bridge gaps everywhere I go. . . . And then there's the older guy (a relative term, I realize) and his demeanor is gold. There's a saying when you have a hammer everything starts looking like a nail and ..... I've also frequented other Sherwin-Williams as well as Kelly Moore, Lowe's, Home Depot, etc., and no other place even comes close to how well I'm taken care of at this Sherwin-Williams. About a year ago I bought paint at the Location on 1431 and I asked them to match a paint chip. After driving all the way there, waiting with subpar customer service, driving all the way home, and putting the paint on the wall, I realize the paint doesn't match at all. Not even close. So I took the gallon of paint I just spent $40 on to this location expecting to have them rematch and she'll put another $40 but the manager not only remade it correctly but without charge. This is just one example of how truly amazing their customer service is at this location. Today I went in to buy a gallon of alabaster paint for the bathrooms at 6 o'clock and the same gentleman asked me if I was going to begin painting today, because tomorrow all paints are 40% off. I'm telling you right now if you don't shop at this Sherman Williams for your painting needs, you're just plain stupid.

As someone who's spent thousands of dollars here, I foolishly thought a simple "Thanks, we'll look into it" wasn't too much to ask. But apparently, that's reserved for customers who don't use Yelp. I get that his job might feel like "watching paint dry," but at least pretend to care. I made the effort to write this review so others don't waste their time. Too bad the manager didn't make the effort to update a few digits on the internet or request for a change since it has been a few years--or show a splash of enthusiasm while the paint dries.
