I stopped by today near closing time (I would have been there 15 minutes early but it was super difficult to find the store because they don't have an exterior sign--there is apparently some dispute with the contractor, and the shopping center won't let them put up a banner sign--note that it's next to the Mattress store) and only got there about 2 minutes before closing. I had called about 5 minutes before because I was lost and desperate to get my paint sample before they closed. Adam answered the phone and calmly described how to get to the store, and helped me as if he was not in the slightest hurry. I repeatedly apologized and told him I was sorry to come so late, and he repeatedly reassured me that it was fine and it was his pleasure to help me. I brought in two painted foam boards and told him that I wanted a color of the darker kind in the same tone, but halfway between the darker and lighter board. He mixed several different samples for me, including painting them on my board and drying them with a blow-dryer, and adding more mixture until I was satisfied with two samples to take home. Needless to say, this took about 45 minutes, which means he was probably late getting home to dinner, and for that I'm so sorry (but also so grateful, since I have to pick my final paints for my contractor in the next two days)! This kind of great service is exactly why I come to Kelly-Moore (which is family owned) rather than its competitor, who will remain nameless (also, KM has much better prices). They did their best to match the color and it wasn't a long wait to get what we needed. They even offered to add our phone number and info into the system to make it easier for next time. Parking was in a giant lot so there were no issues there. I will say it's a bit steep in price for the paint but this paint has lasted quite a while longer than Home Depot paints.

Many times I have ordered paint online and wait for days for a confirmation email. If I'm lucky I will get a response within the week. Lately, I haven't even been getting a response at all. Once I was told to call. So I called. I showed up and the paint wasn't ready. I'm not sure why I keep doing this to myself. Also, the manager has no business in that position: there will be six people in line and he's back in his office while one guy is working orders. When customers come through the door he doesn't even acknowledge us. He's either rude or oblivious or both. At this point I'm changing my brand loyalty. Overall a decent paint store offering some commercial products…read more Needed a specialty waterborne alkyd paint for some interior trim. Researched options from PPG. Decided on the Advantage 900 interior/exterior Advantage 900 is a styrene acrylic the provides very fast drying and is relatively easy work to work with. If you use this paint, my recommendation is to not attempt a quick re-coat. If it needs a second coat, allow it to fully dry then come back and apply a second coat. I made this mistake of trying to do a quick re-coat over one section, and it was evident. Excellent hardness for a waterborne paint. Overall I think an oil based alkyd Provides a Smoother final product, but this paint dry so fast it has hardly any fumes. Great oil based alkyd alternative. This paint store also offers other commercial grade products. I noticed nitrocellulose sprayable lacquer, oil based furniture stains, and other products. The selection is somewhat limited and it is geared toward professional painters. One minor issue, no respirator cartridges for my painting respirator at the store. Employees: spoke to the manager on the phone before deciding to shop at the store. He's knowledgeable about painting products. The store clerk the day I went was lackadaisical but with some prompting he got the job done. Note custom color matches take almost a full workday at the store.

They have a lot of products made locally. They have a lot of beautiful clothing and grooming items. They offer military discount to active duty and veterans with proper ID. They representative also told us about a upcoming sale they would have this month in January. Needless to say we were able to find the colors she wanted with the Sherwin Williams paint numbers. We bought the two samples to see how it would look in the loft. I am came back on New Years day and unfortunately they were closed. I learned you can request Lowe's to match the Sherwin Williams color as you have the number and paint sample to match the color. As far value goes for this store, it is in a great accessible location in Pflugerville. I would recommend this place for all the paint colors you are looking to paint your home with.

They take such a good care of their plants here. You don't see any wilting or dying plants you only see thriving plants. And also, they have such unusual plants that I don't find anywhere else. Today I saw LITHOPS which are living rocks. They're not actually rocks are actually little plants, but they look like rocks. So interesting! I also found Coral Bells in two different colors. I cannot resist these. They are going to make an excellent addition to my garden. This store is medium priced, but their plants are high-quality. I will again come to the store to browse, and most likely I will purchase something else Amazing! Last year I mentioned that if you're trying to completely re-do an entire garden in one trip, big box stores can sometimes be cheaper. BUT this year I tried something different I made a list on the Home Depot app and decided to stop by Round Rock Garden Center first to see what I could actually get cheaper locally. And honestly, I was pleasantly surprised. I ended up getting multiple garden beds worth of plants here ...three tomato plants (including a beautiful variety called Rapunzel suggested by a worker who didn't eat them but thought they're beautiful thanks girlie), four gorgeous marigolds, two sage plants, and the last Spanish lavender they had. The herb prices were great, and I loved that I could buy individual veggie plants instead of being forced to buy them in pairs like some places. The selection was also really nice they had varieties I definitely didn't see at Home Depot. What really stood out though was the staff. When I was checking out, I asked if they had any lavender because I hadn't spotted it (I'm honestly a little blind and sometimes overlook things ). One of the ladies at the register was so kind and actually walked out from behind the counter to show me exactly where the plant was. Another staff member in a pink staff shirt even walked me all the way to the back of the property to show me where both the English and Spanish lavender were. They were incredibly patient and helpful, and never made me feel silly for missing what was probably right in front of me. I ended up choosing the Spanish lavender because it was already blooming and a bit more established, and I'm really excited to get it planted. Thank you to the team at Round Rock Garden Center for being so friendly and helpful today. I'm really grateful for the experience and for the beautiful plants!
