I have come to this location of Home Depot a good five times. I normally get pretty good service, but today was extra special. I asked for some additional bags to cover my backseat not realizing they have a roll of plastic that you can use to protect your car. Today is repotting day and I have a few plants that I want to flourish in my new place and help them grow to be beautiful to add to the addition of my home and aesthetics. The young man also helped me package up everything and went to get this big nice piece of plastic to protect my car. It's always service for me and I appreciate all that they give me as I continue to wander around this door looking lost. For me, it's the service and the willingness to work and help out a customer. 5 stars for Mariah! I went plant shopping this past Saturday at the RR HD. I had a gift card and went to the outdoor register after I found my picks. A friendly associate was at the register and I asked her if there was a good way to remove the tape/plastic safely without damaging the numbers & bar code from the card. She proceeded to scratch the card with her nails then my key removing the numbers. She tried to scan the card with no luck. She asked if I could then go inside to Customer Service to see if they could help. So, I went inside and Mariah was very helpful and determined to figure out what seemed to be erased numbers. She either used a light or magnifier (I had to step away because the other associate forgot to give me ALL my plants) to figure out what the scratch off numbers were. She figured it out and the nearby associates were surprised. I don't think I would have received the same quality of assistance if it was the one of the other two people that were in the same area at the time. Give that lady a raise! She seems to care and willing to put the time in to help a customer out! read more

I received beyond rude treatment and zero customer service from Assistant Manager, Eskender Bata. He immediately spoke down to me as if I was a child instead of a 48 year old man. In addition to some extensive customer service training, he needs to learn how to process recalls. At some time around 9:30pm August 23, 2025, I had a very unpleasant experience at the customer service area with a heavyset associate who I did not get her name. As a customer service representative who has been with Home Depot for the last 6 years, I was very shocked and displeased with how unhelpful, unfriendly, and seemingly suspicious this associate was with a simple return I was doing for my mother. I didn't care I had to wait a while to be acknowledged and helped being the only customer there. This happens, and personal conversations with fellow associates are bound to occur. But the whole encounter was very rude and unfriendly. No G.E.T was applied at all. I hope this associate can better instill the company's values in the future and exhibit at least an ounce of decent customer service moving forward. read more

I had the unfortunate experience of having 2 appliances poop out during a pandemic. Stock is total crap right now and most appliances are out of stock or backordered because manufacturers can't get parts. I bought a new fridge and dishwasher from this location. The salesperson i worked with has been helpful beyond measure. Luckily, i was able to get the exact dishwasher i wanted. The fridge ordering was not so easy. Most are out of stock or backordered as mentioned previously. I did end up with a fridge that i wanted, but not my top color choice. Four deliveries later and not only do i still have scratches, but every single one has a manufacturer defect. I still want this same stupid fridge and Home Depot has been amazing helping me basically battle the manufacturer over this. Outside of a pandemic, i would have had more choices. As time goes on, choices are shrinking even more. Home Depot has been terrific through this whole nightmare fridge experience. . read more

Capricious and Condescending Delivery Order Number available upon request. for three major Kitchen Appliances An out of state client purchased three appliances for his condo, and requested that I meet and coordinate the installation. For almost a week, I have reached out to Home Depot to get a delivery/installation window. The most recent contact was a call to their 800 number yesterday at 12:30. I was told we would be contacted that afternoon. NEVER HEARD FROM THEM. So, I get up this morning only to be given (on the link to the order) and learned they have scheduled me from 3-7 pm. Had they bothered to communicate with me, they would have learned that I have a standing meeting every Tuesday at 6 pm to prepare for Mass at my church the following evening. So, I contacted Home Depot 800 number, they offered to move to tomorrow. This after I cleared the day (Tuesday). Escalated to Scott, a supervisor. Repeatedly talked over me. Couldn't help me. Shout out to Stan, in the hardware department! My wife and I were looking for new sets of door locks (dead bolts, handles) and we had some questions. Stan came to our assistance and explained to us the nuances in re-keying based on different brands, types, etc. He was very, very helpful and really took the time to answer our questions and gave lots of examples and tips on how to go about doing things. Since buying my house and making it my "own" I have plans. Home Depot makes it easy to do all the little projects I want to do. I can show each section person a picture of what I'm trying to do and they guide me. And it's not like they are trying to sell me the most expensive supplies. I really like the team here. Plus it's nice to be treated like family. DIY... also I like he app because I was able to upload my military document and my discount is automatically approved every time. I also like the app because I bought a mail gun but forgot to put nails in the cart. It suggested "you might need". Yep I do don't I. Lol. Pick up is easy with its own department at the store. Above all everyone is friendly at the store and likes to help. They'll even ask how did a certain project turn out and that's so cool. read more

We need both the big box home improvement stores in Round Rock but Home Depot disappointed me today. I spent 2 hours picking $800 worth of lumber, which is a necessary chore because much of the stock is defective. I loaded 3 carts only to find that the payment system (cash register) required that my order be delivered from the Pflugerville store, which is 7 miles farther away. That meant that THEY would have to pick my lumber. The "Pro" guy seemed as surprised as I was, but we confirmed this policy with the on site manager. I headed over to the competing box store and they told me of course I could pick my own lumber and have it delivered, and for the same price as HD. Take nothing for granted here! read more

They went above and beyond and scoured the store until they found the exact model I needed. I've also had positive experiences in the plumbing department and in purchasing lawn equipment. Wow they were trying to exemplify the "experience"! When I drove up this location was blasting Christmas music out to the world. Then as I walked in they offered me a doughnut, coffee, or hot chocolate! As well as their sales flyer. They were running a hot Black Friday sale on Poinsettias but had sold out of the .99 ones... however they had some great 3 for 12$ in abundance. As I shopped I was greeted often and even ran into their Santa! Now that is the Holiday Sprit! I just loved it! I was very impressed by the store, the people, and the selection! read more

If I could kick everyone that works here in the shin and tell them they suck at their jobs one-by-one, I would do that. It's not just that the store is always a disaster with half the aisles blocked off by unstocked product or chained off with nobody working there or their equipment constantly just left laying around, it's that the workers there are entirely unhelpful, incompetent, and irresponsible. It's amazing that I know this about them, because legend has it you can only find one worker in the store at any given moment. The elusiveness is astounding. If I were the GM of this particular Home Depot, or the district manager, who I will be calling after this, I would be embarrassed. Embarrassed to call this my store. To call these my workers. To say that I'm contributing to society, or that my workers are. TLDR: biggest bunch of dum dums you'll ever come across in a Home Depot or Lowe's. read more

Than tell me that the guy was was new and how he didn't know anything. But I have 3 other employees tell me the same thing with him there. The store's merchandise seems to change locations pretty often and it's usually hard to find floor staff. I'll come here because I prefer it over Lowe's but it seems that they need more floor staff and less checkers. I feel have come across the occasional friendly and helpful staffer, but usually I feel like they're annoyed by questions. I came in here yesterday purchased almost $3,000 in materials and I couldn't even get $50 off it used to be a time wen ever you got anything over $1,500 they would see if they could take a couple cents here and there and it would add up to $70-$90 depending on how much you got that was over $1,500 that was the incentives they would give us to buy from here n not lowes can't get that . Ok cool can I get help loading it to my trailer nope I had to load up all the post all the concrete they only helped me with the pickets but it was well over 400 . They had 3-4 guys just laughing at the fact I had to load all this things I said well I'm leaving 64 2x4x8s 18 bags of concrete and some other things can y'all set them aside for me till tomorrow morning? Great place for your needs when it comes to fixing it, building it, landscaping, gardening, remodeling, renting tools / equipment and so much more. Prices are reasonable on most things and over priced on some things. The staff is friendly when you can find an associate when you need help. It's not like the old days when workers would approach you and ask if you needed help. Sometimes it appears they are hoping you don't ask when you're walking by them or them by you. The reason for minus one star is they do not give veteran discounts unless you're active, retired or a disabled vet. The only day I can get a discount is on Veterans Day, because I served. I feel like I'm discriminated against for no longer being active, retired, or for not having any disabilities from my thirteen years of service. read more

I feel as though they could use a little more floor staff, especially over in the lumber department. My husband and I visited over the weekend and there was one person in that area sawing the wood, so it was difficult finding help to get some more timbers and when we did finally ask, they told us it would take thirty minutes to get some from the back. They have a good selection of items and if you use their website, you can easily find the aisle items are located. They then overcharged us for each timber so we had to go back inside after loading our car to get a refund. I understand mistakes happen, I'm just glad we noticed. Everyone there was nice, but they could use a little more help on the weekends. read more

Bust my buttons; here is a place of many things! Well Home Depot is a hardware store, if you have been to any Home Depot in the area you have basically been here, they are almost the same everywhere. I went here the other day to buy new Home air filters, guess what they had them. My wife goes here a lot and buys stuff, yes stuff. What is stuff? Stuff is: see next paragraph. If you want tools to build things they got em, if you want tools to destroy things they got em. If you want things to cook food on they got em, if you want things to clean things they got em. If you want wood of any kind they got em, if you want things that fix things that you have to fix things with they got em. If you want chemicals to kill things they got em, if you want chemicals to help things grow they got em. They almost anything you may need for around the house projects to do what you need to do when you need to do it. What they do not have is a place to sit and eat a snack, might be nice if they added a small snack station that servered burgers, fries and drinks. Some of us could spend all day here looking for something we went in for and come out with everything but what we went in for. By the way as far as I can tell they do not have much in the way of A/C in the summer so sometime it gets hot in the summer. Guess what I forgot the salt for the water softener, now I need to go back. Would I go back? Yes I have to go get what I need and most likely something I don't need. read more

I went to Home Depot yesterday in round rock Texas and had a horrible experience. I was trying to buy a kitchen island for my brothers new apartment. We pulled the one up on the computer that I found on my computer at home and I said that's the one I want. It was the over $900 for the Island which I said ol Let's do it. I am one of the trustees for my brothers trust account and one of my siblings is the other trustee but she lives out of town. I gave her the credit card number and information to pay for the Island. She then informed me she could not do that, I asked why not and she said we just can't do that you must have the card to swipe . And then I ask well you do that online if I bought it online I would put the credit card information in and purchase the item. She called a couple of people assuming they told her no and I asked her to see a manager. She then said I'll call somebody else and ask them, I said I'd like to speak to the manager please. I got frustrated and told her she wasn't helping me at all and walked away to go find somebody to help me. On the way up to the front counter I approached another employee in and asked him to direct me to the manager. He immediately asked me, well can I help you I pause for moment I said no I want to speak to the manager. He went a couple isles over got on his phone and called someone. He came back to tell me the manager was busy he was outside on a forklift. I turned then walked upfront to the customer service and got the same treatment from another service representative and immediately there were two more service representatives as an audience to the conversation we had. Which was The same conversation I had with the very first person. Being very frustrated I turn to leave and another representative stood in front of me and told me I had to go out another door. I elected to go out that door and left. I went to another Home Depot and purchase the item no problem and the representative that helped me was fabulous. I will never set foot back in the Home Depot in round rock Texas these people don't give a damn about anything except probably their lunch break and coffee break and when they get off work. I had to give 1 star to submit this horrible experience otherwise I would have given a zero stars. read more

We shop this store for all home needs incl. landscaping. Was just in the lawn n garden dept. They have some really nice black wrought iron patio chairs that also gently rock. Were $129.00. Poor customer service. Bought a glass shower door (the 1,2,3 model with 3 different products required to assemble the final door). Carried it in my car and got home to realize the hardware supposed to be in box 1 was missing. I had already unpacked the product... So I went to Home Depot Round Rock to ask for the missing hardware kit. I didn't bring the glass panel since it's heavy, it was unpacked already and there's always risk transporting glass. Customer Service told me to go find someone in the respective product aisle (which by itself is a challenge already). When I found someone that person told me I should see customer service. Getting to customer service they told me the hardware should be in box 2 (which is a DIFFERENT product with very specific items inside). I told them that the items missing were from box 1 but they don't seem to listen to their customers. They sent me back home to do my "homework" and check box 2. Guess what: no hardware kit on box 2. Now I have to pack the glass door again and take it back to the store for a return when this could be simply resolved by taking a kit from another product and opening a case with the manufacturer for missing parts. I usually like shopping at Home Depot (and actually do a lot) but this time I think my frustration is bigger than my loyalty to a big box store. read more
