We are having to delay our remodeling project till next year, so I will update this review with…read moremore info when we move forward, but Teamwork Home Designs already deserves a resounding 5 Stars, and is absolutely who we would want to move forward with. Avi was an absolutely delight. Fast, clear communication before the initial meeting. Very thoughtful approach in our initial meeting. So many images from their highly impressive portfolio to help us think through options. Excellent examples of communication and workflow from previous projects. Instantly ready to share previous customers we could reach out to for references. A really good balance between sharing his ideas for our project, but also really listening to our feedback on what we wanted/invisoned. All the right insights for how to keep us in budget, and very generous with (we can add this/that for little/no extra costs since we're already doing XYZ). We mainly requested a bid on two projects (Kitchen and Primary Bathroom) and help deciding the scope for the remainder of our projects (Flooring, Guest Bath, Office, Patio, Etc.). We were very impressed with how realistic, but also open-minded he was with what portion of our "bonus" projects we could fit in. The formal quote came in fast after our initial meeting, was easy to follow, and fairly priced. Found the proposed timeline to be very well balanced for efficiency vs realism. Appreciated the suggestions provided for if we should/could "live-in" during the remodel vs. a timeline that would allow the bulk of the work to overlap with a time that we were going to be out of town already. Also insights on what it would be worth "buying in advance" to take advantage of sales, even if the actual work was delayed. We got a few quotes and would have felt confident moving forward with any of them when the time came, but the quality of their portfolio and Avi's attentive listening definitely put Teamwork Home Designs at the top of the list. Can't wait to work with them in the future.

My experience with this company was disappointing. The team appeared comfortable working on bathroom renovations; however, the shower diverter was not installed correctly, which caused the handle to be improperly aligned. We later hired a licensed plumber to inspect and correct the issue. Overall, the quality of work did not meet our expectations. Some aspects of the workmanship appeared rushed, and based on our experience, I would recommend exercising caution with detail-oriented tasks such as wood staining, drywall, painting, or door hardware installation. This project did not go as smoothly as anticipated, and I would not choose to work with this company again.

To Whom It May Concern,…read more I am writing to share our experience with Luxe Kitchen and Bath to warn others about their business practices, particularly regarding their treatment of a disabled veteran and his wife. We hired Luxe Kitchen and Bath for several home improvements, but the quality of work was unacceptable and improperly executed: - Flooring: The original glue was not removed, and the slab was not leveled before installation. When an independent flooring inspector evaluated the work, Greg falsely claimed a moisture barrier had been installed. Luxe Kitchen and Bath later stated they let the installer go, yet Don refused to accept the inspection report and demanded an additional $5,000 to fix the issue, claiming my wife's wheelchair caused the damage. - Plumbing & Bathroom: They broke the toilet flanges and overtightened the toilet, cracking the porcelain and causing water to leak beneath the flooring. - Doors & Paint: The storm doors were not installed properly, and the wall painting was poorly executed. Throughout this process, project management and communication were virtually non-existent. Don never visited the site to inspect the work, and Greg only came when specifically requested. We received no progress updates, and Don failed to appear for the independent inspection, sending Greg and Kim instead. It is deeply unacceptable for a contractor to perform sub-standard work, refuse to take responsibility, and attempt to blame the resulting damage on a disability while demanding more money. Sincerely, Bryan

Our kitchen is a picture of absolute perfection - thanks for Alex and his team! He did an amazing…read morejob and went above and beyond to make sure everything - absolutely everything, was perfect and to our liking. I was in awe of his attention to detail, the care he showed from the beginning of the process to the very end and the precision with which everything was executed. A+ indeed!!! Here is the whole story for those interested: We are in the process of bringing our whole house into the 21st century and we decided to start with the hardest, but probably most exciting - our kitchen. It took several months for us to come up with the design and pick the cabinets. We knew we would most likely pick IKEA cabinets as they are about the only place in town that offers great modern-looking cabinets. We looked at Lowes, Home Depot and Cabinets to Go, just to check them off the list and decided to go with IKEA in the end, just as we thought we would. Another reason we went with IKEA was because they offer an online kitchen planning tool where you can do your layout and see how everything fits and IKEA will even verify your plan and create a shopping list for you so you order everything that's needed. We also liked IKEA's price transparency - you make your plan, you pick your cabinets and the program calculates the total price of your kitchen for you. We even thought we would get the countertop there and have everything installed by IKEA, to make the process super easy and simple. So once we designed the kitchen, picked our cabinets and were ready to move forward with installation, it turned out not everything was that simple. IKEA told us that we would not be able to get what we wanted because they hardly do any customizations - they don't cut cabinets, they don't cut doors, they wouldn't put a panel we wanted on one of the kitchen walls and they wouldn't even adjust an insert for a 12" cabinet to have one shelf instead of two! And every time we talked to an IKEA rep they told us a different thing! We were getting frustrated and after several weeks of trying to make adjustments and make compromises, we decided that we need to go with plan B - find someone else to install our kitchen. While starting looking for someone else, I remembered that one of my friends, who had her kitchen done recently, highly recommended Aplus. I found the phone number and called. I left a message and Alex promptly returned my call. He came over that same week to look at the space and I immediately had a good feeling about him. I emailed him the kitchen plan and he provided a quote a few days later. The quote was comparable to IKEA price-wise, but we were getting everything we wanted and more, so I told Alex that we, of course, are going to pick APlus! Installation was very smooth and I felt like it was more of a collaboration than a hired contractor doing an installation. I told Alex that there were some things I was not sure about and wanted to see how each version would look before deciding on the final one and Alex was more than happy to accommodate and he provided lots of invaluable advice, too. He also provided extra services per our request. We wanted to install laminate on all three walls in the kitchen to serve as backsplash and when I told him that I had trouble finding someone to do it, he agreed to install it and it looks perfect! He also installed the exhaust hood - and it's perfect, of course. I tell you - we would hire Alex to do EVERYTHING he would agree to do with the rest of the remodel - that's how much we trust him and appreciate the quality of his work. I know I am going to sound very sentimental when I say this, but I truly feel that he is a rare gem that we were lucky to find. The love and care he puts into his work is absolutely priceless!

They display some over the top, amazing stuff like automatic toilets that practically talk to you but don't let that scare you, they have all the quality go-to brands with great prices and availability, in addition to the one of a kind "wow" faucets you might want to splurge on. A few pro tips before you go - I recommended making a trip to browse prior to making an appointment. There are SO many pretty fun things to look at and options these days so it helps be less overwhelmed when you are ready to start making decisions. An appointment is a MUST! You will get a dedicated knowledge sales person to walk you through every single thing you might need. They sell plumbing, appliances, lighting and cabinet hardware! If you don't make an appointment you run the risk of long wait times and not getting seen by the best, most knowledgeable sales staff in town. Not only are they great in the selection process they have a team and recourses to help with anything that comes during your project (because we know remodels are the most pleasant experiences right???). We had a part missing from our faucet when we got our delivery and the team helped me verify the part and get it sent out under warranty. Overall, remodels can be stressful especially during a pandemic but the Ferguson team will make your life easier during the process! I wish they sold more because not all vendors are as responsive and on top of it.

Cutco knives are made in the USA to last, and the Cutco company believes so strongly in its product that each knife is "guarantee forever" including free sharpening. What?! Until recently, I did not have Cutco knives but, just as I was contemplating an upgrade of my kitchen knives, my sweet Mom gifted me with the set she'd had for years but no longer used. Did the guarantee convey to a new owner? Were these older knives (circa 1970s) eligible for free sharpening? What about the French Chef knife that had a chink missing from the blade? Could it be fixed? When I called the Cutco Kitchen in Rollingwood (in the shopping center where the Post Office is) the answer to all my questions was, without hesitation or question, "yes." I took the knives in today and the experience couldn't have been better. It's a small shop but has a very wide array of Cutco products: all the knives, kitchen utensils, spices, gardening tools, and other handy household items. Although there was only one sales person present, I was the only customer so I had her attention immediately. The sales person examined each knife and found one that had a broken point, which I had not noticed. They would mail it and the damaged French Chef knife to the company for any repairs or replacement. The other knives were sharpened at the shop. I brought my non-Cutco knives, too, because they only charge $5 per knife for sharpening. This took about 10 minutes or so, more than enough time for me to pop by the USPO and Great Harvest Bread Co. where I got an amazing loaf of bread (but that's another Yelp review). Their process is to call me when the replacement/repaired knifes are ready for pick-up, which should be about 10 days. Yes, the Cutco products are pricey but I believe they are worth it. My Mom used her Cutco knives for about 50 years before passing them on to me and I suspect they will be around long after I no longer need them. In Cutco's case, you definitely get what you pay for.

New Creations also transformed a small, dull library/bar space into something amazing. This is our second time working with New Creations. Roy Faust and his team are true professionals and committed to making everything right. We trust Roy and that was a primary consideration for us in choosing someone to remodel our kitchen. Erin Rooney presented us with 5 design/layout options to consider. This was all done on the computer so we could see the layout and elevation views of each option. Erin visualized options that that we couldn't and we could not be happier with the final product. We gained so much countertop and cabinet space! No more cramped drawers or competition for cutting board space. Erin was with us every step of the way in selecting materials and colors. She definitely has a talent that you should utilize. The cabinetry built and installed by Apollo is amazing. We had the cabinets stained and went from a natural finish to a darker look. We love the contrast of the cabinets with the lighter backsplash and counters. It really makes the kitchen look so elegant. Apollo also installed the backsplash and flooring. He is meticulous with his workmanship and you can trust him to get it right. We couldn't be happier with investment we made in our home. Thank you NC!

That alone says a lot about the design and the quality of the workmanship. Even more impressive--I still remember the crew and the people from back then, and every one of them was great. Their work has truly stood the test of time. What really set New Creation apart for me was their design thinking. I remember clearly that their layout ideas were far better than others I had spoken with--that's ultimately why I chose them. They didn't just execute well; they thought differently and delivered a smarter, more functional space. To me, the best testament you can give is this: I loved it on day one, and I still love it 15 1/2 years later (that's over 5,600 days, if you're counting). We swapped out our existing chrome faucets for gold hardware, and the difference is night and day. The previous faucets had a very sleek, almost Star Trek-ish look (a fun nod to my hubby, who is a serious sci‑fi fan), but they no longer fit the direction the bathroom was taking. Once the rest of the space came together, it was clear the chrome felt out of place. The new gold faucets align beautifully with the overall design and add warmth and elegance to the room. They tie everything together in a way the chrome simply couldn't. What felt like a small change ended up making a big visual impact, elevating the finished space and giving it a more cohesive, intentional look. If you're on the fence about switching hardware finishes, this is proof that even after the "big" remodel work is done, thoughtful finishing touches can truly transform the final result. The faucets were priced competitively. Many thanks to folks at Tri-Supply!

We were initially told that the order would take about a week to arrive. Some days later, I got a text from the sales rep saying the order would arrive on October 12-two weeks after we placed it. We were already delayed on our kitchen project so that was disappointing but we felt stuck, so we decided to wait it out. Never heard back from Tri-Supply. I called on the 12th to check on the order and was told it "should be here"--but no confirmation that it had actually arrived. Fortunately the staff found it and brought it to the front desk before I arrived. Side note: I was a little annoyed that I had to pick this up myself instead of it being shipped directly to me; I've ordered samples from Top Knobs so I know they have the ability to ship direct. The order was packed in a FedEx box. I checked the tracking--and it had arrived at Tri-Supply on October 5! So they just let it sit in the warehouse for a week without contacting me--and just waited for me to call to see if it was there! I checked the text from the sales rep (the one who said it would be ready on the 12th), and it turns out he had actually texted me that on the 5th--the same day it was delivered to their showroom! I have to say, all around this was a very disappointing experience. Lack of communication delayed our project by a week. And it's low-key infuriating because we could've gotten the items much sooner from Wayfair--and with a 15% off new customer discount. I contacted Tri-Supply a week ago to give them a chance to make this right, and I never heard back.
