Last week, I placed and paid for an order for $15,000 of exterior paint for a new community in Lakeway. It got delivered today and every bucket of paint was 2 shades off. Not bad, but noticeable. I called the store expecting to have to argue with them all day about what the remedy should be. To my surprise, they said, "we'll send a few delivery trucks right now, pick it up and remake it. No charge." Uh what??? This is how you handle mistakes in business. I'm really pleased. I think I'm more impressed with them because of how they handled this mistake than I would have been if they hadn't messed up the paint in the first place.

I needed something quickly since the contractors were at my house waiting, and he used the computer to get a color match that convinced me, at least, that it was perfect. So imo, even their quick match job is as good as that other paint store that covers the world. They're open 7-5:30 M-S and closed Sunday at this location. Parking is available in the adjacent lot. Time to break out that honey do list and get cracking.
