Painter's paint store. A friend who lives nearby introduced me to this gem. I go here for stuff I…read morecannot get at the other SW stores or when I have a project nearby. For my 1952 duplex, I really wanted to remove the paint from the all-metal vintage kitchen cabinetry and expose the silver on the original cabs and add stainless appiances. Basically, I just want a silver kitchen with splashes of saturated color. Because it is in a wet area, I did not want the cabs to rust, but needed to clear-seal them. So, stripping was in order. As was a clear prophylactic for ultimate protection. For the fastest, sexiest and easiest stripping job, I found Peel Away Smart Strip. It is supposed to be "green"... at least they had green on the label. I wouldn't eat it, though. Another SW had run out of Peel Away, but this old standby had some buckets. A good stripper... I will drive across town and pay good money for that. For the clear-seal, I talked with the guys here about the best commercial application for protecting and sealing the exposed metal. His suggestion worked perfectly: Sherwin Williams Chemical Coating Opex acrylic clear metal lacquer cut 50/50 with lacquer thinner and then sprayed on in several light coats.

Stay away. We spent around $3000 on paint when this team recommended that their paint was GREAT for…read morecabinets. Only after we purchased all the paint did we realize that they recommend a 17 day cure time. This makes it almost impossible to use the paint on cabinets or paint cabinet doors on both sides. We ended up having to let the cabinets dry over a month with a fan on it as they instructed and the paint is still sticky almost 3 months later. Every time we take something out of our pantry, the paint peels off and there are indentation marks from anything remotely heavy. Photo has one small example. And no, I'm not a DIY-er who doesn't know what they're doing. We had a very professional painter do the work. He even called them multiple times to make sure he was doing everything right. We ended up having to get the paint color matched at Benjamin Moore to complete the job because we couldn't jeopardize the custom cabinets we just spent tens of thousands on. Highly recommend just doing that. And silk and sage refuses to return our unused gallons. Don't believe them. Maybe their paint is better for the art in their store and maybe walls but not for actual use in real home projects.

We tried everything to fix it - the job was too big to use rollers and we needed the sprayer to finish on time. We said oh no! what are we going to do??? My brother had his sprayer fixed by EAH in Round Rock last time this happened but he had to wait for three weeks for it to be fixed and it cost too much money. It was 1 pm in the afternoon and we went to Sherwin Williams to ask if they know anybody who can fix it fast. They told us go to TRS - Ted's Repair Service because it is nearby here in Austin and they said maybe Ted can help us. Erica is the office lady at TRS and she is very nice. She told us they have alot of repair customers and can't fix it for one or two weeks. OH NO!!!!!!! :-( We told Erica that we really needed it fixed today. She said she wants to help us and she asked if we could pay a little more for them to fix it today. We said YES! PLEASE! we need it fixed FAST so we can finish the job! She told us don't worry Ted will help us and she will call me after Ted looks at it. We were still worried that she would not call us and we will not finish painting on time but she was right we did not have to worry. She called us like 20 minutes after we dropped off the paint sprayer and told us that Ted can fix it and how much it will cost.. The repair was the same thing that EAH did last time and my brother thinks that EAH charged too much and probably didn't fix it right. Even though we paid more money to get it fixed faster at TRS they were STILL cheaper than EAH and they fixed it in 3 hours instead of 3 weeks. Erica called us back again like one hour later and said to come get the paint sprayer because Ted finished the repairs and it is ready. My brother very happy because we finished painting the house on time and the owners liked our paint job and they were happy too. We want to tell all of the painters if they don't know where to take their paint sprayers. You should take your sprayer to Ted's Repair Service. They are cheap. They are fast. They are nice and they helped us BIG TIME. They are in Austin if you are in Austin. Even if you are in Round Rock, you should go to Ted's Repair Service because they are the best.

Four Hands Outlet carries medium grade furniture. It appears to be foundational type furniture. There were a number of tables, chairs and sofa to peruse in the store. I will likely pop by when the tent is fully stocked. It is important to note that Four Hands Outlet has earned a number of Yelp awards. The sales representative shared her knowledge of what was going to be included in the sale, although her knowledge was limited. The furniture ranges from low to medium price range.
