We stopped by Floor and Decor at Parmer Lane and IH 35 to look at some bathroom back splash and tiles. We did not have much time left as we both had to get back to work. Every time we turned a corner Floor & Decor staff was asking if we needed in help. The staff was helpful and friendly, which made our time at Floor & Decor pleasant. We got some great ideas today. We, however, need to come back and spend an hour or two looking at all their materials. Quite honestly, they had so many materials, it was bit overwhelming. Interestingly, we did not see anything from our Pinterest Wishlist. Our contractor has other decor places to explore in search of materials for our future bathroom. We likely will review the other places this weekend. We spent $0 today. At the end of the day, it will not take us long to actually to begin to spend money for our bathroom remodel. read more

Just want to update and add Mary Lu for a shout out because she was so helpful with a very complicated return!

Initially, the experience was relatively positive, but overall, it turned out to be mostly negative. We needed our floors to be redone, so we purchased vinyl planks, reducers, baseboards, underlayment, and other necessary items for the project from this store. The reducers were a special order, and we were informed it would take up to 3 weeks. We decided to start the project while we wait for the reducers to come in. After a few weeks, I reached out for an update. Unfortunately, the phone # listed either hangs up or just loops forever, prompting me to visit the store in person to investigate the delay. We find out that there's been some issue so it was cancelled and reordered. Another 3 weeks passed, and I discovered that the reorder had not been done correctly. If I wanted the reducers, I would have to place another order and endure another 3-week wait. At this point we are now almost 2 months in. we are waiting for this step to be finished so we can go ahead with the next steps of the project. So I cancelled and asked for a refund to be send to my cc that I signed up with them. For whatever reason they were not able to refund to the account and said the refund has to come from corporate. Just a lot of hassle and confusion that I felt shouldn't be there for a company that deals largely with high dollar value items. Anyway, I ultimately ended up getting my refund in the mail so that chapter is closed. We ended up getting the closest color we can get to the new floors off the shelves. As you can imagine, DW was not happy. Regarding the floors, although they possess the desired color, the quality is subpar. Just four months in, various planks are already showing signs of damage. These planks seem highly susceptible to scratching, and despite installing them all the same way, 30% of them are experiencing issues where the edges are lifting up and becoming damaged. It's unclear if these are defective or exactly what the issue is. I worry that installing these floors may have negatively impacted the resale value of our home. In retrospect, I wish we spend a little more elsewhere and get a more quality product. I don't think I will be coming back here again. read more

They tell you that their flooring has a 20-year warranty; however, when you start having problems with the flooring within the first year, they blame everyone and everything but their terrible product. Please do yourself a favor and purchase from a legitimate company. Even though you'll pay more up front, you won't have to purchase a whole new house of flooring again. read more

Floor and Decor was an OK experience. Really hands off design guides and basically like an IKEA like experience of walking around and trying to match things. I'm sure this experience comes with the properly associated price point but we didn't get that far. My suggestion is have more designers on the floor and get a better understanding of what their project is because we didn't leave feeling listened to properly. read more

This is the second time I have ordered tile online from this company, they have some great options and prices you cannot beat but the service is just not good. I placed an online order, got my confirmation the next day that order was ready. I scheduled a pickup time 24 hours in advance and between 5-6pm proceeded to pickup my order after getting off work at 430. Got there about 450 and checked in per their instructions and waited. After 20 minutes I went inside to check on the status and was told it was being processed. Went back to my car and proceeded to wait another 30-40 minutes for my order. They finally came out with 2 orders for the men in trucks who came after I did and loaded theirs, then finally they came back with my much smaller order and loaded it. No explanation on why there was such a long wait. Just thank you and buh-bye! I mean I guess at least they said thank you, but what is the point of scheduling a time for pickup if it's not going to be ready at said time??? I figured 24 hour advance was plenty of time to have my order ready to go, but obviously it doesn't matter. I definitely won't be ordering from them again! read more

My wife and I were trying to return some tile here on a day when it was raining. Tile had some raindrops on it and the manager refused to take it back, kept yelling "NOT SALABLE" at my wife! This guy needs to be removed as not the way to treat anyone, especially a customer. We went to Braker Lane store and they are GREAT there. They took the tile back as there was clearly nothing wrong with it. We will take all our business in the future to Braker Lane store. Juan Martinez at the Parmer store has provided me with the BEST customer service! Not only is he very knowledgeable about the products, he went above and beyond in helping me placing a big order that consisted of 8 types of tiles, huge order of wood flooring and various matching components. He's so smart and incredibly quick with the computer system which made the order process so much quicker than it could have been. He physically tracked down boxes of discontinued tiles that were at the corner of the uppermost shelf and drove those lifts to take them down. Opened multiple boxes for me to check on the consistency, etc. He helped with checking on status of my order and troubleshooting with delivery. Called the store numerous times, left on auto hold and then disconnected each time. Drove to store approximately 35 miles to check on order and they tell me it was canceled but they have no explanation why and no one called me. I spent most of the day yesterday hand loading portions of a large order into my SUV and unloading in my garage to save some money. The Parmer Warehouse staff, especially Taylor, Richard, and Jesse, were extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and a pure joy to work with as they helped me load my truck 7 TIMES!!. I placed my order online. Everything I needed was in stock at the nearest store to me. A day later i was notified that my order was ready for pick up. None of the boxes were opened/returns. No one complained about having to unpack my pallets to hand load into my SUV. Thru helped me figure out how much things weighed so i didn't exceed towing capacity each load. They sold sample with "A" quality but delivered product with quality "B" inferior quality. Their product contains high VOC which is harmful. This store stood out to me way more than the other stores I stopped in because the design team really seemed on point. I made an appointment with Kelly Griffin. I came with a few key words to the ideas floating in my head and brought a sample of my cabinet. She took me through some options that best fit my idea. What I couldn't do without major headache and stress-Kelly G made fun and the process of deciding on tile felt so easy with her suggestions. She's a professional and had good suggestions and even showed me some options that never would have occurred to me. I picked my flooring based on a sample design she made that was displayed at the front of the store. Great plus was that the price was amazing! Both of the Kellys at Parmer were really helpful any time I had questions, and you cannot go wrong making a design appointment at this store. If you are struggling to decide what route to take in your remodel-make an appointment! You won't regret it. Your really cannot afford not to make an appointment. I purchased a butcher block from your store on 11-20-20. When I went to get the item from the pick up area, Ryan brought the item out to my car. RYAN pointed some damage on the box, which had severely damaged the butcher block. I am thankful for Ryan's observation skills, and that he did not just load it into my car saying nothing. I also needed help physically moving 6 heavy boxes of backsplash to a cart. And then when you do finally purchase something it takes 30 minutes to an hour to get it loaded in the back. One forklift and two employees? What's the point of having such a beautiful, organized store when your customers can't get in and out with what they want? Maybe do your decorating when it's closed and focus on where the money comes from. Never had this problem at the Braker Store. I'll keep my $50k worth of tile purchases a year over there. read more

Super disappointing experience. After having a manufacturer defect in the plank flooring we paid to have delivered (1800 sq ft worth), getting them to swap out the defective product has been a complete nightmare. I live 3 hours away from the project address which can cause quite the logistical issues, especially when things go wrong. After dealing with poor communication and having to personally contact the store multiple times to get things moving along, they finally arranged for another store to schedule the delivery of the replacement flooring OVER FOUR WEEKS after I originally reported the issue. The delivery window I was given was 8am-5pm, which is ridiculous, and was told by the "store manager", Chad Gunner, that there was nothing they could do to give a better idea of timing (again, am 3 hours away and have to arrange for someone to receive the delivery), but he assured me that I would receive a call from the store when the third party delivery service arrived to load up the planks to give me as much advance notice as possible. Not only did the delivery service inform me, the DAY BEFORE, that the delivery window was actually 7am-6pm (SERIOUSLY?!), but I received NO CALL from the store on delivery day. I did receive a call from the delivery guy telling me he was 20 MINUTES away. Floor & Decor clearly does not respect their customers' time - they made it clear they don't respect mine. I have not had a more negative customer service experience with any other home improvement store, than I have in this situation. Should have kept my money with Lowe's - they know their Pros livelihoods depend on getting projects completed in a timely manner. This alone has delayed our entire project over a month and has kept the house from being move-in ready. Do better Chad Gunner and Floor & Decor! read more

She answered my million questions, gave us plenty of ideas to choose from, and helped us narrow down our choices. She really knows the inventory and made the most of our time. During the past two years, my husband and I have remodeled two homes. We have probably visited this store 30 times! Last week when we visited, one of the worker gave me a hug like we were old friends! The customer service is unbelievable! Everyone in the store is exceptionally professional and friendly. We were there today purchasing all the flooring for our new home. Our salesperson, Kleat, was friendly, helpful and very patient. He helped me dig through countless boxes of marble backsplash tile pieces to find the exact color I was looking for. He also called another store and spent countless time making sure they had our order, placed it on hold and would have it ready for pickup when we needed. He also made sure that they got our very large order ( right before closing) ready to be loaded so we could make the hour plus drive home. With his help we found the perfect back splash, the grout, silicone and all the tools we would need plus gave us so many pointers which we are very appreciative of because YouTube made everything look so simple.
