Only area for opportunity is the outdoor garden area. Definitely has seen better days. The order did come in the following week and instead of the store calling on Wed/Thu, I called on Friday to confirm. Jeff hunted the item down and I was able to pickup on Saturday. I'll keep this place in mind for hardware store needs as well as decoration/small housewares.

How well made they were looks like good quality. Then I saw a very unique large peice of thick wood with 4 or 5 very large bulbs wrapped hanging like a a chandelier. I did find a porcelain baby bath tub and it looked like an antique sells for about 250.00 price tag but well worth it. I truly love there choices for clothing but forgot to bring my purse in. I definitely will return so many very unique items they carry. As I shall return and get the candles with a wonderful heavenly scented. This is an ACE hardware store coupled with a tasteful, high end and carefully curated and presented homeware selection, including tableware, gardening supplies, greeting cards, candies and candles and one of a kind objects for the home. A $2,400 candelabra, a Smeg toaster, an excellent selection of flatware, tablecloths and glassware... pretty pajamas, $90 votive candles... But what to do if you want to know the price of that set of Wedgewood china, or the Rialto flatware? Prices are missing on so so many objects. And you cannot find a staff member... And you only have so much time before you need to meet mom for lunch. Ah well. Many of us are trying to ween ourselves off of online shopping. Retail stores... this is your moment to recoup some ground.

My husband went to the Westlake location today instead of the 29th Street location because it was more convenient and came home and told me his experience was like mine -- the staff was unavailable and somewhat dismissive. They told him there would be a three hour wait for gift wrap. Another customer got very frustrated with the lack of help checking out. Hopefully corporate reads these reviews and uses it as an opportunity to hire different managers and/or train the staff better at this location. This has been a longstanding problem at this location but is NOT a problem at the other Breed & Company locations.

We've been considering repainting our bedroom because, ew to white walls (SO basic & boring). Narrowed my initial 17 color selections down to 4. I am sure the folks at PPG thought I was a maniac going home with so many swatches, lol. Nonetheless, we're down to the 4 choices and swung by today to get the colors in actual paint form. Going to be painting some small test squares on one of the bedroom walls. Anyhoo, I ramble because it's important to know the type of customer the employees were dealing with and how their assistance and service impacted the visits. Extremely professional (these guys know their stuff and have great taste on top of that), friendly, and helpful in making my choices. This location is the industrial contractor location but they do sell to residential. Even at the residential stores, whiskers only comes in the 5 gallon jugs, unless you want it custom mixed.
