Per my previous review beware and be aware that IMHO you should not purchase large appliances from HD. This 5-stsr review is for their paint department. Arriving around noonish I expected a long wait to order stain. I was met, at the paint area, by a very friendly and competent woman. Since I was matching the color that my neighbor used she quickly located the correct stain and provided guidance regarding how much stain I needed. She also opened one of the cans to ensure that it was the right color (the had to add tint). Less than 15 minutes later I was checking out and on my way to lunch. Even though Lowes is closer to my home driving to this HD is AOK as H Mart and their food court is right next door. read more

It's a standard Home Depot. Ginormous orangey building full of home stuff, clean side aisles, friendly and helpful staff and some fast check-out workers. Tons of selection and you can spend a whole day browsing about. Personally I'm a huge fan of the garden section. Get your houseplants and succulents and hanging baskets of flowers here. I was very tempted by a little cactus in a brown pot, but I didn't want to leave it in the car when I went on with the rest of my errands. Sunlight is one thing, leaving it in what is essentially an oven is another. I picked up the item I was looking for and had no issues checking out, there weren't even any lines this time. Pricing is pretty standard, but I don't get out too many other hardware stores. Not a place I'd drive out of my way for. read more

When I asked if a store manager was on duty, Megan the Mgr in carpet) said she didn't think so... when I asked at check out if that was true, the lady found various reasons for why Megan might have said that (since apparently lying is not an option). Maybe she meant the manager was busy (i.e. too busy to talk to a customer). The good news is that there is a Lowe's as close to me as the HD as I'm done with this store. read more

8am on a Friday there is an employee and a Behr rep at the paint counter. No customers. I am looking at the pile of oops paint. There is at least five, 5 gallon buckets of paint. I want one of them but I'm told "they haven't been processed yet" ok so go ahead and do your jobs and process them so you can sell paint. Also the Behr guy had an attitude when I told him I interviewed for Behr once. Said I was too "enthusiastic" about paint and not a paper pusher. He says yeah well we are "salesman" and I'm like yup and most of you have NEVER professionally painted and can't offer any help when it's needed. Bro if your job is to sell paint go ahead and process that enormous pile of oops paint so those of us that actually work for a living can buy it. Also maybe do a better job mixing so you don't have soooooo much of it. read more

I went in last week with my dog, he's never been in a store but I wanted him to get some enrichment in for the day while it was cold. (Retired cattle dog) Unfortunately he has a nervous tummy and he's never been in a big store so he made a rather unfortunate mess. He is normally super anxious about strangers, but the employee there, Diane, became his best friend while I cleaned up his mess. She was so helpful and kind and understanding. My dog and I were incredibly appreciative of her kindness and caring. Props to Diane and Home Depot for being great! Recently I rented a cargo van as well, the online process to pickup was very smooth and couldn't be happier. I had ordered a huge 8' workbench that that had to be stored in receiving and the staff brought that to us ASAP and away we went in the rental. I tried other Home Depots but the employees had zero clue how to order one using their own custom rug service and loads of apathy. At this location, Sharon McCrary is the best. I came to this Home Depot location to get some supply and I am very disappointed as I came in and asked one of the representatives for assistance and he told me the product I was looking wasn't a certain aisle and when I went there I could not find it, so I went back to him and he Tried to find it with me couldn't and was unhelpful after five minutes I gave up on him and just went to the front desk and they were able to assist me usually when I go to Home Depot. What the heck? I bought a range hood online, and it arrived damaged. I called to have it replaced and was told tough luck because I did not call within 48 hrs after delivery. Really? 48hrs? That is the craziest thing I have ever heard. While talking with the store manager, he became very rude and defensive and told me that my $600 purchase was down the drain and that I could not return or replace the damaged item. I will now do all of my home repair shopping at Lowes. read more

I made the mistake of ordering a workbench ship to the store. I knew I should have just paid to ship to my house or even better found it locally. Won't ever make that mistake again. I got emails about it shipping. Got an email on Friday saying it will be ready for pick up Monday. Made arrangements and got a truck. Then the workbench sits at the store all day Monday because your store associates are too lazy to unload a truck. Then I call the store to ask about it and they lie. They told me even though the tracking says it's there it's really not. So who is a liar? Them or you? I don't give money to liars and people that waste my time. Lesson learned. The self-checkout person - Michelle (Name on receipt) is awful. I asked her about securing a gift card which she was standing near. I asked would have to do anything during my check-out. She was like NO. I ring up my gift card and it immediately stated "the station needs assistance". She walks away from me. She starts a conversation with another employee. She stayed away from me for a while and the machine kept repeating itself. She comes back to the middle and sips her soda and asks me if I needed assistance. The other employee that she was talking with says she will be right with you as they both were laughing. She comes over to assist. I asked her why she did not assist early realizing that I needed her assistance since she handed me the gift card. There was no answer or justification for her behavior. This is truly a Customer Service issue and not a pandemic issue. read more

They gave me a dud pressure washer twice, their team doesn't talk to each other because when I would talk to a person to swap out the machine, I came in asked for a swap and they just gave me a receipt and then I told him " no I want a swap" was then told I couldn't get a refund even though it was their machine that was a problem. I came for some screws. They have screws up the wazoos. This fact has both positives and negatives. It's positive that given all these choices, they surely will have what you need. It's negative that given all these choices, overwhelm will set in. After returning home, I realized I got the wrong screws, so I thought I could return them and then buy the right ones. For some reason, the cashier could only find one set of screws in her system, so I only got to return some of them, and the rest I had to keep even though I won't be able to use them. I brought the exact screw I needed, so I showed this to an employee. She seemed busy, but she had a good attitude and wanted to help. She helped me navigated all their screws and make sense of it all, so I appreciate her efforts. When I returned home, my screws worked. read more

He was having happy face talking to another white customer, when he saw me asking him things he just keep on walking away and pretending that he is not hearing anything, until the customer service people tell him, he was having a mad face like I owe him millions of dollars. The employees here are either REALLY helpful or really NOT helpful. A guy named Steve, who is a manager and a lady named Michelle were really nice and also helpful. We got an electric lawn mower and weed whacker on a special deal and used a Lowe's coupon. They honor coupons from competitors as long as it is not expired. They do not honor online deals but they do honor some Amazon deals so call ahead and ask! We were there on Memorial Day and it was packed. They did not have enough people working this day so on "sale" events you should probably go in with an open heart and be ready to wait in a line for a bit. hehe They have plenty of parking of course but are located off the service road so you have to make sure to be on the northbound service road. read more

I've been to a few home depots where all the employees would roll their eyes if you asked them a question, but this store has some of the friendliest employees I've ever worked with. I believe the person who helped us purchase our washer and dryer name was Lonny (or something very close to that) and he was literally beyond helpful. The only reason I'm giving them a 4 star is because we had the washer and dryer delivered and installed through their third party provider. The two people who installed the washer mixed up the hot and cold water valves.... Luckily we ordered a new fancy shmancy washer with the bells and whistles, and the monitor of the washer shot out an error message which mentioned that the water was too hot. This is when I figured out they had them swapped. I wonder what would have happened if I order a more basic model without a monitor. Would I have just kept running washes until my machine broke? I know it's not home depots' fault, but I did order the machines through them so I give them partial blame. Otherwise I will continue to come to this store as my Fiance loves making me do projects around the house, and I enjoy the awesome service. read more

(I think his name is Cory... older gentleman... holds a resting I'd-rather-be-anywhere-else-in-the-world-right-now face...sighs loudly before he shuffles to where he's going next... you know the guy.) I don't so much worry about taking it easy and not g.a.f. at your job, except that at that time, I had food in the car, in Texas heat, and this was supposed to be a quick trip. It is most definitely not the closest Home Depot to our house, but we will drive the extra distance 90% of the time to just come here. The parking situation at this location is far better than the rest. The best part of this location is the staff and employees. Everyone is so friendly and helpful, there hasn't been a time when I've come here and been disappointed with the customer service. Danny from the contract desk is extremely helpful and friendly. While shopping at home depot I was approached by a rep of STATEWIDE REMODLE. Made an appointment for bathroom consult. Wife sold a bill of goods by 2 elderly female "Designers" who were nothing but high pressure sales agents. $28,000.00 later my bathroom is gutted but I did get a new plastic step in shower and tile floor. We were then told STATEWIDE does not do PAINT,CABINETS, ELECTRIC nor PLUMBING. NEED TO SPEND ANOTHER $12k+ TO FINISH WHAT I thought was part of the original quote. Check though made out to STATEWIDE was cashed by HOME DEPOT. Stay away from STATEWIDE and just to be sure you are not conned out of your money STAY AWAY from HOME DEPOT. This review is specific to delivery service. I ordered a significant amount of flooring materials online and paid to have it delivered. The delivery time-frame is 6am to 8pm, which is pretty vague to begin with. 8pm rolled around on the day of delivery and still no delivery. I never received any phone calls or contact of any sort. The next morning I called the store and they told me the order wasn't delivered because it "wasn't available". The Home Depot employee then blamed TForce several times. TForce is the company they subcontract to for delivery. I'd attach a photo, but I'm still waiting on delivery. read more

I would give zero stars if possible. I had new doors installed by this Home Depot and it has been a nightmare. The "Milwork Design Specialist" who helped me with my door order updated my order with a completely different door than the one I originally wanted. The size of the door was the same, which is what showed on the updated quote I was sent, but it did not indicate that the dimensions of the pet door I wanted were completely different. I now have a huge door that my chihuahua cannot even use. My teenage son can fit through the door, and I am a widow with 2 young sons and now feel completely unsafe with this huge pet door. I paid almost $5000 for 2 new doors and install. I complained, but of course the new door she got me does not have a return policy, when the door I originally selected had a 90 day returns/exchange. I have called everyone at the store and the manager basically told me it was my fault for signing off. I have proof in emails that she changed my order, and while I did approve the door change, she told me the door was exactly the same and I was not notified that the exchange policy no longer applied or that the pet door size was completely different. I am guessing they get kickbacks for this "similar door". I feel totally mislead and ignored by this location. Do not use them for your door install, they will overcharge you, completely mess it up and then you will not get anyone to address your concerns or call you back. read more

I really like this Home Depot store's great product selection, knowledgeable staff and convenient location. (Pro-tip: after your shopping trip, stop by the HMart food court across the parking lot for some Korean fried chicken or sushi!) But it (or any other Home Depot location or their website) may not be the best place to buy appliances. I bought a GE fridge and washer/dryer set 3 weeks ago. Both the originally-delivered washing machine and the replacement I subsequently got turned out to be defective. The fridge started making horrific grinding noises after a week, and this morning it died. $2,500 and SEVEN service appointments later, I have no fridge and no washing machine. The Home Depot store manager agreed to let me return the second defective washing machine, and I'm grateful for that. They wouldn't take back the dead fridge because I didn't report the defect within their 48 hour return window, and I understand that the local staff is constrained by corporate policy. Jim and Dorothy from the Appliances Department were empathetic, helpful and did their best to advocate for me. But the very expensive and time consuming lesson I've learned is, 48 hours is not a long enough return window for appliances. Costco, as a point of reference, accepts returns for 90 days. Their prices are significantly higher, but the discounts that Home Depot negotiates with its suppliers means it has limited leverage when things go wrong. Don't go for that, and don't buy any GE products, ever, or you may be stuck waiting for your EIGHTH service appointment in less than a month. read more
