Went to Roosters on Crookshank tonight was there 20 minutes after being sat before anyone spoke to us. Then it took 15 more to get our drinks. When we ordered our drinks we told the server we were ready to order she said no I'll go get your drinks and then take your order. When the bartender brought my beer and no one else had their drinks which she saw and asked why we told her that's how it's going so far. She took our order then they finally brought our food asked if everything looked good we told her we didn't have our appetizers. Which they went and got right away and brought them ice cold. We were told the Manager would come over but they never did. I would of understood if they were busy or if we were acknowledged but it didn't happen and the only person who apologized was the bartender who was not our service. If I could give negative stars I would. Do better. read more

I have not been back over to this place of business in six months so that should be a good start that things have not changed since the last time I went there I placed an order for a fried chicken salad they give grilled chicken and I have to pay for there mistake and I will not be back any time soon I spent too much money and have to wait almost a hour for my order I will not go back ever read more

Oh man. This place is amazing. I've been waiting for it to open since January. It's been a long time coming, but has been worth the wait. There is an extreme lack of restaurants on the west side, it's primarily all fast food. What full service restaurants we do have, well, most of them just aren't that great. Rooster's is great. Like really great. Reasonable prices, family friendly atmosphere, great service, and amazing food. They have some of the best wings anywhere. The burgers are top notch. And the mac n cheese? Well it may be the beat mac n cheese I've ever had. And I really like mac n cheese. It's good. Get it. Just a heads up, they're almost always busy. That may change in time, but being the only good restaurant in the area apart from a few mom and pop places, it likely won't. read more

Every time I eat at this Rooster's location the food is always hot and fresh. Their ranch is delicious and the wings are always nice and saucy. The food quality was okay... had a few orders of fries at our table, they seemed to be barley cooked to serve... the modifications we asked to have on our meals were not done at all... almost like the requests were ignored. Our server was very slow and went missing on multiple occasions, constantly turning our heads looking for her (she is a very nice person though, which made it hard to be upset about the lack of service... but blamed her irresponsibility on the cooks or 'people in the back'). Great chicken wings, a solid drink selection and the staff are generally friendly. The prices aren't too unreasonable and the menu variety is genuinely impressive. The decor is like walking into baby boomer hell. There are so many signs that basically amount to "technology bad / millennials bad / I hate my wife / why can't people spell anymore / shut up and work or get fired, fuck you". Coincidentally the place is always filled with loud assholes and I've seen quite a few trucks outside with crudely-scrawled messages on their back windows accusing Dr. Fauci of being a terrorist. On top of that, the place seems to be perpetually short-staffed, and the customers are not afraid to abuse the first employee they see over it. So it's hard not to assume that the place is poorly managed and that the workers aren't paid enough to deal with idiots shouting at them all day. I like their food, but I don't really have any interest in going inside the restaurant itself ever again. If I wanted to deal with bigoted morons shouting about other people's pronouns, I'd get back on Facebook. read more

Saw on Facebook that they were allowing the Monday wing special for carry out during the Coronavirus lockdown. I called and placed an order and was told 15 minutes. Upon arriving, staff met me at the car to take payment and let me know my wings would be out soon. About 5 minutes later I received a text that my wings were ready and they were promptly delivered to me in my car. Some places have been cutting back during these tight times, not Roosters. The wings were huge and covered with sauce. I recommend mixing sauces because the flavors do not have much spice. I went with nukiller and Carolina gold. It had great flavor and heat(most of their sauces are very mild). Their care for their employees and customers will definitely make me a regular once things are back to normal. read more

Just an average spot with average food. I was tempted to go with 2 stars, but I tried my kid's chicken, and it was pretty good. Service was average. Waitress walked by and looked at my empty cup 3 times, and never offered a refill. Our food took 45 minutes to come out for no apparent reason, since there was only 3 other occupied tables in the place, and two of those were already eating. I ordered the dumpster tots, which are listed as an appetizer, and you guessed it, they came out with dinner. The tots were pretty good, not soggy, but not exactly smothered in cheese per the menu description. I'm not sure what's going on with the bacon either, it's not crispy and doesn't have much taste. Thank God the "dumpster" sauce came on the side, because it sucks. I got the Italian hoagie. What a joke. It looks like about a third of the meat in the menu picture, not piled high. The lettuce, tomato, and banana peppers were stacked in two little pyramids on each half of the sandwich, which was odd. Overall, it all tasted ok, and I would go back for the chicken probably, but it wouldn't be my first choice. read more

Had Roosters for the first time - definitely an upgrade from Applebee's. Boneless wings are large and real wings, fried chicken sandwich was excellent-you can get it dipped in any sauce, fried chicken wrap was very good with the spicy ranch. Appetizers were the cheesy garlic bread and nachos - very good and reasonably priced. Service was quick and friendly. Will definitely be back. read more

2 stars is even generous. There was no host for a good amount of time when we walked in and took a bit for us to even be acknowledged. My food was okay, but my friends food was the opposite of what the server told her it was meant to be. They were not very busy, but our waitress seemed to be missing for half of our meal. Took 10-15 minutes in between interactions to get anything we asked for. I believe our waitresses name was Christine and she was not very nice. She was talking to coworkers most of the time when we needed her. My friends issue with her dish did get taken off of the bill, however, the waitress made it seem like it was our fault and a huge inconvenience to her. Overall, we will not be coming back. read more

We checked this place out for the Bengals game last week. Amazingly cheap food and beer prices. Our meal came out fast and the beers came quick. The only negative part of our experience was our server (I know this is a new place with new people). She was very difficult to communicate with- it's almost like she wasn't listening to us when we ordered or told her we were going to stay after we were done eating. We would've stayed for a few more beers but she brought us our check and it felt like we were being "rushed out". I'm confident this place will improve with experience and time! read more
