What a gem! This place sits in the heart of Avondale ran by the Chef himself. I'm so glad we had the opportunity to try so many items and was very impressed! The lamb chops were my favorite but everything was 10/10 good! The chicken Alfredo was full of flavor, the Philly egg rolls were crispy and so delicious, the shrimp was a little too salty but the salmon bites were perfect. The Mac and cheese and yams are a must try!! We also tried the honey bbq wings and if you like them saucy, Chef nem has you covered! My only complaint was the wait time. We were told 45 minutes but they hadn't started our food until we came back 45 minutes later. I will say they made up for it and took great care of us! I highly recommend calling ahead versus placing orders in person to reduce the time waiting around. read more

Loveeee Chef Nem. The hot honey chicken tenders are sooo yummy and really what draws me back here. There is not seating inside so really you just put your order in and wait in your car until they text you letting you know it's ready and then take it to go, hence the name. Their lemonade is also really tastey and a great addition to the meal. The service is fine too. Nothing has gone wrong for me when I have ordered or picked up my food so I don't really have much to say about that. I've gone there several times. My favorite is the fried salmon bites & Mac & Cheese. The food is fresh & delicious.

If you go, expect a wait since everything is made to order. You can place a text order with a minimum of $50 spend and paying in advance. The menu covers a decent range of food, with the specialty items being drippy tenders and loaded fries. The tenders lived up to the name and were definitely dripping in a delicious sauce. I would actually come back just to get a sampling of the sauces offered. The lemon garlic salmon fries were good, I just wish the fries had been a bit more well done and crispy vs kind of soggy beneath the toppings. In addition to the food, there is a homemade nemonade served that has a great strawberry peach flavor. This is a to go place only and it takes about 30-40 min to get your food so be prepared to either stay in the small parking lot or have something else to do in the area. Salmon, lamb chops and shrimp are abundant on the menu, over a bed of creamy, cajun alfredo penne or fries. Chef Nem is a gem and a gentleman. He took good care of every customer that walked in with assistance of his efficient staff. No doubt this establishment is ground floor, and it's a small store front with two windows; one to take your order and the other to pick up after they call your phone. Wait time is about 15-20 minutes. They are closed Monday and Tuesday, and we went on Wednesday, so they had a revolving door of hungry customers. (They take orders online as well, though I found it difficult to do). Security mans the narrow and bumpy parking lot and opens the door for customers. Patrons driving in make it make sense for everyone to get in and out without issue. We ordered wingdings with garlic parmesan, which were so tender and perfectly doused in sauce. We also had the salmon cajun alfredo penne. So creamy and seasoned just right. The salmon was a little over grilled but forgiving. They also have asparagus, ya'll!!!!! Chef Nem personally brought my order out to me and opened the door with a smile to exit the building. There's so much more in the menu to try. We will definitely be back! read more

Came here after a post on Chowdown Cincinnati, and was not disappointed with the food. However, we came unprepared to wait and spent 45 mins hangry in the car. This is definitely best ordered ahead of time by calling or texting. Wait was worth it though because the food was incredible. Not pictured was the Mac and cheese because I scarfed it down on the drive home. It was a small portion for the price though. The food is fantastic. How do the kids say it these days? Bussin! . I had a salmon egg roll one day over the summer and went back recently (actually drove back from a business stop in Columbus!!) I didn't know how large the salmon rolls were(I had one before but I thought it was one per order. It's actually two and they're cut in half) so I ordered five!(yes I did order 5) then I ordered four of the fries lobster tails and two orders of Mac and cheese. It's a kitchen to go and believe you me it is wha it says. Very small vestibule area that you place your order and possibly wait if there isn't a line(think of an old school taxi stand or Chinese/chicken spot if you're from an inner city) The wait is a bit long and it opens late in the day BUT it's well worth the wait! When in the Cincinnati area I'd say it is most definitely a must try. I would show photos but I ATE IT ALL!! . I'm a bit mad at myself because my daughter went to college here and lived up the road and she claims to have told me about the spot but it wasn't until a couple years after she graduated and moved that I happened by chance to have it via someone else ordering and offering. I'm a super BOZO for that! I hope they not only keep up the good food but somehow manage to expand and have a seated area and another location with earlier hours. Very impressed. Food was amazing, best takeout food I've in a long time. Everything was seasoned to perfection. I had the salmon egg rolls and shrimp with salmon lemon garlic fries, so good. My daughter and niece had their honey and regular wings with cheese fries. They couldn't stop raving about food and can't wait to go back. We also got a side of the Mac we all tried and loved it and believe me we can be picky. You do have to wait a bit but it was well worth it! Highly recommend, you will not be disappointed! read more

Customer service okay. Food was ready at quoted time. Went on two separate occasions. First time i tried breakfast which was salmon & grits & wasn't a fan. It just wasn't flavorful enough for me. It's not fair to order a meal and and to receive it 3 hours later than expected delivery time not able to reach out to anyone to fix it and it be the wrong order. The quality check is not there and the consistent operation is not in order. I got the drippy tenders and loaded fries lemon garlic ones . The food was sooooo good, the Nemanade was so good and refreshing it went perfect with my meal. Customer service was excellent very knowledgeable of the menu and gave great suggestions for a first timer. The inside is small but mighty. I love how everyone was comfortable inside I seen all types of people enjoying Chef Nems food. And he just dropped a new flavor Nemanade to.
