A consistent chain. Good for watching sports, large groups, families, getting together for a few beers or an easy lunch or dinner. The food: It's what you can expect from most chains. I will say though that their wings are far superior than that other black-and-yellow wing chain that is less than mild let alone wild. I would choose Wings and Rings anytime over the other large chain. They have great salads and apps as well. But again, you're not going to a five star restaurant. This is a solid, middle-of-the-road, sports bar chain. The service: I don't think I've ever had bad service here. Even when they're crowded. The staff is always friendly and fun. The ambiance: A couple of things here. If you're looking for a quite or intimate get together, then go somewhere else. It's typically loud at Wings and Rings. The open platform, high ceilings, 500 TV's and crowd usually all have their part in the volume. Now, you'll not be screaming to the person across the table from you, but the volume is a little on the louder side for sure. This shouldn't be flagged as a bad thing though. Wings and Rings is a high energy fun place. Now, going back to the TV's.......... If its a game/match that you want to see, you'll find it in almost any direction you look. If you want to watch Sunday football, but maybe you don't have the game you want on your cable service or can't decide which of the two or three games you want to watch, then hop the car and come on down. They'll have it, almost guaranteed. There is about any seating option you can think of. Booths, large booths, tables, grouped tables for large groups, high tops, outdoor seating and a bar. Yesterday - Nov 5th, I had the biggest craving for hot meat in my mouth. Only one place would do - wings and rings! It's been a minute since I've enjoyed the special meat of a wings and rings bone deep in my throat, but that dry spell finally came to an end. As a very gay homosexual, servers often keep their distance from me. But ours was up close and personable. He took my order and his bulge was eye-level.....an extra treat! And the bald ginger manager was a scrumptious cowboy - if I'd had a rope I would have lassoed him and pulled him close....then rode him like a bull! Can I get some ram ranch with my wings please?!!!! My food came out quickly and exactly as I had ordered. I requested the most girthy wings available and our server made it happen. I ate them down to the bone and sucked them dry - savoring the juices running down my chin (loads of flavor!). There's something electric about this location.....the LGBTQ friendly atmosphere here is always so welcoming. Although not promoted as such, I can always feel their energy when I go in there. It had been ages since I've been to a Wings and Rings. I must say, it is better than I remembered! The wait staff were experts on the menu and the beers on tap which was very helpful to me because I'm an avid beer consumer. I took a risk and tried the blueberry chipotle bbq sauce on the wings and WOW was that some of the best tasting wings I've ever had. It was sweet and had a kick to it that was refreshing and made you lick your fingers clean. The vibe was as expected and had a sporty energy which makes sense since it is a wing spot that lends itself toward sports. Normally I like their boneless wings a lot, but I'm wondering if they recently shrunk the size of their boneless wings. They used to be fairly good size, where one boneless wing would be 2-3 bites. Ok , this is the 3rd time I've gone here and I hate posting bad reviews but the other two times I've been it's been terrible. The only reason I'm posting some thing today and giving it a one is because this time I have food poisoning plus my eight year old son is sick. The only reason we came today is because his school was giving a fundraiser and they were donating 10% of all proceeds back to the school. Unfortunately I now have to miss work and I've been in the bathroom for the last couple hours on top of that it's wings. That's the one thing that you would think they would get right and they didn't. They just drizzled the sauce on the wings it was not tossed it wasn't enough sauce I believe it was the blue cheese that might have been bad. A couple of the wings weren't even cooked in so they were raw and texture. It was terrible. It's a large beautiful restaurant with so many tv that every seat is a perfect spot to watch your fave team. The staff is friendly & always showing love to my elderly mom. Just to start--I don't eat meat, so coming here may be somewhat of an oxymoron. But alas, I still found some delicious food for me! It took about 10 minutes before our server came for us to ask us for any drinks, but luckily we were not in a hurry. It was surprising though, because the restaurant was not too busy at the time so everyone certainly had time to get tended to. 1) I got the "Cauliflower wings; for 6.99, the portion was certainly appetizer-sized. It tasted delicious but only had about 6-7 florets 2) The veggie burger I got was a classic black bean burger that was decently sized. I asked for it without cheese and the Chipotle brioche sauce (both has dairy in it). The one qualm I had was that because I requested "extra pickles and adding mushrooms to burger", I was charged an extra dollar, so instead of 9.99 it was 10.99. The receipt was not clear with the extra charge, so it did not say whether the extra charge was from my additional requests or if it was from a typo. I am surprised they wouldn't accommodate to a simple alteration for free. Overall, the server and greeters were friendly and the place was clean. The Cole slaw and wings were good however the onion rings and fries were way too soggy and cold basically due to the corporate designed carry out packaging that seals the fried foods in a tightly closed package that steams the hot fried food with no venting for the steam.....just saying there needs to be a brain session to solve this problem. Arby's and McDonald's packages their carryout fries and spiral fries in open top containers that maintains the crispness and let's the steam escape. Will not order carry out sides again. After driving past this place the last year, my husband decided to stop in to try them. I was debating between a 2 or 3 star. Let me preface by saying this location was very clean. The bathroom smelled nice and was also very clean. One lady took our drink orders and another our food, both were great. On to my main issue, the food. I ordered a five piece boneless wings, fried, with honey BBQ. My husband got the same except buffalo sauce and we shared a side of onion rings. The wings were not crispy, at all. I even had to look closely at one to see if I accidentally got grilled instead. Nope, just soggy. The wings disappointingly lacked flavor. The more often I come here, the more I'm starting to like this place. They have a decent beer selection and the food is superior quality to some of the other wing places nearby. I wish it was just a bit darker (or something?) with more of a sports bar feel because I wouldn't mind staying after we eat hang out, have beers and watch the game. Ate here on Monday for a late lunch the week after it opened. Service was great and the food was fantastic. We had some boneless wings, cauliflower "wings", fries, Saratoga chips, chili and salads. No Happy Hour yet--that will come next week, we were told. We were especially impressed with the cauliflower dish--it was prepared quite uniquely. Breaded and fried--soft inside and crunchy outside and perfectly spiced (similar to the Sicilian Cauliflower served at Brio) We will be back soon, probably during Happy Hour, to try some other menu items. I rarely, if ever give bad reviews as I try to be mindful of the day someone may be having, or try to consider if maybe the cooking staff might be new. Today was different because our waitress was clearly on drugs and high on something other than marijuana. To start, we were seated and after about 5 minutes the hostess came out and said that our waitress asked what we wanted to drink. This poor girl had a job of being a hostess and not a waitress, seemed very nervous so we ordered waters and asked for a draft beer list. The hostess came back a few minutes later with a cocktail menu. This was completely NOT her fault as she was again, the hostess and not our, waitress. Then comes the waitress who, as I mention above is completely out of it, her eyes rolling in the back of her heads and cannot speak, asks for our order. I ask for the draft list and she gives it to us. Her face had open cuts and she a bandaid with fresh blood, on her arm. We placed our order and when she took it, she could not even repeat my husbands order! She went back, and my husband and I were trying to decide what to do! Move seats, talk to the manager or ask for another waitress! We decided to let it go because honestly, we didn't want anything done to our food! She came back a few times and we just let her know we were fine. All in all, the food was good but our waitress was foul. This is the only word I can use and I know it's awful, as I try not to judge anyone. Given her state at the time we were there, I have no other words. Came here for the first time with a table of six. We were immediately seated outside, with no wait and plenty of staff to serve us. Waited over 10 minutes to be greeted by a server. During those 10 minutes, three servers had come out at separate times to help ONE table that was seated after we were (they were locals come to find out). Eventually, one of our friends got up to notify the manager that we had been waiting for a long time. One perk of our experience was our server Ryan. He was so great and professional! However, it seemed like we waited a fairly long time for our food to come out, only to eat lukewarm to cold shrimp, fries, burgers and wings. The fries were lukewarm and felt oily.
